Clean and great staff. Nikita at the front desk was wonderful. The service was amazing throughout the whole property. It was clean and the location was great. They did offer a shuttle service that took us into town. The driver was very accommodating.

Loved this place, the villas are beautiful and stocked with everything you need. The beachfront is clean and there is a walkway that goes over the water to a bar and sitting area. The 2 pools are clean with chairs and tables around for comfortable seating. But more than that...

Loved this place, the villas are beautiful and stocked with everything you need. The beachfront is clean and there is a walkway that goes over the water to a bar and sitting area. The 2 pools are clean with chairs and tables around for comfortable seating. But more than that they have a shuttle that goes into town and back every hour. Book a restaurant reservation and they will drive you and to and from. There is a concierge for booking tours and they pick you up right at the villa. They also pick you up at the airport and return you at the end of your stay. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend

Beautiful Resort! The hotel is beautiful, the villa that we had was awesome, the staff is so kind and friendly, the food is amazing!!! It was so relaxing to lay on the beach and read, then later in the day take a dip in the pool with a few cocktails....

It was so relaxing to lay on the beach and read, then later in the day take a dip in the pool with a few cocktails. We loved this resort! It’s in walking distance of the Village too!

My husband and I just returned from an amazing stay at Chabil Mar in Placencia. The resort has beautiful landscaping and ocean views. Lots of coconut palms and tropical plants and flowers. Hummingbirds everywhere! Our room was spacious and wonderfully decorated with local art. Comfortable bed and nicely stocked kitchen....

My husband and I just returned from an amazing stay at Chabil Mar in Placencia. The resort has beautiful landscaping and ocean views. Lots of coconut palms and tropical plants and flowers. Hummingbirds everywhere! Our room was spacious and wonderfully decorated with local art. Comfortable bed and nicely stocked kitchen. But the best part of this resort is the wonderful staff! Vilma kept our room sparkling clean and greeted us each morning with a smile while delivering the daily newsletter and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. Deshaun and Donnis kept the good vibes and good drinks flowing out on the palapa-covered pier. Everyone we encountered at the resort had a smile and a “good morning” to share. The resort is close enough to walk into the village, but I would recommend a golf cart (which can be rented right at the resort for a reasonable fee) for convenience-and fun! We did not take part in any excursions since we just wanted to relax and take in the tropical locale, but other guests seemed very pleased. The food was excellent and could be delivered to you anywhere on the resort grounds. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Chabil Mar, for such a wonderful relaxing vacation!

This was our 2nd time staying at Chabil Mar and we loved it just as much as the first. The villas are beautiful with large terraces, so spacious and well-stocked with extremely comfortable beds and excellent linens. Excellent on-site food and drinks that they will deliver to you anywhere on the property you request. The gardens are immaculate and lush. Location to us is perfect. Just on the edge of the village. Takes 5-7 minutes to get to the Placencia sidewalk when you walk along the beach. Shuttles run regularly from 4 pm to 10 pm so you can grab one from anywhere in Placencia to return you to Chabil Mar. Best part is the staff - they bend over backwards to help you with anything you need. Smiling, helpful and professional. Top notch all around. We will be back!

Belize was hands down our best ever vacation and Chabil Mar met every expectation we had from having a personalized chalkboard welcome note on arrival to the friendly shuttle driver at departure! One of our favorite Chabil Mar experiences was dining at our chosen location each meal, from our villa’s dining room table , our porch tables , the beach and the pier we just loved the cozy feel of not going to a restaurant like all of our other all-inclusive travels! Staff took care of every detail for our excursions and the excursions were exceptional, not a single disappointment in the beauty of our surroundings, the friendliness of the people and the array of wildlife we saw. Housekeeping kept our rooms clean, the bar and wait staff kept our cups full and the groundskeepers keep the beach clean and the greenery amazing. We did have an issue with patio lights being on all night and making sleep difficult but when we presented our concern the staff immediately made things right. I really appreciated that we had a washer and dryer in our room, ample seating options on our porch and comfy beds. We cannot say enough good things about Chabil Mar, it was above and beyond what we expected , the staff was phenomenal. We definitely would love to go back.

The hospitality was next level, and you could tell they genuinely cared about making the experience a memorable one. We stayed at Chabil Mar Villas for one week in September. Come to find out September is their low season so, we had the resort almost exclusively to ourselves. We stayed in Villa 11 which is close to the bar and one of the two pools. The room was equip with everything you would need. We had a king size bed, full kitchen, ocean view and a wrap around deck. Umberto and Omar were our bartenders for most of the week. They both could make excellent drinks and were very attentive to us. The concierge was very helpful in making our arrangements for our tour of the Monkey River and the rental of the golf cart. Lacho was the shuttle bus driver for us and showed us all around the town of Plascencia. He gave us recommendations for good restaurants to visit. The staff at Chabil Mar Villas are all very attentive and try to make you feel like you are at home. The resort does not have a dedicated restaurant for you to go and eat in. They will bring your food to any place in the resort for you to enjoy. The beach at Chabil Mar Villas is not the best. There are big slippery rocks at the edge for erosion control. So it is a bit difficult to get into the ocean. The water is very warm but not clear at all. So we spent most of the time in the pool. The pools needed some work but, they will be working on them while they close down for one month. I would definitely recommend this resort for how well the staff treats you. Oddly put together place. They say most people come for a week. However the "villa's" are huge and setup for more like a two month stay with a full gorgeous kitchen and mega deck. Also they do not have a restaurant. You call in to order your meals and they deliver it to you. Felt like you were ordering thru a drive thru. Food was average at best. They give you a ton of it, just nothing special about any of it. Staff was friendly and helpful.
