My wife and I very much enjoyed our one week visit. It was 17 years ago when we first visited El Cid in Mazatlan at El Moro. This time we stayed at the Marina. We enjoyed the personalized service, from the maid, Rosy, to Armando Lizarraga, Rosy was very attentive to our needs and most thorough in her cleaning. The Concierge, Armando L, was so helpful from the very beginning. We arrived Friday and wanted to attend a special function at el Teatro Angela Peralta on Saturday. We had tried earlier to obtain tickets online and over the phone and we were not able to purchase the tickets.. That Friday, after his shift, Armando went to the venue after his shift ended and purchased tickets for us and gave them to us the following day. We had a great time. In terms of the site,the rooms are comfortable. The food is very good. The gym had the fitness training equipment we needed. The pool and beach are very relaxing with attentive staff

The grounds were immaculately kept and the marina was very peaceful. While this wasn't an adults-only resort, there were never too many kids around and it was very quiet. Even though the resort didn't have the best view of the sunset from the majority of the rooms, it was easy and simple to get to the beach area. The beach area was nice and it wasn't ever super crowded. This being our first All-Inclusive experience, we would have appreciated some more direction on the how-to's of it all. While the staff was great at explaining the various features of the resort and what the different areas were, we had to be told by waitstaff how the package that we purchased actually worked when it came to day-to-day. No complaints on the room amenities and the experience we had. Altogether pleasant and a relaxing vacation. I wish there was more information available online ahead of the trip that could have prepared us better for the restaurant choices, the layout of the resorts, timing of certain items, etc. as that would have been helpful for someone else who was also traveling here for the very first time!

The main dining room at El Cid Marina overlooks the beautiful Marina full of boats and ships from everywhere. Amazing ambiance, remarkable service and so many delectable food choices! Brunch is available 7 days/week but live music is added on Domingo.

I just love this beautiful resort! Every thing is so well done-- the grounds are gorgeous with flowers, plants, green grass manicured to perfection. The private beach is terrific with a nice grill serving lunch on the beach. Very warm water in one pool, refreshing water in another. Pool bar/ snack bar has great coconut shrimp ! The other pool's snack bar has a delicious shrimp salad with avocado. The resort is well managed by Armando. The staff throughout is exceptional-- bellmen, servers, housekeepers are so sweet, friendly even loving toward guests. Dante , manager of pool activities, stands out. He is very outgoing, providing a wide range of fun activities. He is an excellent Spanish teacher, giving classes every morning that are well attended. He is an energetic addition to all and adds so much! The rooms are bright and spacious. The layout feels like a little neighborhood of cute apartments, surrounding a marina of boats. It is quiet especially at night but the city of Mazatlan is nearby, full of nightlife.

Disclaimer….i know I’ve forgotten some names but it doesn’t mean they don’t contribute to the atmosphere of our stay. LaMarina Restaurant has a new menu! Exceptional! Thank you to the staff: Hugo, Pedro, Jorge, Daniel, Jose Luis, Yolanda, Manuel and Victor! Thank you to David and Antonio at the Terraza Restaurant! Thank you to Dante and his staff for keeping things moving at the pool! Under Armando’s guidance, we appreciate Emilia, Susanna, Tim, Carolina, Ayda, Avi and Juan! Very nice, relaxing atmosphere at the Marina. I like that it's a short trip to the city and you can go to the other El Cid properties. Rooms are huge and the staff are very accommodating. Weather has been warm and the A/C works well. Going on a city tour...

Nice pillows .. great atmosphere !!! The staff and the food and the pool options are plenty!! I will definitely come back and will recommend to all my families and friends… The marina is the best place for traveling adults. Staff is very enjoyable!

Always helpful staff. The poolside activities are super fun! We did pool volleyball, darts, blackjack, beanbags, and bingo! The food is amazing! They have very nice poolside lounge chairs (wooden with cushions). But it’s also quiet. Not too crazy

Very good fun activities at the pool. The pool is heated and has a swim up bar. Drinks are good too and strong! Played black jack, cornhole, volleyball. Food is so very good. Having a great time here. The cleaning service is also great. Very cleanly!

Our experience with the actively center is always outstanding. Dante and his team are always very welcoming, and make it fun and enjoyable. A very well done area.everything very clean, explanations of activities are very clear which is important to we non Spanish speaking visitors. Thankyousomuch😻❤️❤️

Was here for 2 weeks last week of January and first week of February, we had a 1 bedroom suite that was clean and spacious, food here was sub par and very minimal choice at the buffets. Pools and entertainment staff were very good and made for fun and relaxing...

Was here for 2 weeks last week of January and first week of February, we had a 1 bedroom suite that was clean and spacious, food here was sub par and very minimal choice at the buffets. Pools and entertainment staff were very good and made for fun and relaxing days at the pool , Christopher is a great server and Ivan at the swim up bar very friendly and mixed some great drinks. Yes there is options to go to other elcids to eat but I am not one to hop a shuttle to go for breakfast or dinner, we prefer on site. Lunches at the pool we're pretty good as well. Easy access to transportation is a plus when going into town. The beach is very nice with great food and drink service. No big deal having to take the water taxi to it. A lot of time share people stay here, we did look into the timeshare and it is simply not for us. Bottom line is the food is the big issue here and that's high on our priority list when on vacation. Will return to Mazatlan but not the el cid.

With the ability to shuttle between El Cid resorts, we were able to enrich our experiences in Mazatlan, taking in food, entertainment, and different vibes all in one trip. This was our first trip to Mazatlán and we fell in love with the city and El Cid - we will be back.

We are just home now from a long vacation at Marina El Cid, Mazatlan. I feel compelled to acknowledge how much the staff contribute to the pleasure of being at this resort. In particular our camarista (housekeeper) took such good care of our room and greeted us every day with a warm smile and a cheerful attitude. All the staff are amazing but I would like to single out Olivia who takes pride in her work and has made our vacation so pleasant. Thank you Olivia - building A 5th floor!

Great room clean well maintained with buffets with delicious food and a lot of options entertainment was great. Sleeping was easy quiet room with large windows and air conditioning to help sleep. Will return to enjoy another vacation next year

They are a good resort but they have issues with the parents not being able to read English and spanish signs that say their children are not allowed in hot tubs. Other than that a great resort. I would definitely go there again and again 5 stars
