Pleasantly pampered on the gold-level!

We stayed January 27-31. Service was immediate, friendly and seamless. We were greeted by the vehicle valet immediately upon arrival. Our luggage was unloaded, skis brought to the ski valet and car parked by the valet. We stayed on the gold level floor, so went directly to our floor where we were privately checked in, and our luggage delivered to our room. Everything was easy and seamless. We reserved the one-king gold room which suited our needs just right. Bed, pillows, sheets, robes & slippers were all high-quality. The Le Labo shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and body lotion are luxurious. Shortly after arriving we received a welcome platter with fresh fruit, nuts, chocolates and sparkling water. An appreciated added touch! Housekeeping was amazing. We would go for breakfast in the morning and our room would be made up by the time we were done, and turn-down service by the time we were back from dinner. The gold level lounge was a great space to dine with a delicious hot breakfast, snacks throughout the day, and “canapés” in the evening. I emphasize “canapés”, because it was actually really “dinner”. Everything was fresh, healthy and plentiful - a welcome change from the pub-food in the village. The chef, Fernanda, was excellent and went out of her way to accommodate my vegan diet. One evening she even specially prepared fresh poke bowls (tofu) for me which was fantastic. Exquisite, various desserts were offered each evening, and when there was no vegan option one evening, Mathilda & Fernanda went out of their way to provide an amazing 3-flavour sorbet from Choux Gras Brasserie Culinaire! Beer, wine, and alcohol was self-serve, with everything needed to prepare cocktails, mimosas, martinis, bloody Mary’s and more. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the establishment, but Mathilda, on the gold level took special care. She ensured I had everything I needed and ensured my diet and preferences were accommodated. A special shout-out thank-you to Mathilda! We did not visit the spa on this occasion, but did enjoy the outdoor pool & hot-tub. The hot tub is spacious and the view of the hills amazing. Firepits & Muskoka chairs with blankets surround the area. The outdoor bar offers a variety of drinks and the servers come to you - a bonus not having to get out of the hot-tub. On our final evening we chose to dine at the Fairmont on-site restaurant “Choux Gras Brasserie Culinaire.” Sensational food and service! Our server was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. The food was amazing and the vegan option was the best I’ve ever tasted. The chef even visited our table to greet and speak to us. We dined on a Thursday evening which is when they have live music entertainment - and the piano player was brilliant. The over-all experience was top-notch. Hats off to both our server and chef, Guillaume and Edgar! The location of the Fairmont in relation to the ski-hill is also perfect. The ski valet is on the bottom floor near the exit that takes you right to the lifts. The location is also central to the village, with all the shops and restaurants. Ideal location! Both my husband and I were thoroughly pleased with our stay and would highly recommend. We will be back next year and hope to see Mathilda and Fernanda again!

We had a mixed experience during our stay at Fairmont Mont Tremblant. The Good: Most of the staff were warm and polite, with some truly exceptional service. A special shoutout to Patrick at breakfast—his attentiveness and kindness left a lasting impression on us. The breakfast itself was fresh and delicious, making it a highlight of our stay. The ski valet service was convenient, and the ski-in/ski-out access made our days on the slopes seamless. We also enjoyed the hotel’s prime location in the heart of the village, allowing for pleasant evening strolls. The pools and hot tubs were spacious and wonderfully warm, adding to the relaxation. The Not-So-Good: While most of the staff were professional, we did encounter a few disappointing interactions. Notably, the valet at our departure was aggressive and unhelpful when we requested to charge our car, despite paying $60 per night for parking. This left us with a sour impression. Housekeeping was another weak point. Towels were removed but not replaced, bedsheets were not changed, and basic amenities like toothbrushes were missing—something you’d expect even at a mid-range hotel, let alone a luxury one. The room itself felt outdated, with broken kitchen cabinets that needed attention. Additionally, cleanliness in the hot tub area was questionable, as we noticed incidents like drinks being spilled and children getting sick in the water, raising concerns about how often it’s properly cleaned. A small but frustrating detail was the extra charge for storing ski boots and poles with the valet. Given the premium price of the hotel, this felt unnecessary and a bit cheap. Also, a few front desk staff seemed reluctant to be fully transparent with information or to proactively accommodate what we had already paid for—whether due to a lack of training or simply indifference, it did not reflect the level of service expected at a Fairmont. Overall: Despite these issues, we still had a good stay. However, for a five-star resort with a premium price tag, the experience fell short in some areas. We would love to return if management takes constructive feedback seriously to elevate the guest experience. Guests choosing Fairmont Mont Tremblant are likely familiar with high-end resorts and have clear expectations—so if you’re going to position yourself as a luxury hotel, it’s important to consistently deliver that level of service. Otherwise, the premium price doesn’t feel justified.

Our stay at The Fairmount was absolutely amazing. Yes, we were on the 7th Floor and it was beyond our expectations. The staff was extremely accommodating. Check In at the concierge desk on the 7th floor was such a pleasure. The 7th floor has its own concierge area with a lovely variety of breakfast foods, a wonderful bar in the afternoon, snacks throughout the day and desserts at night. The room was tastefully decorated. The village which was at our fingertips was spectacular. A wonderful variety of restaurants throughout the village with a definite French flare was the icing on the cake. For the skiers, it is a paradise. But it is definitely something to add to everyone’s bucket list. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

Great facilities and service, room was ok
Facilities (bar, pools, public areas) are great, it is definitely the highlight at this hotel. The service from the front desk, housekeeping, and the valet was good. The room was outdated, but it was comfortable. Overall, I would rate this hotel as good/decent given the price.
I attended as part of a conference/retreat. This hotel is not what it once was, apparently. It has a retro feel. My reasoning for saying so: 1. rooms are dated, like 2002 dated (although some are being renovated) so the bathrooms have that grunge beige, dim lit feel; door to...
I attended as part of a conference/retreat. This hotel is not what it once was, apparently. It has a retro feel. My reasoning for saying so: 1. rooms are dated, like 2002 dated (although some are being renovated) so the bathrooms have that grunge beige, dim lit feel; door to gym/spa area does not close; beds were the opposite of the Westin Heavenly Beds down the street; room carpeting has that grunge feel; 2. purchase Wi-Fi for $16/day to get 825 kbps; 2008 Wi-Fi speed and cost; opted to use phone hotspot after committing to payment; 3. set to go for a sauna and swim Saturday morning? not for you... until 9 a.m. - why? 6:30 a.m. would be a norm; 4. elevator call buttons not in sync; 5. smoking area at a back entrance to and from the village; at the very entrance so using that entrance means you will need to walk thru those smoking - circa 2004 experience; 6. the pool area is laid out in clusters that are so jammed together, you have no choice but to regain a sense of claustrophobia; chlorine smell in pools exceptionally high even if they are using salt system; screaming kids can be reasonable to some degree but not to the extent we experienced; also $5 for 'flat water' a.k.a. tap water is hardly justifiable; the evening experience of seeing a man with a mohawk hairstyle and wad of cash secured with a wide elastic band, in his bathrobe, as he purchased shooters and champagne for what appeared to be underage girls substituted my need to have Netflix in the room - I had an in person theatrical demonstration of any crime series. Never again. That said, staff were very, very good - servers, cleaning staff, all amazing. So the opposite of the facilities.
