What better place stay on your honeymoon in the Smoky Mountains than a resort opened by the region’s best loved musician? Dolly Parton was born in nearby Sevierville and came back to her roots to build theme parks, musical shows and the Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa in the area.
Celebrating the comforts of home and family, the resort is ranked as one of the top hotels in the south. Guest rooms are comfortable and offer all amenities including WiFi, flat screen TVs and multiple charging stations. There are indoor and outdoor pools and a spa where guests can relax and feel refreshed.
The Smoky Mountains National Park is just a few minutes away, as are most Pigeon Forge tourist attractions. Guests with tickets for Dollywood’s award-winning theme parks can use a special shuttle service and have many more amenities as well.
Inspired by Dolly’s family traditions, Song & Hearth: A Southern Eatery serves breakfast, dinner and weekend brunches. The menu is also available at the poolside lounge and for in-room dining. The DM Pantry is handy stop for a quick snack.

room was rather small, hotel is 10 yrs old and showing some age. although the room was clean the colors and decor seemed to be outdated and the bath tub faucet was loose from the wall. we had an off-season discounted rate, the normal rate for this room was far outside our budget. the restaurant was a big disappointment at dinner, breakfast was much better, both are pretty expensive.

We were very disappointed in this "resort" and especially at slightly over $1800 for 4 night stay. Room was very basic with 2 queens beds. A thread bare towel (pictured below) was in our newly cleaned room on day 3. On our second day we noticed that our room was not cleaned at 5pm. The housekeeper was halfway down the hall when we inquired about our room. He stated that they had 8 call ins for the day and asked are you sure you need the room cleaned, we answered yes. He then politely agreed to clean the room. My husband was eager to have the Seafood Buffet in the resort restaurant and was very disappointed in the quality of the buffet of the seafood and other items. This resort and accommodations were not a good value for the price.

The DreamMore is a lovely resort. We have visited nearly every year since it’s opening in 2015. While still a gem in the Smokies, the resort itself is showing the signs of wear. Stained carpet and water stains on the ceiling in our room, also dust stained vents throughout the resort. The lobby hosts kids crafts with paint, stickers etc and it shows..stained and sticky furniture along with broken springs in booth seating. It’s a shame really, while the resort is kid friendly, the children’s activities should be confined to an easier place to clean as to keep the sparkle on the beautiful lobby areas.
The Park has also lost a luster, many many rides, eateries and shows are shuttered even though the guides and staff tell you to visit (we were even issued time savers to a shuttered show).

Our room was amazing with a sitting room and bedroom. We were on floor 6 and could see the Dollywood fireworks from the windows. The decor was twee (Dolly style) but a bit tired and not as clean as it could be. There were coffee splashes on one of the walls and the inside of a bathroom door handle had a crusty substance stuck to it, for example. The room was hot (it was Christmas time) and the air conditioning was loud - it kept us awake. We had lots of ladybirds and a couple of shield bugs inside the room but couldn't let them out as the windows are sealed.
There were signs of wear around the hotel but the pianist, harpist and singers were delightful. Every member of staff at reception, in the shops and around the building, was friendly and pleasant - I would come back again just for the atmosphere created by the people here!

Another wonderful time at DreamMore & Dollywood!
We took a couple that were friends of ours to see the lights, & DreamMore & Dollywood amazed them & inspired us all over again. What a great way to get into the Christmas Spirit! Everything was so beautiful!

Everything was very enjoyable.
The rooms were nice. The restaurant at hotel not very good. The area where you get tickets for different attractions could have been more helpful. I'm don't order online a lot and they acted like we were bothering them when asked about certain attractions.
