We originally booked for 7 nights at the E&A but enjoyed it so much we decided to stay for a further 5 nights (weather had changed for our usual drive up to Jasper for the remainder of our holiday).
Staff extremely helpful and couldn’t do more for you.
Room was warm and comfortable. Was very near to the lift which you heard pinging as it was called and arrived but we were provided with ear foam plugs if we wanted to use them - it didn’t actually bother us
Drinks making facilities provided in the room -nespresso coffee machine- along with kettle and fridge. Microwave in a comfortable breakout area in the main lobby if you chose to purchase something and wanted to warm it up.
Reasonable sized jacuzzi pool on main floor which at times was rather hot and at times rather busy (very much so at weekends) also sauna.
Bar and restaurant within the hotel and again, very busy ;weekends the worst.
E&A is only minutes away from downtown so close to all the restaurants, bars and IGA supermarket right next door.
Underground car park (C$10 per day) was a boon especially when the temperature dropped over the last few days to below -30c 🥶
We generally go to Banff every year and have previously stayed in another hotel but were very happy here and have recommended it to friends who usually come in February

Ok hotel - rooms were a little bit basic and needed some TLC. Great location though and parking very convenient. The front desk area and downstairs etc. seems a lot nicer than the rooms themselves for whatever reason. Enjoyed our stay though.

Good hotel but not so much if you ski.
The hotel is modern and the bar and onsite coffee shop are great. The rooms are big but lack a safe or any way to dry your clothes if you’ve been skiing or even if you have a wet towel. We had a lovely view of the air conditioning units which given the money we’d paid for a weeks stay was a bit disappointing.
The location is perfect for the town and also the ski bus, but that’s where the skiing connivence ends. You are not allowed to wear ski boots in the hotel (totally reasonable) but the ski lockers are in the basement so you can’t get to them with boots on. Once you’ve left your skis you’ll want somewhere for your boots - maybe even boot dryers, but there aren’t any and as mentioned earlier there are no heaters in your room so you have wet ski gear and boots the next day.
To sum up - it’s a great hotel as long as you don’t ski. If you do then maybe look elsewhere. If you’re not into skiing or coming in the summer then it’s a great choice!

This hotel is well situated in the centre of Banff across from where the shops begin. The IGA supermarket is across the road as well as the ROAM transit hub for catching the bus to various sites around Banff. We arrived 4 hours early and Matthew checked us in straight away which was very welcome as we had just come from a very long international flight. Matthew was our first introduction to this exceptional hotel, and he was engaging, welcoming and has a great sense of humour. He also provided us with plenty of useful information throughout our 9 days. Nothing was too much hassle for him and he made our stay so much more enjoyable. We booked a loft room which had stairs up to the 2 double beds and TV. The downstairs area was open plan with a couch and TV and the bathroom. The hotel also has a great coffee shop and activities booking desk which were helpful. There are also areas with couches throughout the lobby area to relax and plenty of fireplaces. Easy walking distance to everything in Banff and it wasn’t as expensive as other hotels. I suggest booking through their website directly as it had much better specials than other third party booking sites. Lots of underground parking. There were a couple of issues worth mentioning. The toilet blocked twice and had to be fixed but was sorted quickly by maintenance. The Restaurant served great food but there are also plenty of other options throughout the town. Breakfast was disappointing each day. I had the same meal each morning, however it never came out the same way twice. A couple of the staff were less than helpful, and I got the feeling they were doing us a favour by serving us. I understand they are transient workers, but the restaurant could use better oversite, I think. Other than those small issues, this is a great place to stay, and I would stay here again.
