Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon

Christmas lunch was a total joy. The food was really good with piety of choice that caters all appetites, the service was super attentive and friendly and the live music was very enjoyable without being loud and intrusive. Highly recommend it.

So, the staff at breakfast didn't know how to handle a group of influencer wannabe ladies at breakfast playing their phones and music very loudly. Then I asked the duty manager to get me a table at Cura for the third night of my stay, and I didn't get a confirmation overnight. They only send confirmation of any booking on the day of the booking itself. Which seems weird considering if people are traveling they want to know things are confirmed? Room was comfortable, and very well organised. Pillows are too fluffy and don't provide any neck support. Pool was nice and warm. Cura was fantastic tho! Anyway on the last day they tried to charge us for 2 chocolates we didn't take. So what's up with that? Not my fave Four Seasons. I expected better service from this brand.

Incredible. Everything you would expect from a 4 Seasons. Maybe the facilities are a little more modest compared to some other properties but service was just beyond as it always is at Four Seasons. Beautiful gym. Centrally located. Exceptional staff. Thank you

Overall this is a very nice hotel and we were lucky enough to get one of the renovated rooms and it was quite nice. But unfortunately this hotel doesn't quite measure up to Four Seasons' high standards on a variety of measures and its location is not really ideal. On most counts the service was exceptional with one big exception - our room would not cool to a comfortable temperature and we called every day to have this looked at. Each time they sent someone but the temperature did not improve. And when we were checking out they asked how everything was and I commented on this and that I was disappointed that they were not able to resolve this during our stay and the response I received was simply "We're sorry to hear this." Not what I would expect from a Four Seasons property. Overall still a very nice hotel and I would be happy to stay there again on a business trip but probably not a vacation.

One word for this hotel ... WOW! The Four Seasons chain is my favorite worldwide, for obvious reasons. Here in Lisbon (or Lisboa, according to the locals), the hotel is spectacularly clean, opulent and friendly. And the view from our room ... amazing! Our little balcony looked out over the statue of Marques de Pombal, which is at the center of a roundabout in city center. The location is almost perfect, a 20-minute walk down the beautiful and busy main shopping street to the area where everything happens. Also, Parque Eduardo VII is right behind the hotel, a pretty little greenery with statues, fountains and grass, as well as a big old palace to look at. The fitness center on the roof is extensive, and highlighted by a running track that looks out over the entire city. Amazing! Though a little misleading; the track ends three-quarters of the way around, so runners have to continuously turn around and go back. Not a full circle! Overall, highly, highly recommend if you can afford it. It's expensive.

We have stayed at several Four Seasons internationally, including Paris, Sydney, Oahu, Maui and others. Lisbon's site is easily one of the two best. From the moment of our arrival when Elise from reception came to the entrance to welcome us, it was an amazing stay. The Portuguese are always extraordinarily gracious and hospitable, but this was at the highest end! Dinner at La Verandah was outstanding and Rafael,'our server was charming and knowledgable. We did not get to Cura but its reputation is amazing. The concierge staff were super, as was room service, housekeeping, the fitness center staff. The view was amazing too. The pool is gorgeous although the pool service staff in this visit were the one disappointment and seemed to ignore all the guests.

My wife and I are fans of FS. Always reliable and luxurious. However Lisbon is not up to same standard as others around the world. Crowded and slow bar service. Room fruit over four days not replaced leaving rotten fruit in room. Why not fresh fruit each day when paying...

My wife and I are fans of FS. Always reliable and luxurious. However Lisbon is not up to same standard as others around the world. Crowded and slow bar service. Room fruit over four days not replaced leaving rotten fruit in room. Why not fresh fruit each day when paying for a junior suite - surely? No little surprises in room each day until our last day when we complained about fruit and a chocolate sardine box arrived! - have we really got to complain first? Bathroom no longer has nice soaps but now just one some small “green” bar of what feels like anything but luxurious soap. Bathrooms now have large refillable bottles of shampoos etc like 3/4 star hotels. No TV in bathrooms. These are management matters not the staff who are in the main excellent. Bed and bed linen good but somehow the hotel just doesn’t seem to tick the FS box.
