Excellent hotel! Excellent location, exceptionally kind staff. Perfect breakfast with a view of the Acropolis. Been there several times and it always turned out great Close to everything of interest in Athens, the parliament, the pedestrian street, the market and plenty of restaurants nearby.

We stayed here only for one night prior to travels home. Largely a tourist filled hotel, don’t discount the wonderful breakfast and rooftop cocktail bar that overlooks the acropolis. Get the olive tree martini and change your life forever

Wonderful stay. Right in the heart of Plaka, incredible view of the Acropolis. The staff was wonderful, the pool nice and quiet. We will definitely stay here again on our return trip. It was the perfect introduction to our vacation. Walking distance from incredible food, shopping and both Agoras.

The location of the hotel is the perfect. The room is nice and the best is the excellent spa Aegeo in which I got a treatment by .wonderfull Lambrini. It was graet The breakfast on the rooftop in very nice and the view to the Acropolis. Very recomended

We started our tour of Greece by spending a couple of nights here. It is a fairly short drive from the Airport. This hotel has a great location. Our room was very clean and bright. The rooftop bar is spectacular with a great view of the Acropolis right from your bar stool. You are steps from excellent shopping and restaurants. The roof top pool is small, but still a nice spot to hang out. If we return to Athens, we would stay here again.

Comfortable and clean rooms, great service, the staff does everything they can, perfect breakfast, Central location, easy access to everywhere the spa is the worst, entrance limit to , 9 people, this ruined the experience for us, it's a shame because the hotel is excellent

The Electra Metropolis Athens is an excellent choice for a centrally located hotel with nice appointments and amazing views of the Acropolis. The restaurant serves an amazing breakfast with brewed coffee and espresso drinks, not the ubiquitous Nespresso maker I've found at a lot of European breakfast bars (don't get me wrong they're great in the room, but I want fresh coffee in the restaurant). While we didn't eat dinner at the hotel, it looked very good and the bartenders were top notch - I didn't say we didn't drink there. The fitness center, pool and steam room require a reservation because they are rather small, but I didn't have any problem getting a workout in. No issues with the room at all. It was modern, clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed. Ours had a balcony with beautiful view of the Acropolis at night, which was worth the extra for us. The Plaka and historical attractions are nearby, and our concierge set us up with a guided tour with a very nice local guide (she told us all about the little church right in front of the hotel, which was used to smuggle guns during the 1821 Greek revolution!). The Electra Metropolis Hotel is a solid choice for luxury accommodation in the heart of Athens. Indeed, location is one of its main advantages. Most of the major city attractions, shopping and restaurants are within easy walking distance of the hotel. The hotel itself is comfortable, clean and well furnished with all the inclusions and service you'd expect at this price point. The rooms are reasonably spacious for an inner city European hotel. One of the highlights is the rooftop restaurant and bar which has a great view over the Plaka and Acropolis. They do have a bit of an odd demarcation regarding the "boundary" between the formal restaurant and the bar. This limits where you can sit if you want to be in the shade or have a better view etc. My only other comments are that the pool area is relatively compact and with limited space. It's also not very private with the area being immediately adjacent to the restaurant and bar public areas.

OMG, where do i start! We got in very early from a cruise ship and just expected to drop our bags and explore BUT one of our rooms was ready so we were able to check in right away. The location is superb, the staff are incredible and I must mention Dina, from Rooftop restaurant, she is an absolute gem! The rooms are large and airy, air con great, bedding, pillows and linen fabulous. The view from the rooftop is just mind-blowing! Breakfast is sensational. Could not fault a thing!

We stayed for a few days to the Electra at on metropolis. Extremely centrally located. It is very close to Ermou Street and also the plaka area. Tons of dining options available in the local area. The location is highly desirable. The Hotel is New and very clean. The rooms are large. We stayed in a balcony room. It was supposed to have a view of the acropolis, but there was no view. The bathroom is modern. The gym is extremely small in an allows only four people at a time. There are two pools one on the rooftop and one indoor. both are very nice. Rooftop restaurant and bar have extremely good views of the acropolis.

Excellent accommodations and great service. Staff is polite and helpful. A great place to stay. The rooftop bar with adjoining restaurant has a superb view of the Acropolis. Go there just before sunset and get some great photos. The food was outstanding, worth visiting even if there wasn't a view.
