Fairmont Pacific Rim

Beautiful rooms with wonderful bathroom. Hotel overall was beautiful, clean and trendy. Hotel bar(s) were great. Centrally located, easy to walk to shopping or restaurants, many great restaurants nearby. Hotel also had great entertainment.

We had high expectations about the Gold Level based on reviews and other Fairmont hotels. It seemed the staff were 50/50. 50% excellent and 50% poor. People raved about the chef-cooked breaksfasts but we found them terrible. The eggs were always way overcooked and not hot. I suspect they precook...

We had high expectations about the Gold Level based on reviews and other Fairmont hotels. It seemed the staff were 50/50. 50% excellent and 50% poor. People raved about the chef-cooked breaksfasts but we found them terrible. The eggs were always way overcooked and not hot. I suspect they precook the food then just warm it up. Poor experience with the doorman as well. My recommendation is to skip this hotel. For a truly great Gold Level experience, stay at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver.

Probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, normally outside my general budget but due to a conference got a bit off the stay. Unfortunately couldn't experience everything the place had to offer as we were only there one night...and during an "atmospheric storm"...it rained, hard, literally the whole time...

Probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, normally outside my general budget but due to a conference got a bit off the stay. Unfortunately couldn't experience everything the place had to offer as we were only there one night...and during an "atmospheric storm"...it rained, hard, literally the whole time we were there (how typically BC). One 'fabulous' feature, as someone who likes to explore...there was a Fairmont 'umbrella' in the room closet which I took full advantage of while exploring the Sea Wall in the rain. One security thing that I really liked, which I'd never experience before, was the fact that if you didn't have a room key to scan in the elevator, you couldn't access the guest room floors. Room service was quick and complete (they roll a table right into your room), breakfast at one of their restaurants and fabulous. Being across the street from Canada place and the ability to enter the "Sea Wall" and walk the harbour for miles it's a fantastic location. The Sea Wall is a fabulous way to spend the day (when not raining, even when raining), rent bikes, go to pubs and shops. If you are coming from the airport...I highly recommend the Sky Train, less than $20 and less than 30 min from the airport for two people to a station a block from the hotel. If it's in your budget, this hotel is awesome.

This was our first stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, though as Accor members, we've stayed in many properties worldwide. This one truly stands out as the best. The staff are amazing—kind, courteous, and attentive to every detail. The team in the Gold Floor Lounge made our stay particularly memorable!...

Excellent hotel experience. The service has been incredible from the very start. Our room is very clean, stylish, and we'll appointed. The location is perfect and the views are beautiful. A true 5 star experience when many hotels of the same calibre have fallen off. I highly recommend!

We LOVED our stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim before we left on a cruise! We arrived early at hotel from an early morning flight. We were offered an upgrade to a corner room with several views of the harbor. We enjoyed watching the float planes taking off and view...

We LOVED our stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim before we left on a cruise! We arrived early at hotel from an early morning flight. We were offered an upgrade to a corner room with several views of the harbor. We enjoyed watching the float planes taking off and view of cruise terminal and surrounding area. Another window provided views of our cruise ship at dock. Our room was very comfortable, clean and quiet. The Fairmont has the most wonderful bath amenities! I am still missing the fabulous lotion, shower product line. Best fragrance/quality ever for a hotel stay IMHO. We had lunch at the lobby area restaurant/bar ARC, prior to check in. Baba was our server. She was SO delightful and provided such great service that we requested to sit in her section every time we dined here. She was very knowledgeable about the surrounding area of hotel since we did not have a rental car and recommended several things to do. Breakfast was wonderful, buffet or order off menu. Salima, at the Concierge desk was fabulous! She provided us with maps/directions/info for Stanley Park, places to eat nearby and shopping areas near hotel. I enquired about a hotel gift shop (sadly there isn't one, in which to buy some lotion that hotel has in room. The next AM when we checked out, she provided me with a small travel bottle of lotion from her personal supply!! Now THAT is true customer service! I think of Salima & Baba when I reflect on our stay in Vancouver! The hotel took care of getting all our luggage to the cruise terminal for us the day we checked out. It was much appreciated! All we had to do was walk across the street to cruise terminal to board. Highly recommend staying at this property while staying in Vancouver and especially if you are going/coming from a cruise adventure!!

Our stay was very comfortable. The staff was very cooperative and we also used the hotel shuttle service that was free! View from our room was breathtaking. I would highly recommend this hotel. Ala carte menu for breakfast was also good but it would be better if they serve buffet.
