This review is for the Beachwalk Coffee Shop only. We stopped to get coffee and the young lady that served us was not very friendly for a 5 star resort. I ordered something, then quickly changed my mind, but she had already squirted 4 pumps of syrup in a cup and looked at me angrily. I told her never mind. Not a big deal, but terrible customer service. Maybe she was having a bad day, but it was only 8am.

Just visited for our honeymoon and honestly everything was perfect. From check in , the room provided and the service throughout the hotel - everything was fantastic. We stayed at 3 high quality resorts during our 14 night stay in Maui and the four seasons was by far the best....

Just visited for our honeymoon and honestly everything was perfect. From check in , the room provided and the service throughout the hotel - everything was fantastic. We stayed at 3 high quality resorts during our 14 night stay in Maui and the four seasons was by far the best. The service and experience at the adult pool is truly luxurious and worthy of the prices this resort charges. All meals were great and acknowledged our honeymoon. Visit this resort if you can, you will not regret it as it’s a different level to all other resorts in the area.

Stopped in here for a beer at the bar inside the hotel. Waiter was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Lots of options on the menu to choose from. Enjoyed the beautiful sunset from there as well, by the pool. Highly recommended for anyone looking to have a relaxing time.

This has to be the best hotel I think I’ve ever stayed at. This was my first time going to a four seasons and it was spectacular. As soon as you arrive you are welcomed by the valet staff and given a lei and taken inside. This hotel has so much and everywhere we walked it just got more beautiful. The front desk staff were incredibly polite and the manager came out to introduce herself also! The adult only pool was beautiful with outstanding views and the two restaurants were fantastic. The waiting staff at both were so nice! I have to highlight that we went to Spago on our final night and I had the best Tomato soup, Lobster (part of surf and turf) and dessert ( I don’t even know what it was called but it was at the bottom of the dessert menu and had banana sauce and they bought it out in a pan) I have ever had in my life. We had a few situations that we needed to talk to the front desk to sort out and they were incredibly responsive and helpful. We took the early morning snorkelling and swam with sea turtles and the helicopter ride around the Island with the pilot Derek, who was incredible. These excursions really gave us a taste of Maui and is 100% worth doing! The beach is beautiful also! I just can’t rave about this hotel enough. I have never experienced such incredible guest service before with staff that seemed to really enjoy working here! The hotel in itself is so gorgeous! If you are going back and forth on whether you want to splash out on staying here, just do it, cause I would do it again and pay more for what I experienced! I was so upset when I had to check out!

Stayed at the Four Seasons Maui club level for our honeymoon. Everything was perfect - service was top notch, property beautiful, and activities aplenty! You do need to go early (7a-8a) to get the cabanas with the best ocean views, but there is plenty of seating even if you can’t grab those. Pool attendants will put towels down for you and come around with water and other goodies. Onsite restaurants are all great. The club level was definitely worth it. Unlimited food (changes for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and dessert) and drinks, and a dedicated concierge team to expedite your check in and answer any questions. Rafael, Maggie, and Pat were particularly wonderful. Everyone knew our name and made us feel like family, which is a testament to their professionalism as we only stayed four night. We will most certainly stay at the club level again for future visits! Thank you for a wonderful honeymoon!

We were here 4 nights during the week. Overall, left a very average impression. My husband and I have been lucky to have visited many other hotels on Maui and truthfully, we don’t believe FS is worth the money. In the Wailea area, I’d recommend Hotel Wailea (adults only) for a true 5-star experience in quality, or Andaz / Marriott Wailea (kid friendly) for more intimate views / better pools and ultimately better bang for your buck. Detail our opinion below, but do want to flag that the service is still excellent and up to par with the expected FS standard. Staff is super kind and attentive. They do the best with what they have and definitely deserve the recognition for that! TL;DR - FS Maui needs a facelift. Run down rooms, common areas, and pools (in fact they were doing construction the entire time we were there, which is needed, but should have been advertised before you booked in my opinion). Chipped paint, broken or missing pool tiles, old decor, poor infrastructure for the number of guests - not the experience you’d expect for the cost. For example, to get a seat at the adult pool, you had to be in line by 6:45am and even then you were lucky to get an umbrella. You had to check-in with their attendant every hour or else they moved your stuff. Mind you this was middle of the week in early November - high season must be insane. “Ocean View Deluxe” was also a bit of a let down. You’re set far away from the ocean so you get as much of a view of the hotel itself (and other guests’ lanais) as you do the ocean. Rooms themselves had some minor issues as well (broken tub drain, shutter doors didn’t close properly, older amenities, etc). While we greatly appreciated the staff, we likely won’t be returning to this property - again for $1,200+ a night, it is not the quality we’re looking expecting.

I never write reviews - hotels/resorts, restaurants, airlines, etc. - but my wife and I had such an experience at FSMaui I had to write a review. We stayed on the Club Floor and if you are able to book one of the 26 rooms and suites, it is a must! Here goes: - Staff/Team Members: The Club team were amazing - Pat, Margaret, Tracie, Rafael, Jiji (Dodgers fan-ugh!), and Sharlin - were exceptionally accommodating, welcoming and had great insights on local activities. Housekeeping went above and beyond. This is the first time I had my (used) clothing neatly folded and our glasses/sunglasses placed on microfiber cloths - who does that! - Property: The adult pool was intimate, the infinity edge pool perfectly situated and attendants were top-notch. Tip: be sure to try to nab chairs early from Thursdays through the weekend but you can leave your contact info and they'll text you when one opens up (usually around 2pm). There is some construction/remodeling in progress but it did not detract from the overall experience. - Food: We only ate breakfast at Duo and at the pools but everything was well done and, again, the team were amazing. The fish and chips at the pools is highly recommended, more than enough for two, and delicious! I wasn't expecting much but the overall experience was more than I would have ever expected. We will definitely return to FSMaui!

A lovely property! We mentioned that it was right after our engagement and my fiancés birthday in a few days when we arrived and the staff continued to congratulate us and be very kind. The beds are always incredibly comfortable at the Four Seasons. This property is quite beautiful and on the beach which is a plus. We requested an ocean view room on a higher level- the resort is currently under construction and there are quite a few people who stay at this resort with children- so I would say it’s definitely busier here and more noise than smaller resorts. Overall a lovely property with helpful staff and lots to do!

Awful experience at the Four Seasons. We were woken up in the morning to an extremely loud jackhammer sound. We were never told about construction during booking nor when we checked in. In fact, they “upgraded” our room, but it appears they just moved us closer to the construction. When we complained, we were told the manager would call us, but were never called. For a 5 star resort and over $1k a night, this is absurd and unacceptable. If you’re looking for a relaxing resort and superlative service, look elsewhere.
