Seventeen percent of the US population is over 65. Dinosaurs so to speak. So, the Divi decided to go paperless, right down to the note pad they leave in your room six sheets! There is a coffee pot expresso of some sort. No directions. Try figuring that out at 6 AM. After trial and error you learn to fill the water open the lid insert the coffee canister. Again, not a single direction to be found. After going to the front desk you are told there is a switch to start the flow. Where is it? You got it pressed against the tray which hold the K cups. One must tip the entire machine to find it then switch it on. The coffee “system” rests on top of the Ikea like furniture. All of which have sharp edges that you can impaled yourself on. I still have a gash that seeps blood to prove it. Ah now for the safe… It didn’t work. The front desk sent up their expert to fix it. He fiddled around failed two or three times the had it working as soon as he left. It “err” again. Calling the front desk the next day [we wanted to get to the beach] another expert fixed it, same deal worked didn’t work he left “err” again. On day three after carrying our passports, money, jewelry around [don’t forget all the drinking in between] We went to the front desk to have the safe replaced . Oh yes sure, we will take care of it. Yeah…..nada! For a week we carried our life around the beach the bars the walkways the public bathrooms. Relaxing huh? Back to nothing in writing. Try to find out what the restaurants serve, you got it No written info. Oh, go on your phone…. Access the menus…..For some reason the server could not be found between 12 & 2. Ah the bathroom There is a very impressive Ikea styled barn door which slides. On the inside the imitation cast iron door pulls are positioned that if you aren’t at the top of your game your fingers will be crushed or severely damaged. The lock is a stupid contraption which in theory is supposed to drop into a frame type thingy. Similar to your garden gate. Yeah, sure once again you risk ripping all the skin off your fingers. Beauty is only skin deep at this facility.

We have stayed at many all-inclusive resorts. The Divi is in our top three. Just an amazing place. You won't find a finer beach. No seaweed no shells no rocks. The beach was truly amazing. Everything has been updated. The oceanfront room was perfect. Open the sliding door to the patio and you were just a few steps to the ocean. Comfortable king bed and a shower fit for two. The Divi has a number of pools to choose from. You can dine at any of their restaurants. Some need a reservation, so they need to be done in two-day increments. Just make sure you do it each morning when you start your day. Don't forget to bring a float or tube. They have a free blowup service. Taxi service was easy from the airport. $30 per car. About a 15-minute ride. They provide golfcart service between the two hotels for dining/shopping. Casino is just a two-minute walk. This is a laid-back resort with total comfort. We will return!!

We love this place. The most beautiful beach I've ever seen. The pools are great. The staff is nice. Lots of restaurants to choose from between the Divi and Tam (make reservations!). We didn't have trouble getting chairs like at other resorts. And I love that you don't have people trying to sell you stuff all day like at other resorts. My only complaint is that the tile floors outside the Pelican Terrace are so slippery. After it rains, it's like an ice rink with people slipping. The Divi invests a lot of money in upgrading its buildings and updating rooms--I wish they would change these tiles. There has to be a better option! I mean, even tossing down outdoor runner/carpets after a rain would be a good idea. But, yes, I love this place and highly recommend it and Aruba in general.

Just got back Feb 3 from a week at Divi AI. Have been disappointed with all inclusives in the past. Divi exceeded expectations. Beachfront resort. Beach was beautiful. Grounds very well kept. Pools clean and nice variety. Good and friendly service throughout. Food and drinks excellent. Enjoyed the buffet for lunch with plenty of nice options. Restaurants with table service were great for dinnner. Really enjoyed that we could use restaurants and amenities at the Tamarin. Food, service and ambiance nice. Nice choices between French Italian Asian Mexican, etc. Overall a very relaxing place. Some rooms could use updating, but provide all you need with comfy beds, dual sinks and clean. Coffee place with pastries in the morning was really enjoyable. We will be back!

We just returned from a week in paradise. Ignore those negative reviews. Divi All Inclusive is everything you could possibly want. Spacious rooms with gorgeous views, efficient daily service, and no problems with hot water. Buffet food was consistently tasty with lots of variety. Restaurants are ALL top notch and yes we tried all but one. Service staff consistently went out of the way to accommodate guests. Evening entertainment was enjoyable. What could be better in January than sitting outside with wonderful friends, cool drinks, and memorable live music? Divi does it all and does it very well. This is our second year there and you can be certain we will be back! And, of course, as so many others have noted, the beach is one of the very finest in the Caribbean. If you like a beach vacation and you want an all inclusive, Divi is an outstanding choice.

The bathroom and closets are very generous. Everything is very clean-staff are very kind, and helpful, ready to serve you. The little cafe has GREAT coffees and pastry in the morning. Our concierge, was Shirley Ann Croes— she was so good to us. She felt more like my mom:) A seasoned local expert, w many years of experience. She gave us great tips on what to do and see here, and recommendations for dinner. All of the sit-down restaurants here require reservations. All have something unique to offer, and I recommend you try them all. Club Margot was a favorite of ours. Great trip!!! Hope we can come again!!

Divi All-inclusive includes sister properties of Tamarijin, Divi Village and Divi Links- all a short golf cart ride away. Divi All-inclusive has the BEST sandy beaches! Tamarijin has big rocks and a few sandy parts. Tamarijin has the best restaurants and fancy drinks like martinis, margaritas,… at bars that open after 5 like the Paparazzi and Club Margot. All other pool/beach bars you need to be very specific with what you want or they give you a generic drink. Still wonderful. Club Margot is family style tapas in a gorgeous setting! club Lime has the best margaritas. I would skip Red Parrot, not that great. Buffets had variety- always fresh fruit, fish, stations,… The pool view king room at the Divi was great- it was a secluded fun pool- lots of wildlife and flowers. The room refrigerator was not stocked. There are hairdryers in the bathroom.

Overall our stay and treatment at this resort (and sister Tamarijin) is our current favourite. The resort is very clean, housekeeping great, check in/out smooth; loved the key card wrist band. Our room (#416) was large and obviously renovated recently; safety lighting (around bed frame and in bathroom) took a bit to get used to but overall is a great idea. Restaurants at both resorts were excellent. Hint: book (like two days) early either on line or at lobby desk. Entertainment was fine - enjoyed the Carnival show the best; a little disappointed that we didn't get to see the fire limbo - it was Christmas so there was another dance show related to the season instead. Most enjoyable Christmas getaway.

My wife and I traveled with another couple hoping for a nice relaxing beach holiday, and the Divi delivered. If you’re looking for a party resort, this isn’t it. We never go to the same resort twice, but this might be the one that breaks that rule! ROOM We stayed in the Vista 1 building which was close to everything. The room was spacious, with a nice large bathroom with two sinks and a large shower that worked very well. Air conditioning also worked well. Plenty of room for all our stuff. Grade: A GROUNDS Clean, compact, well laid out, although not much lush foliage we’ve seen on other islands. They have water stations everywhere so very easy to stay hydrated. Grade: B+ BEACH Just like you see in other reviews - stellar, doesn’t get any better. We’re beach people rather than pool people, so this is where we lived daytime. Had to get up early to save the palapa we wanted, would like there to be more available. Grade: A+ FOOD Their buffet restaurant (The Pelican) is mostly “live cooking,” i.e., made while you wait, but it’s quick and fresh so worked well. Many options there for breakfast (greater variety than we’ve seen at most other resorts) - including French crepes which were fantastic! - and the Pelican was the only viable option for lunch. We ate most dinners at the a la carte restaurants, which on the whole were better than most resorts we’ve been to, although not stellar. A few of the restaurants were at the companion Tamarijn resort, which was quick to get to. My wife is gluten free and this was hit and miss overall. Ample protein and veggie options, and most a la carte restaurants had gluten free bread, but the Pelican buffet only sometimes had gluten free bread. Easy to make restaurant reservations thru the concierge in the lobby, but recommend making reservations for your first 2-3 nights using the Divi app. Very good cafe with pastries. It closes at noon, would be nice if it stayed open later. Grade: A SERVICE The concierges were very helpful, and the staff in the restaurants were fun and quirky. A few of the staff were disinterested, but overall no real complaints. Grade: B ENTERTAINMENT The entertainment was much more subdued than most resorts we’ve been to. They had some local dancers by the pool and a different live band each night, also by the pool. Grade: C

3rd year in a row going to Divi AI and already can't wait to go back next year. This is perfect resort for a nice quiet stay. The beach is amazing. It is probably a top 5 that I've ever visited. All of the staff are very polite and helpful. All the restaurants are very good. Drinks start at 11 am at the bars and are always made well. I suggest bringing or buying a larger yeti type cooler for them to fill for you while you relax by the ocean. You don't have to leave the resort to eat if you don't want to. Room was very clean. Only minor thing I would say is that an exhaust fan in the bathroom would be nice and also an iron and board. Overall, another great vacation at Divi!

This is an all inclusive resort on the beaches of Aruba. The food was good, not great. And the drinks were also good. This is a resort, with a lot of guests, so the drinks and food level was to be expected. The hat was the down side. On the up side, we had a room on the beach, first floor, with the beach literally 20 feet away. OMG. If you want to unwind, I his is the place. The he weather was ALWAYS 85 or more durning the day and no cooler than 75 at night. It is windy (you are in the middle of the ocean) and the sun WILL cook you, no matter the SPF (we used 70 and still got burned) but you are really close to the equator so . . . You have beach, pools, bars, food. You can sit and enjoy the pelicans diving for food or you can take an excursion. We went on a UTV tour (awesome, not enough room here to review but check Rockabeach tours), a tour of the aloe plant and a tour of a rum distillery. The resort was clean and everyone bey happy and helpful. “One happy island”

We have stayed at this property 20-plus times and have loved it. Unfortunately, each year it is getting worse. They have updated the rooms, more on that later, but the customer service has become unbearably rude and uncaring. We used to feel like we were coming home, the staff was so welcoming. Now, they act like they are doing you a favor allowing you to stay there. The front desk is beyond terrible. It's almost like they look forward to disappointing you when you walk in. We always received our preferred rooms in the past. The past three years, we were told to email the property to be sure we received the requested room. each year we were told some ridiculous reason why we couldn't have the room. This year, when we were given a room as far away as possible, I was told, "You can't always get what you want." I asked for a supervisor who told me pretty much the same thing, only with different words not from the Rolling Stones, but with the same uncaring and non-concerned tone and manner. Too bad, lady. Our room was newly updated after many years and had a much-needed dehumidifier, but, guess what? It only worked when we emptied it because the drain to the outside wasn't installed properly. We asked five times to have it repaired and nothing ever happened. I don't know about you, but I really don't pay this kind of money to empty a dehumidifier twice a day, especially when the maid service could do it. When we reminded the front desk on checkout, we were told, well, we reported it. One day I walked into a pool restroom and it was covered in feces. I told the front desk and was told, with a bit of snark, we will report it. Unbelievable. Not sure why I bothered. This was our 20th wedding anniversary and it was basically ruined. The food was sub-par, even in the newer restaurants, servers were often surly and distracted. The entertainment was basically non-existent compared to past years. We stay here for the location. But we loved the warmth of the staff, too. And it remains a beautiful beach, steps from your room. I don't know if there is a change in management or just a lack of training, but we are sad and so disappointed that our favorite place is no longer. We don't minding paying top dollar for what used to be, but no longer. There are so many places that will treat us with respect and kindness for the amount of money we pay to stay here. If you don't mind being treated like crap just to be close to the beach, this place is for you. Renovations don't make up for bad service. You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig.

We were at the Tamarijn side of the Divi last week and it was excellent. 20 minutes from the airport, our room was clean - I loved the lighting and the balcony. Pools, bars and restaurants were plentiful at both. The beach at the Divi was better than the Tamarijn but the golf shuttles were always coming by. The music at night in the main lobby at each resort was good. All the restaurants were very acceptable, limited and not exactly gourmet, but good - you can’t go wrong with the all inclusive. We did the e-bike and snorkeling excursion. Zev and Donnie were GREAT we saw soooo many sea turtles! Looking forward to going back!

My wife and I stayed at the resort in June of 2025. The resort is basically ok. The staff ranges from below average to very good. None are excellent. When you compare this all-inclusive to ones I have stayed at in Mexico (Excellence, Finest, Dreams) it really doesn't not even come close. The rooms are ok, which means disappointing given the cost to stay. They need to be renovated. I stayed at the Veranda I think. The shower is anemic. Squeaky, but comfortable bed. Uncomfortable furniture. You have to walk really far from check in to your room with no assistance for luggage and it is hard to find the elevator. The front desk staff is not good. There is one random employee that spends his entire time next to the front desk talking to the staff trying to work at the front desk. I don't know what he does, except distract his co-workers. They hotel needs several doorman to help with taxis and transportation and luggage. They frequently had zero. They also should hire ones that know basic information, such as the cost to take a taxi from the hotel to the airport and other locations. They should engage the driver and inform him of the price. The taxi prices are set, but the taxi drivers often lie, such as our first driver from the airport that charged us 35 dollars, and then complained when we confronted him and finally agreed to 30 dollars. And told us not to come to Aruba if we are cheap. But I digress. They need real doorman. I thought most the bartenders provided good service as did the servers at restaurants at night. The breakfast and lunch buffet are pretty forgettable. Breakfast was the same every day with no variation. Lunch was pretty much the same, except the carvery station changed. They had ham as the carvery station twice, which is a sad carvery. They did have lamb one day and a big ribeye (both overcooked). You can get pizza and "paninins" at the bar, which are also forgettable. Club Margot is the best restaurant, and is actually one of the best restaurants I have ever been to at an all inclusive resort. However, the menu is set so going there more than once would mean you eat the same thing. Papparazi was decent, but nothing to write home about. We had bolognese, Carbonara, beef tenderloin and ravioli, and chicken parm. Ginger was better than I expected, though I had low expectations. We had two wok dishes (one beef and one chicken) and the bao was quite good. I liked the entrees at Red Parrot, but thought the appetetizers were disappointing. Escargot was sad, and the french onion soup was too sweet. Beef bourginon and cocount shrimp were good. the shrimp came with curly fries, which I love, but oddly, we could not find those curly fries at any other restaurant! We did not go to the Mexican restaurant. We went off property to Opus one night, which was excellent. I highly recommend at least one night off property at one of the wonderful restaurants in Aruba. The pools are dated. They are too deep and need to be re-done. We preferred the pool that was somewhat more updated in front of the Vista 3 building. So let's turn to the positives. The beach at the hotel is one of the best beaches I have ever been to. It is clear with white sand. You can see marine life easily. Because it is a low rise, it is not crowded at all. Yes we wanted front row seats at an umbrella by the beach, and would set up at 8:30. but you don't really need to. Plenty of space, plenty of umbrellas, no ridiculous getting up super early just to get a seat at the pool or beach. You can easily walk to eagle beach. You will want floats. There are plenty abandoned, so you do not need to bring one. In addition the towel hut has noodles and those foam pool lounge beds also you can check out for free. We found two floats. We liked to set up on the beach by Vista I and II at the edge of the resort area. We would get on a float and let the current take us to Eagle beach, and then take a 15-20 min walk back. Walk north to check out Eagle beach. I really liked Manchebo beach which comes out at a point just north of the resort past the rocks. You get longer stretches of that clear water you can see through going out all the way to the rope that designates the swimming area. You must go north and check out the beaches. I did scope out some other resorts, and almost all look just like the Divi. Except one stood out - the Bucuti & Tara looked much nicer, and I will investigate staying there next. Or I may go to the high rises, perhaps the Marriott. We liked to go to the beach right in front of Vista I and II at the end, because we found it most convenient. Although it was farthest from our Veranda rooms, sitting at those beach umbrellas/tables gave you fast access to 1) the beach 2) walking north to the other beaches) 3) you have wifi (some of the beaches particularly near the main pool, no wifi) 4) you are close to the best pool in front of Vista III and can go back and forth between it and the beach. Also the bar at that pool is usually the most empty, and water and ice are close by also. So you really never go back to your room. I did walk past the Vista, and although, sure it looks more updated, and I peaked into some rooms when the housekeepers had them open, and they did look better, but honestly, still nothing to write home about. We did do an excursion on UTVs to the major sites and I highly recommend it. We booked through Viator Rockabeach. Coincidentally the concierge had booked probably 12 people at the various Divi resorts on the same trip. I always research and book my own excursions, but FWIW, seems like the Divi concierge utilizes some of the better outfits. I am pretty critical with my "stars" on tripadivisor. I give this a 3, where a 5 would be a Ritz/St. Regis or a high end all inclusive like Excellence/Finest. 4 would be most Marriotts. I give this a 3.

I was totally disappointed in this place. The front desk was terrible. They were not friendly and there was not a water bottle to be found in this whole place. Our refrigerator was off and empty when we arrived at our pool front room. I asked at the front desk for water bottles and she said the hotel does not provide any. The room was in disrepair and was dirty. See my pictures. No snacks in the room no drinks. That's pretty bad for all inclusive the buffet was the worst I have seen in an all-inclusive. Very few choices, cold food and tasteless. The only good thing at the hotel was the Italian restaurant and Margot restaurant. I also think the pool was pathetic. I think I booked this place because of the beach and even the beach was disappointing. Rough waves. Overall this was a horrible trip.
