The fun begins at Nadi airport being greeted and escorted to the Como Laucala’s private lounge. A 50 minute scenic plane ride to Laucala beautiful island and the most harmonious warm welcome from the staff singing to us with so much love.The accommodations are super grand and luxurious with an authentic touch of the local decor and architecture. The GM Gary and all the staff are outstanding and superb, imposible to be any better. The food is high quality and delicious. Chef Dan and his team do an amazing job in offering many options for everyone. The farm to table concept is one of the best that we have ever experienced. The landscaping is a true paradise and it’s so much fun to explore and discover with your own golf buggy. Thank you to all of you for making our stay the very BEST after 31 years of traveling the world. We recently returned from a 6 night vacation at Como Laucala Island to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We can't say enough about the wonderful staff who went overboard to make this milestone unforgettable. Because we were across the International Date Line, they made us two very special dinners (one Fiji anniversary and one US anniversary) both in beautiful venues complete with a guitarist flowers, etc. When we returned to our villa, they had made a beautiful bubble bath complete with flower petals and hearts. A very special evening. Beyond those celebrations, the level of personal service was extraordinary. We have traveled throughout the world and have stayed in many 5+* hotels, but in this one EVERYONE provided friendly responsive service. We may have been partially fortunate in that the resort was fairly empty, but with only 25 total villas it can never be very crowded. While some hotels may have "nicer" rooms, and some better food (theirs was very good), the overall experience was spectacular. Vinaka to all the staff! We hope to be back next year.

Stayed here and never put pen to paper for a review. Stayed here for three nights as a quick anniversary getaway. A ridiculously awesome all inclusive resort. Staff to guest ratio i dont think would be beaten on any other hotel in the world. Food and service is befitting of the billionaire who owns it (obviously). Find yourself at one end of the island wanting a yummy meal you had yesterday at the other restaurant? No problem sir we are on it... 15min later its in front of you. Pool is HUGE, multilayered, and epic. Seascooters laying around the pool if you cant be bothered swimming! Jetskis whenever you want (tidal) Went to breakfast one morning and forgot sunglasses. Whipped back to the room to find 4 service golf buggies and 8 attendant s hurriedly cleaning rooms, gardens, pool (we had our own pool), replentishing supplies etc. Crazy. Bottom line: it has the feeling you are lucky to experience a resort built by someone regardless of cost or financial return. The website is testament to this :)

What can I say? It's still not coming off my bucket list! I've also been to 'competitors' Fregate Island and North Island in the Seychelles - which are both fantastic by the way - but Laucala takes it to a whole other level. You are almost made to feel it...

What can I say? It's still not coming off my bucket list! I've also been to 'competitors' Fregate Island and North Island in the Seychelles - which are both fantastic by the way - but Laucala takes it to a whole other level. You are almost made to feel it is your own island. You do not feel the commercial wheels turning or hospitality machine at work at all. Take it at your own pace. Be as active or inactive as you want. The pool is unreal! The diving is exquisite. The food and drink is a major achievement. Such quality largely due to much of it - including the wagyu beef! - being grown on the island. All four restaurants will remain open even if its only the two of you on the island! The staff are all amazing - just the right balance of helpful, anticipating needs, discrete and invisible. Go if you can. If you can't, rob a bank and go anyway!

Loved it. Such an amazing holiday. Great beaches all around. Fun sports and staff was just friendly. Great selection of food and different cuisines from indian influence chefs. Drinks, wines bears were also available.

I will say this-- it was unquestionably the most expensive hotel I've ever stayed at in my life.... but worth every penny. Wow Facilities, amenities, grounds, staff, activities... all in a league of its own
