Grand Hotel Cavour

Amazing hotel, walking distance to everything. I will be coming back to stay again. Food was incredible lots of choices for breakfast. The views are the best! The roof top bar is incredible. Great service. The rooms are clean, standard room slightly small but we upgraded and it was lovely.

The staff were extremely friendly, the hotel was very clean, and is very conveniently located near to Duomo and multiple art museums. The view of the bell tower from our room was our favorite part of the stay! We would definitely recommend Grand Hotel Cavour to friends visiting Florence!

We had a very enjoyable stay here. The hotel is in a very convenient location to most everything. Our room was fairly large and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Absolutely nothing negative.

We had booked a 4 night stay in a suite. The suite was beautiful with two large closets, furniture for clothing storage and a large bathroom. It was exactly as shown on the hotel’s website.The only problem was the noise. We were on the second floor and heard street noise...

We had booked a 4 night stay in a suite. The suite was beautiful with two large closets, furniture for clothing storage and a large bathroom. It was exactly as shown on the hotel’s website.The only problem was the noise. We were on the second floor and heard street noise all night and until 5 am. We asked to switch to another room which they accommodated. While the new room was very quiet, the bedroom, living room and bathroom were all significantly smaller. In addition, there was little storage space. We enjoyed our stay after the room change but felt that we didn’t get the accommodations we were expecting.

We picked this hotel as it was in the heart of the action and were not disappointed. We loved our time here. It was hand enough to pop back and drop off shopping, or have a rest in the afternoon The room was clean tidy and just big enough with a great bathroom and computer bed. Breakfast was extensive and the best on our trip.the staff were more than helpful with my gluten intolerance which made the experience even better. The staff on receptions were knowledgeable and were able to assist with our questions, booking us taxis when needed. Internet was a bit patchy at times but we worked around that The icing on the cake as it were was the rooftop bar, we visited twice for the whole experience, one in the light and once in the dark. Overall a lovely 3 days.

Excellent, central position, lovely clean hotel, clean towels and bedding every day, lovely breakfast with oodles of choice. Very efficient and accommodating staff. Only one criticism would be very little hanging and drawer space. Also bathroom rather small, but otherwise perfect for our 5 night stay

We loved our stay at the Grand Hotel Cavour and would absolutely stay there again. The location is perfect, the breakfast is incredible, the rooms are nicely designed, the staff is lovely. I am longing for breakfast in the beautiful dining room, an excursion just a hop and a skip to either the Duomo, Bargello or Ufizzi (and many more close by), afternoon espresso at my favorite nearby cafe looking at the Duomo and then returning after a busy day to the luxury of Grand Hotel Cavour.

Location is unbeatable. Service is very very good. Our suite was very roomy and clean. Breakfast is 5-star: best of our European travels, anywhere. Rooftop bar is not to be missed for its views of Duomo and the city and for its good bartending. We much enjoyed this stay.

Fantastic location , beautiful hotel , lovely breakfast , comfy bed, great shower. My only complaint was I requested an ironing board & iron & was advised there was an ironing room I could use on another level which I thought was inconvenient.

We booked this city break to Florence for our 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary and the hotel, their staff and the surroundings were all exceptional. The location is excellent as most of the key historic sites, restaurants and bars are only a short walk from the hotel.
