I don’t know if the hotel is bankrupt or something and has no personnel but the service takes AGES, like really, any time we asked for food it arrived more than 30 minutes later (and if at the pool, even more). The bed is ONLY lined with bedsheets, they said they simply did not manage blankets or duvets (in a damn hotel!) so we slept terribly, even if the bed mattress was actually nice. Isn’t the whole point of a hotel to NOT have to take a blanket to sleep smoothly? I can’t “forget my responsibilities” as they say in their welcome if I can’t even sleep!!!
A smoothie they gave me was made in the same blender as some sauce and tasted like roasted chilli, they also sometimes forgot the stuff we asked but were about to charge it anyway ¿?. The free coffee capsules in the room tasted old (so why give them out anyway?).
The villas are nice, but for some reason the sink itself is HUGE but there is no place to put your toiletries, not even a tiny space on the side, which again is like ¿?
The lighting of the room is supposed to be romantic or something but I simply could not see well at night, especially in the bathroom
The shampoo and conditioner is supposed to be organic but it’s just another word for “it’s expensive and doesn’t work”.
The food is ok but really expensive (not amazing, barely at the same level as everything else in Acapulco; everything out there is so good!), we ended up eating out a lot in the end which was nice but not ideal.
They say no speakers allowed but the hotel is blasting music through the speakers the whole day. I don’t care if the hotel paid for a carefully selected playlist, I want a bit of silence too!
So in conclusion, yes it has high quality facilities and the rooms look nice, but it’s in the daily details which made me dread my stay for the whole week.

Luis and Alberto went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed to make our dining experience a pleasant one. I would definitely come back to experience their superb service. Food was also top notch. Definitely a must try

Encantó Hotel was everything and more! I could not recommend this hotel enough. My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere to relax and disconnect and we definitely came to the right place.. The facilities are so beautiful and architecturally so well thought out and designed. The pool and lounge beds are so comfortable and where we spent most of the day. The staff at breakfast, the pool and restaurant for dinner were so professional, attentive and kind. Jose Miguel at the pool provided some of the best service I’ve had since moving to Mexico…. The views from the rooms and especially from the spa are breathtaking. We will definitely be coming back for another trip to Encanto.

In the lush tropical forest and has great views. Only 45 rooms, all with balconies facing the water. Built in 2010, it has very modern open design. Great pool and all other amenities and services, including a cinema. Very good restaurants (2) both on terrazas. In the Magreb (Morocco etc.) there are 5-star hotels and there are riads that are way above the usual rankings.
Our butler Amado was very helpful too.
Overall it was a fantastic experience.

Pros: The look of the hotel and the room. First class. Really happy with it. We had a pool villa. Stunning view and feel to it.
Cons:
* Maintenance noise. Starts early and goes all day every day. Loud banging of hammers and grinding of power tools. We had a pool villa so often never left the room. The noise which starts around 7am is a shocker
* Food. Portion sizes are very small for the money. Very poor value. Food quality more 3 star than 5
* Despite the 15% service charge being included in the room, there is an air of expectation for tips. One night a bar tender even questioned my wife saying he thought the tip was too low. I don’t mind tipping for impeccable service. The service here falls way short of that mark. Very poor. 1 star
* Taxi to town organised by hotel 4 times more than any other taxi service offering same vehicles. Again, very poor
* No coffee facility in room
* Iron but no ironing board. That’s like offering a pool with no water
* Level of English speaking across the hotel is extremely poor
* The pay in full up front is very poor given covid times where plans may be forced to change at last minute. Most hotels offer free cancellation (including Banyan Tree who only require one night paid up front to guarantee)
* Mini bar only replenished on 2nd last day despite staying for 6 nights. 2 free bottles of water only replenished this day also
* Service at breakfast is ridiculously poor, asking several times for same thing often leaving without. The menu is poor
All in all, love the look of the hotel and love the room. The rest leaves a lot to be desired.
Wrote with feedback to General Manager midway through the stay. Not as much as a response. Little point responding now my friend. It’s too late!

Is By far the best hotel of Acapulco, it offers the best views from Dorado and Diamante beach, every single room as it’s own charm, luxurious bath, bed, and amenities from L’Occtane.
The main pool is gorgeous, and the bar is tended by the best people ever, Daniel, Diego the 2 Alfredo’s, Alberto you guys are so awesome, thank you for the best drinks ever.
If you are a private person, the hotel has 20 pool villas, very spacious, great private pool and they have amazing views to the bay.
We come back every year because we love the food which is amazing all the way, the views and the tranquility Encanto provides but the key part for us is the service, the staff will make you feel at home from the very first moment and we love that every single time we come back we see the familiar faces ❤️
Thank you so much to Edwin, Candido, Fany, Iliana, Sebastian, Neftalí, Alfredo, Alberto, Francisco, Oscar, Lety, Ana, Arantza and everybody else who took care of us.
Special thanks to Miguel A. For all the details, warmth, attentions and of course for creating this beautiful place.
We will come back very soon
Until then stay healthy
