Great hotel with the night market right outside your door. We had a quick check in and were escorted to our king, high floor bedroom which had all the amenities you need. They were kind enough to include a brthday cake for my husband. Note, there are no balconies in this hotel. We had lounge access which we used for breakfast each day (wer were there 6 nights) - the breakfast had a nice mix of western and asian foods. Happy hour also had a nice mix of food and the staff were excellent in the lounge - quick and friendly service. The lounge has great views of the city and I would recommend paying extra for lounge access. The pool was lovely BUT the wateer, in February, was quite cool - even on a hot day it was still cool. There are very comfortable loungers which fill up in the afternoon. Lots of eateries, 7-22, ATM's close the hotel which is a qick ride from the airport. We would definitely stay here again if in Chiang Mai!

I am grateful for the special care provided by June and Pumpui among the Marriott staff. Thanks to them, my stay was even more comfortable. I was touched to see the Korean flag and Kimchi Dwaeji-doruchigie (Stir-fried Pork with Kimchi) prepared at the breakfast restaurant today.

My girlfriend and I had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at Favola for her birthday, and we can’t say enough about the incredible service we received from the wait staff. Pla, Benny, and Guy went above and beyond to make the evening special. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in ensuring we had a great time. The food was delicious, but it was their warm hospitality and little extra touches—like checking in just the right amount and making us feel so welcome—that truly made the night memorable. Thank you, Pla, Benny, and Guy, for your outstanding efforts. We’ll definitely be back!

My girlfriend told me this place is really good so we went here for the afternoon tea. We are very lucky that we secured a seat at the Pool House on the 4th floor. It’s a semi-outdoor dining place with a pool overlooking the city of Chiangmai. The vibe is just great! Because of the pool fountain and the electric fans you can hardly tell it’s 35 degree Celsius out here. The staff is also great! Our waitress June Yanisa is super friendly. She not only guided us to the Pool House (which we have trouble finding at first), she also speaks in detail of the variety of tea leaves they offered for the afternoon tea. After I told her my preferences she recommended the “Doi Suthep Blend” and it’s exactly what I like. The service is intimate and homey. It’s very welcoming. Speaking of the tea, the food is also very good. It looks appetizing and tastes wonderful. I particularly adore the smoked salmon, the parma ham and the variety of sweets: the brownies, chocolates, miniature cake rolls, and tarts are all great. From the presentation to the taste, I really have no complaint!

This Marriott was really really nice! Quick shout out to Kook, Mook and Rose as they were really nice ladies at the front desk. So this I do believe is the only Marriott in Chiang Mai, but arguably one of the best hotels in Chiang Mai. The hotel firstly is in a real good location as the Night Bazaar is right outside the hotel where the night Market starts around 4-5pm every night. All th food vendors, bars, massages and shopping. If you need laundry it's across the street and more a short walk from the hotel. 7-11 across the street as well thats open all night for those late night food runs. Now for the hotel itself. Very elegant looking from the entrance into the lobby. Theres a bar (Ping) that has happy hour from 8pm-10pm each night buy get one free;) Real good drinks. Also two restaurants next to Pings on both sides. One serves breakfast each morning that has a bunch of choices from fruits, juices, breads, pastries, rice, pastas and made to order omelettes. Around the corner is a Starbucks and the Plait cafe. The desserts and iced coffee was very good -get the blueberry cheesecake! On the 4th floor I believe is the fitness center and let me tell you it's better than a lot I've seen. Theres a bar/restaurant with a pool overlooking the city and mountain. On the side is a kiddie pool area as well. The gym itself has an area for free weights, stretching etc that also has bluetooth headphones complimentary to use! I've never seen that in a gym at a hotel and they were really good. If you're on the treadmill you have a view of the mountains as well. Next the rooms were nice as we had a view of the night bazaar. The bed was very comfortable and clean with usb ports and outlets on both sides of the bed. Lastly on the 21st floor was the M club that served breakfast and dinner each day. The staff were all great and attentive to our needs each time we visited. The lounge has a great view of the mountains and the best seat is by the window as you can actually watch the sun set over the mountain in real time while sipping a margarita. Good food and drinks served in this lounge that made a memorable experience.

My husband and I live in Bangkok and travel to Chiang Mai once a year. This was my first stay at the Marriott and I was very happy with our accommodations. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The bathrroom was spacious with a lovely soaking tub. Thestaff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast as an extensive buffet with just about anything you would want. The hotel is located across the street from the city's famous night market and there are plenty of tailors, spas, and places to eat within a couple of blocks. The hotel has a spa for facials and massages and the pool is lovely.

This hotel was a really great home base for a relaxing couples extended weekend getaway retreating from the madness of the city, and shirking the responsibilities of adult life. The view from the club lounge was possibly one of the best places to watch the sunset- recommend the Aperol Spritz to pair with the rich orange hues as the sun slowly fades. We enjoyed the endless spread at breakfast- crispy bacon was made with so much care. There were plenty of local treats to try too. The spa was great and we had wonderful facials and massage by Yui & Aor. I tried my best to fight the urge to fall asleep, but it was a losing battle right from the start. The vibes were vibing at this incredible hotel with super friendly staff.
