As for airport transfers, we used happy shuttle and a taxi to return to the airport. We did an underground cenote hike, which I don't recommend.

Chable Maroma is a beautiful, secluded property with attentive, welcoming staff in a tropical setting. The dining options provide casual to elegant atmospheres with a great variety of flavors sure to please any palette. The beach is perfection. Soft sugar sand, groomed daily with comfortable loungers nestled among the palms which create separation from other guests and welcome shade. This property is for couples and not families/children. It is a wonderful place to reconnect, relax and soak in the peace and quiet.

We just returned from 5 days at Chable Maroma and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff is beyond exceptional. I would say they are the best feature of the resort. Service is fantastic from arrival to restaurants and the pool. They are always willing to accommodate any and all requests and are extremely helpful and friendly without being overbearing. The hotel location is beautiful. The water at the beach is a bit rough due to the wind (at least during our stay) but the pool was amazing. Despite the hotel being 50% booked, the pool was always quiet and empty so it felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the time. Our room - a serenity pool villa was completely private and quiet. Note - we were in room 408 which is the closest to the pool/restaurants/beach with no other villas nearby - so I can’t speak to the privacy of other villas where several rooms are grouped together. We ate only at Kaban and the Raw Bar - as we are not Michelin restaurant folks so didn’t visit Buul. The menus are great with a lot of variety, but I will say if you’re looking for snacks or small bites, you will be disappointed. There are no snacks in the villa mini bars nor does the boutique sell any. Also - the restaurants don’t really offer anything just to nibble on. A suggestion would be to stop at the grocery store at the Cancún airport and pick up a few before heading to the hotel. Also - the hotel is somewhat isolated, so it’s not a quick trip to visit a store offsite or to dine at other locations. Just something to keep in mind. Also - you are in a jungle-like environment so be prepared for some wildlife. We encountered snakes, iguanas, raccoons, coatis, frogs, spiders, and a giant beetle….along with some beautiful but loud birds. Overall - i would highly recommend this resort and hope to go back again soon.

Sad to say it has the shell of a 5 star hotel but doesn’t deliver on what they hype. They bill themselves as the #2 resort in the Americas and if you’re going to be that’s bold then deliver. They promise seclusion and privacy and yet during our stay they rented the property out for a photo shoot for some clothing brand. They popped up and turned a very tranquil resort into a bit of a circus. From the pool to the spa, they were everywhere. Relaxing at the spa to have people with cameras shooting around you is not a 5 star experience. Notes were left referring to me as Mrs., and then my name spelled wrong, which as a gay couple always rubs me the wrong way and makes me realize the resort is just going through the standards. There were some other minor things, but the one thing the resort gets right is just saying Sorry over and over. It all feels a bit empty. The staff was very nice, but seems the management doesn’t have a clear vision for service. The resort is physically beautiful but the property does not deliver to the level they promote themselves. The response that nobody wants to hear in the end is sorry and we will work hard to fix this for future guests. That’s what you will hear when something goes wrong. They won’t do anything to try tor solve any issues in the present, just empty apologies

This hotel is true genuine luxury. Privacy, space, cleanliness, with kind and excellently trained staff who obviously enjoy working there. The rooms (villas) are wonderful, modern, spacious and very well furnished. The bed is perfect and sleep comes very easily, because there is no noise whatsoever. Unlike the overcrowded noisy hotels / resorts that are competing for your attention, you can properly relax. The beach is outstanding. Pure white sand, protected by a reef, so the waves weren’t big. Beautiful warm water and no rocks like elsewhere on the riviera Maya. It is better than we could have imagined. The food was excellent with a fine dining restaurant and a more relaxed alternative but with an equally good menu. Well made cocktails on the rooftop bar, looking out at the ocean and the sunset. The breakfast (included) was truly top notch, with fresh fruit (wonderful mangoes), and Mexican and European options. Do not hesitate because the price here is truly very very good value. It’s not cheap, but comparing other resorts, this easily comes out on top. Another comparable hotel charges 12 dollars for a small bottle of water in the hotel mini-bar, whereas here, things are included without question. So, when comparing hotels / resorts, you must instead look at what you are really getting for your money. Choose wisely, we didn’t at first: the truth is that we booked/stayed somewhere else and were bitterly disappointed, quickly cancelled and asked to move here. I simply cannot believe the difference in quality / value for money for what initially seems like a similar price. We knew that Chablé Maroma would be good, as we had recently stayed at the Chablé Yucatan (it was so good we extended our stay). Our only regret is that we were seduced by the advertising photos of another resort, which was not nearly as good as advertised. Chablé Maroma (and Yucatan) was even better than the photos and delivered a truly fantastic experience for us. Without a doubt, the perfect luxury beach resort. We already want to go back.

I don't think I can say enough good things about our stay at Chable Maroma. We arrived to spend my birthday and we were blown away with the kindness and attention to detail the entire staff showed during our stay. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. Our little villa was incredible, we had everything we could have ever needed, including our own little pool. Birds and wildlife abound in the natural surroundings, giving a sense of peace and quiet that was so welcome. Food and drinks were stellar; we had a sommelier guided wine tasting that blew us away, we actually learned new things and the wines were fantastic. Dinner at Bu'ul was impressive, everything was delicious. The main pool facilities are lovely, as is the secluded little beach. Service is outstanding. Very special thanks to Nora from Wellness for arranging a special beach ceremony so we could say goodbye and mourn the loss of our little doggies. We will be back for sure to say hello to all our newly found friends there, and to spend more time since it seems it was just not enough. Mil gracias a todos!

Chable Maroma is a special place. It is one property of a Mexico based hotel group, and they do it right. Intimate property, high service, without pretense. The food was authentic high end dishes inspired by different regions of the country. The sommelier was helpful and on point with creative and tasty selections. The rooms were spacious and up to date and quite a nice oasis. Perfect for a romantic stay. I would say the place is more of an adults place, though we did see a young child or two. Not an issue. Patrons at the place were very nice, and valued privacy. Five star stay all the way.
