I will write an honest review of this resort from our experience Positives, flew with air canada, no issues, had exit row, lots of leg room. Tulum airport was ok, not busy as we got in around 9:30 pm bus was waiting to take us to resort. Rooms were clean and spacious. Grounds were gorgeous with flamingos, tropical birds, and other wildlife. Staff was friendly, always had a Hola for us. Tulum airport was great on way home although not much opened at 5pm. The air canada rep was awesome as our friend had mobility issues, she got him a wheelchair and gave us priority check in and boarding. When we arrived in Ottawa they were waiting for us with a wheelchair and same thing priority screening. Went to 2 shows, they were pretty good, used the pickleball courts and they also were very good. Sea was beautiful blue, we were on the Kantenah side and the beach and water was really nice. We walked to the left for a good stretch which was nice. We only went to the Japanese restaurant which was amazing and our chef was hilarious. Negatives: Only negative was our air canada rep at hotel, she was more interested in booking tours than having a briefing about the resort or finding out about the bus back to airport. She said come back on Friday, we were leaving on Saturday but Friday and Saturday she was a no show. We had to get the Sunwing rep to find out what time our bus was leaving to go back to the airport. The music around the pool could have been changed up, it was the same thing all day over and over except when the aerobics in the pool was on but not a big deal. All in all it was a great resort, don't listen to the negatives, I would return in a heartbeat.

4th time staying in this great resort. Good weather, lovely clean and spacious room, lots of restaurants and bars to choose from, plenty to see and do, surprising wildlife (including monkeys this time), good entertainment and friendly and polite staff. Sumptuous restaurant at palladium Mayan resort. Even with reservations, waited almost 45 minutes. Once seated dinner was excellent Hostess very polite and apologetic waiter very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu. Large portion and food served hot Dessert was very good. You definitely can not fault the rooms and the up keep of the gardens, pool areas and beach. But the food in the buffet restaurants was definitely questionable at times!!! I'm really not a fussy eater and even sometimes I struggled to find something that looked worth eating!!! We even got served raw salmon straight from the flame grill!!! One evening in the buffet restaurant, we had been waiting that long for a waiter to come and take our drink order, my husband went to the bar himself and the guy responded with "This isnt a la disco tech" and to sit back down!!! When the waiter eventually came over I asked for a Vodka and coke and his response was that we do not do vodka!!!! We did manage to get into the Japanese and steak restaurant which were actually quite good. We also thought that the drinks in the day around the pool and beach were very weak/watered down.
