One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! Everyone working there was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms are updated and have lots of modern amenities. The spa was exceptional and a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. We can’t wait to return!

I visited the stunning Grand Hotel Victoria to propose to my girlfriend of 2 years last week. Everything about the stay was perfect and an absolute dream. The destination is stunning right on the lake with incredible views as well as easy to access boat transfers to the beautiful Bellagio & Varena. The concierge staff were so attentive and helpful even down to the small details of planning the proposal, and our boat trip, they helped me with everything, no request was too much for them. The general manager was a gentleman, and very welcoming also taking the time to speak with us and introduce us to the hotel and get to know him. The hotel building and our lake view suite was beautiful and the facilities exceptional, I have never visited a spa with so many state the art facilities and rooms, I could of stayed there all week alone! All in all the grand hotel Victoria has a happy customer for life, myself and my fiance are already planning next years visit for our anniversary. Memories which will last a lifetime, its a must visit! Joseph

My husband and I came to Lake Como for our wedding photoshoot and the concierge, especially Veronica, were incredibly helpful in rearranging services for us last minute due to weather changes, they took the stress away and were extremely quick and responsive. The rooms are lovely and clean, and the hotel also has a great spa area - the biggest on the Lake!

Each interaction with the staff was pleasant and they always went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. A special thanks to Lorena, from her warm welcomes every day to making sure we were having the best experience possible. Finally, the head concierge Giulia was a rockstar! We had a wonderful stay at Grand Hotel Victoria Lake Como. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Serena that helped us during check in process. A special thank you to the Room Division Manager, Lorena, for the wonderful surprise of a room upgrade. The room was cozy and beautifully appointed. Each morning, breakfast was a delightful experience, thanks to Salvatore and the entire staff who made sure everything was perfect. Their warm hospitality and attention to detail truly made our mornings special.The service was impeccable. I highly recommend the Grand Victoria Lake Como for anyone looking to experience luxury, comfort, and exceptional service in one of the most beautiful places in the world. I can’t wait to return!

I booked this hotel thinking it would be nice, however I didn’t realize how great it would be. We were immediately greeted on arrival upon stepping out of our van. Service was 10/10. The concierge team and really all of the staff was fantastic. They took care of literally anything we needed. The hotel itself is beautiful. The room was comfortable and the entire place even smelt amazing. We enjoyed aperitivo on the front patio with a pianist playing. Breakfast was fantastic. They set us up at victoria beach which was a great day as well. Their car service was super convenient. I do not have one bad thing to say about this hotel.

Well located in the heart of Menaggio, this hotel provides convenient access to the lake como triangle. I am rounding up from four stars because of the hard product, breakfast, location and cleanliness. I will highlight that this price point the service felt a high brow, and while I felt valued as a customer there were a few awkward interactions with staff that made me feel that I was a burden on them. Don't set your expectations for a water view room if you're booking a standard room, the slh integration out of Hyatt into Hilton makes me Think that a one category upgrade will likely be the norm for Hilton diamonds which means a courtyard view. The grounds are immaculately manicured, and the renovation is well executed. No trip here is complete without visiting the spa area which is quite possibly one of the best I've experienced. It's important to remember that lake como is a luxury destination and a five star hotel of this caliber is certainly not a value spot. The breakfast has passion fruit, smoked swordfish and an extensive cheese selection. No complimentary black truffle for breakfast but I left each morning more than satisfaction with the selection. Overall I recommend, but expect steep prices.

Nothing was too much trouble and they all played their part in making one feel very special. Thank you to everyone ! The hotel is in a great location and is luxurious and spotlessly clean . Food quality excellent too . The evening entertainment especially on Festival Night was fantastic . If you want a first class experience at a fab hotel with easy access to all the beauty spots on Lake Como , then book now ! Ignore the person who complained about the marks on the luggage , a totally unfair reflection on a hotel which is striving and succeeding to give of its very best . THE ABSOLUTE WORST SERVICE EVER!!! They will DAMAGE your suitcase in the process of checking out and straight up IGNORE you or GHOST you as soon as you check out! Our brand new suitcase that we bought a couple of hours BEFORE we checked in was damaged!😄 they said they will move the luggage for you and put in your car trunk and guess what!!! When we got home the brand new suitcase was scratched and damaged. It was a little annoying but i left them an email explaining what happened. I sent them the damages theyve done and the receipt of the brand new suitcase. The day after that, no reply. I have sent follow up emails multiple times, contacting them on whatsapp but they literally dont even care!!! How do you call yourself a 5 star hotel?? Dont we all stay there to get better services? Ive been never ignored by any other hotel in fact i been treated better at 3 star hotels!!! Shame on you guys. At first it was just a little unpleasant and now IM PISSED. Lets see if youre gonna ignore this review too. Yall only act like you care when it ruins your reputation. Too bad while we were staying there, general service and their concept restaurant was good i wanted to leave a nice review. Leaving our invoice as well so you cant act like i never stayed there.

Only complaint is that there was a private party the day we arrived and the entire pool area was not only closed off but the music was extremely loud and we could not even enjoy a nice evening on our lovely deck. Music and festivities went on until after 9 PM and for those of us experiencing jet lag it was a bit much. Other hotel guests complained as well. I don’t fault the hotel for housing such a large and most likely very profitable event, however other customers who were paying top dollar were not pleased with it.

If you are choosing between the top hotels, here is my list of why to choose this hotel: Location- Menaggio is much less crowded than other towns on the lake. The town square is less than a 5 min walk and did not feel overcrowded or too touristy. Two good gelato places, try both. Then go for a long walk up the hill. Location- it is a quick ride by ferry to Varenna and Belaggio to check out the other towns. The Spa- the weather is very unpredictable. Having a huge spa to spend time inside during rainy days is a great advantage. The spa has lots of different types of rooms (moss, Himalayan salts, steam, sanua,...) to spend the day. The staff-everyone at the hotel is extremely personable. The wait staff, the concierge desk, the front desk, were all so friendly and helpful. We needed to reschedule some activities and they were accommodating The hotel-I prefer modern to classical. This hotel was charming yet very modern. The restaurant was terrific for breakfast and lunch. The salads were super fresh and amazing pizzas... The beach club was not yet open when we visited...

The hotel is beautiful and the ground are lovely. The service and room amenities leaves a lot to be desired. The staff is intermittent - some are kind and friendly, others are aloof or feel that they have something to prove. For the price I would have also expected a lot more from the amenities of the room - there is insufficient light in the desk area, there is no clock and there is no seating area - only one desk chair to sit in, located in a corner. There is also no paper and pencil, and no ventilation for the shower in the bathroom. The upside is that the bath products are nice and ample, though would be more ecologically friendly if they weren’t bottled individually.

We recently stayed at the hotel as part of a Tauck tour group. It is a wonderful hotel, with attentive and friendly service. The food was excellent, and the rooms were attractive, although it took a while to figure out the light and window covering buttons! Fabulous hotel and I would recommend it to anyone coming to Menaggio.

Great service, rooms and spa. The most comfortable hotel bed we have ever slept in. Best hotel breakfast buffet we have ever had. Some minor things that could be improved: bathroom flooded when using walk-in shower as drain was not adequate for flow of water. Lack of in-room information on restaurant opening times and menus. We personally prefer carpet or rugs underfoot in a bedroom rather than wooden floors. We also thought the cost of drinks in the bar was a little excessive, although they included lots of delicious nibbles.
