Tone Down the Noise To Make It Hospitable for All Ages and Replace the Mattresses

Stayed here for spring training baseball because it was closest to the stadium. Prices were high. Mattresses sagged and needed replacing. Pillows were too soft. Stayed here for spring training baseball because it was closest to the stadium. Prices were high. Mattresses sagged and needed replacing. Pillows were too soft. They did replace with firmer pillows when asked. No microwaves in rooms. Biggest disappointment was the 5th floor outdoor restaurant with marvelous sunset and water views. It was too loud and jammed with yelling people and loud music. Could not hear myself think or carry on a conversation. Never had a meal there because so distasteful with loud noise.Seems like this hotel caters to the under 25-year-old set. It's a shame because would be nice to have the place be for all ages. Downstairs dining room was good for breakfast and dinner, but it is closed 2 nights a week. Beware. Also disappointing was the upcharge on all parking. I was told it would be $12/night then was charged $18/night. Not a good way to do business. Maids were friendly and did an excellent job, as did people at front desk and restaurant.

Great location. Dunedin is a cute little town. On first sight, the Fenway looks like a charming old hotel. Staff was lovely and very accommodating. We checked out a day early, as the hotel was hosting an event which closed the rooftop area. Lots of people with name tags. Our room had a view of parking lot and was right next to the stairs. Has been updated but just felt like “smoke and mirrors “ or paint on a piglet.

Stayed two weeks. Mondays and Tuesdays a saxophone player in the lobby played violently loud amplified music for hours. People checking in could not converse with the desk clerk. It was so loud it disturbed us in our second floor room. The music and noise on the third floor deck was violently loud. Every evening the thumping drum machine and screaming people vibrated the furniture in our room late into the night and disturbed our rest. A clerk said it is not guests but locals who use it as a club every night of the week. No room service, unusual for an expensive hotel. No sound proofing. You can hear everything going on in the next room through connecting door whether you want to or not. Mattress old, soft and lumpy. Should have been replaced long ago. Great staff, 100% can do people. Coca Cola from the cooler is six dollars. Dining room closed Mondays and Tuesdays. Very clean for a century old hotel.

It's interesting how some people love it and others not so much.... we thouroghly enjoyed our stay at the Fenway. Our room was perfect, cocktails on the rooftop watching the sunset was great, one can also order food on the rooftop bar. We had breakfast in the restaurant and were both quite satisfied with service and quality. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and accomodating. The only negatives I would share: for only an 80 room hotel, there are a lot of hallways, going every which way, one needs to pay attention where your room is located and there is only one elevator so at times there is a wait to go up or down. The building has only been a hotel for about 5 years and has a very interesting past. We inquired at the front desk about the history and were given a printout about the background of the building. Everything added up to a nice couple of days. Would stay there again if in Dunedin.

We had a Jazzy Brunch on St. Patrick’s Day. The food was incredible from the beignets to the crab cake Benedict and duck confit… pure perfection. Maria was out server and she was provided the best service I’ve had in a while. Thank you Maria for our anniversary experience.

I have always wanted to stay at the Fenway Hotel and finally managed to do it. My husband and I stayed 2 nights, we are in our 60's. I booked a King room and was upgraded to a suite that overlooked the pool. It was just beautiful! Very quiet room and the bed was comfy. I am a picky traveler that stays at a lot of hotels and must have quiet and a comfy bed, so they get an A+. The staff was helpful and very friendly making sure anything we needed was attended to. The rooftop bar was amazing and drinks were great. The only complaint I had was trying to ride one of the bikes. The process was frustrating but doable. Otherwise, it's a great hotel in a great location. We were able to walk to restaurants and the waterfront.

A nice refurbished (100 year old) property on the waterfront. We had a nice room but were disappointed to be facing the parking lot. Not a big issue for us as we spent very little time in our room during the 2 days we were there. Be specific if you want to face the water. Nice roof top bar. Go early if you want to get a good view of a spectacular sunset. There is a fine dining restaurant in the hotel. Unfortunately it isn't open on Mondays & Tuesdays.

We booked this hotel for 3 nights during Spring Training. Upon turning down the bed in our room on the first night we were disgusted to find what looked like a blood stain on the fitted sheet. The front desk was contacted & housekeeping brought up a top sheet to replace the fitted sheet. Obviously, we had a conversation with the front desk regarding our concern about the cleanliness of our room. We have yet to be contacted by management regarding this issue. We will not be returning guests nor can we in good conscience recommend this hotel.

Weekend getaway . Upon arrival there was a wedding so couldn’t park on entrance so parked in the back and carried luggage to entrance . Upon check in they told us pool and garden was closed due to private event . Pool was very small for 83 rooms with 4 umbrellas and 15 beds . No bar . Nobody to serve at bar in lobby . Rooftop bar is nicely located . Drinks are sportsbar quality . Rooms are small but nice . View was the noisy A/C units . Location is great at 10 min walk from downtown and access the Gulf . With better management could be a great stay . Definitely not worth the 1195$ for 2 nights , breakfast and parking not included
