Inspired by the natural majesty of old-time park lodges in the American Northwest, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge is a rustic escape that combines modern accommodations and amenities with the feel of the great outdoors.
Swim together in the lagoon-style hotel pool or relax with cocktails by the fireside. Take in the waterfront views, or enjoy romantic nights at both fine dining and themed restaurants located right on-site. Or, of course, just tear off for a fun-filled day at any of Orlando’s theme parks, where couple can let loose, have a blast and fall in love all over again.
Waterfalls over a burbling creek, pine forested trails, towering totems, crackling fireplaces, wooden accents and rustic furnishings … it’s all for your fun-filled honeymoon in Florida at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
Guests enjoyed their stay at the beautiful resort with gorgeous rooms, full kitchen, and in-room washer & dryer. They appreciated the great on-site restaurants and beautiful themed pools. The waterside restaurant offered a lovely escape with incredible setting, excellent service, and delicious food at good prices. The Wilderness Lodge was particularly impressive with its decor, calm atmosphere, convenient boat service to the Magic Kingdom, and spacious rooms with ample storage and high-end toiletries. Visitors also loved the dining options at the lodge, the warm pools, memorable bison burger at the Geyser Restaurant, and the spectacular view of the Magic Kingdom fireworks and electrical light boat parade from their room.
We stayed in a 1 bedroom villa. Absolutely beautiful resort, gorgeous rooms with full kitchen & in room washer & dryer. On site restaurants are great, and themed pools are beautiful. Skipped the parks & spent a few days touring central florida while still enjoying a bit of Disney magic.
Ate at the waterside restaurant for lunch today. Felt a brief escape from the whole direct Disney theming elsewhere on the resort. The setting and theming was incredible. Service, food, pricing all spot on. Paid $17 for the crispy chicken burger. $9 for pint of beer. Gorgeous views over the...

Read Full ReviewThis was our first time at the Wilderness Lodge. We were impressed by its decor --very reminiscent of the Old Faithful Inn in Yellowstone, but with much larger and nicer rooms. We stayed in 6064, which was billed as a "fireworks view king bed room." We did have a nice...
