This hotel was wonderful . We very much enjoyed our stay . The receptionist at the front desk , Kimberly , was super nice and very accomodating . The beds were good , the room was clean and comfortable . The breakfast was awesome as well and well worth the extra charge . We would definitely stay here again .

We enjoyed a bottle of cava that was a gift from booking with Expedia. Our server was Astrid, at the Bistro in the hotel. She was terrific!! Not only did she present our sparkling wine nicely in an ice bucket, but she helped with recommendations for other places to eat...

We enjoyed a bottle of cava that was a gift from booking with Expedia. Our server was Astrid, at the Bistro in the hotel. She was terrific!! Not only did she present our sparkling wine nicely in an ice bucket, but she helped with recommendations for other places to eat on various nights we're here in Panama City. She surprised us with a berry cheesecake upon learning we recently celebrated our 50TH wedding anniversary !! Thank you Astrid, for making it a delightful time with you as our server!!!

The food and drinks were excellent. Maria Ortega and the staff were some of the best we’ve had in Casco Viejo. From the moment we sat down Maria was attentive with our requests and she anticipated all of our needs. We will be back to the Central Hotel Panamá!

Went to the rooftop restaurant AMB Sabor and was waited on by Maria Ortega. She was fantastic, very attentive and provided excellent advice on the menu. The food was some of the best we have had in Panama and the presentation was amazing. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel in Casco Viejo. Very convenient to restaurants, coffee shops and lots of siteseeing. We stayed in a suite and the room was large with a nice balcony looking over Plaza Mayor. Small pool area and it does have a spa although we did not get services there. There are several restaurants but again we would recommend exploring the neighborhood as there are some great places out of the hotel. Would 100% stay there again instead of the casino district in the more modern part of the city. That was fine but the atmosphere here was much better.

I chose this hotel due to the location. It sits on a beautiful plaza in the "old" section of Panama City near the water. It was centrally located to access the tour attractions such as the Panama Canal. We had the hotel collect us from the airport and the driver was multi-lingual and very informative. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by a beautiful staircase and entry. As our stay progressed, we learned so much about this hotel that played such a pivotal part in Panama's history. (There was so much pride conveyed by the people who worked there, and each one was a bit of a "tour guide" with interesting tidbits on the history). Our room was spacious and very nicely appointed and quiet. Comfortable bed and pillows with nice linens. We received a couples massage at the spa and while small it was also well appointed and lovely. The buffet breakfast had a wide variety and the food was good. There were many good restaurants within walking distance.

Stayed 2 nights. Excellent service, great location, room clean. The staff extremely helpful ant competent. Breakfast as one can expect from a 4 Star Hotel. Had also one dinner at the hotel. The food was fresh made and the portions pretty big, too big for me. The switches for the electricity is a bit of a challenge if you are not a engineer you may end up with no lights in th bathroom :-) Will sure come back

We stayed here for three nights. Lovely hotel right in the middle of Casco Viejo in Panama City. We got taxi to Miraflores to see the Panama Canal which took about 20 minutes or so. The hotel was perfectly placed also to walk around the old town and do some sightseeing. The room at the hotel was very nice and breakfast offered a lot of choice.

We only spent one night here before our flight out in the morning. Hotel is very central to everything and the rooms were updated and beautifully appointed. We stayed in the financial district for a few nights before that and wish we would have stayed at this hotel the whole trip. Would stay there again if I come back to Panamá City. Thank you!
