We decided to visit Castlemartyr in January so as to give ourselves a chill out night within easy distance of home. Once again, everything was just of a high standard with friendly and helpful staff, superb food in the restaurant and a lovely luxurious bedroom. Thank you for maintaining your wonderful standards giving us a perfect chill evening.

We had an amazing stay, the staff were truly professional but friendly and helpful at all times. Our ground floor bedroom with balcony was a great size with spacious bathroom and excellent shower with great Espa products. The food in Canopy restaurant was truly sublime. I also enjoyed a very relaxing spa treatment. Our only crib was we should have stayed longer. We cannot wait to return!

Thanks to all the wonderful and friendly staff. From the minute we arrived the customer service was outstanding. The room and ensuite is more than what you expect and more. The canopy restaurant and delicious food along with the excellent service provided by Monica. Because of Valentines night the staff snd hotel went above and beyond to make it a special night , including a red rose and complimentary Processo by Paul. ( I think ) It was a lovely touch by Trevor (I think ) the guest relations manager to say hello and check on guests during the meal. As it was my wife's birthday on Valentines night, Happy birthday was sung and a treat with a lighting candle which was a lovely touch. We also ate in the bar which was great and had a few drinks in the really comfortable back rooms in front of an open fire. My wife used the Spa and I used the gym area which was convenient due to the poor weather . Thanks to Gerald for looking after us on arrival with a lovely welcome drink and great service during our whole stay . Thanks to Shannon the reservation manager for taking my booking and remembering my wife's birthday on Valentines day. I had heard great things about this hotel from guests I had taken here , and will do into the future, and everything they said about the excellent and friendly customer service to the delicious food and stunning hotel lived up to my expectations. . This was my first time visiting the hotel and I look forward to visiting again , and I have no hesitation to highly recommend Castlemartyr hotel and its wonderful sraff and overall experience to guests that want a five star experience from the moment you arrive.

We were looking for quiet, relaxing weekend, for our 10th anniversary and that's exactly what we were provided from the management and staff of this beautiful hotel. We have visited many similar establishments over the years,but where Caslemartyr hotel stands out is, it's well trained and happy employees. It proves again and again that happiness of employees is crucial for the level of service they provide. Everyone we encountered with ,starting with Manager Trevor ,was very friendly and ready to accommodate all our requests. We stayed in one of the manor house rooms.Room was nice and comfortable.There was minor issue with heating which was addressed and rectified straight away. Wellness centre was well kept and had great views on the beautiful gardens. Knights bar experience was great too, and we enjoyed very much service and atmosphere in this beautiful room which is probably one of the nicest remnants of the old world in Ireland.Background music was carefully picked to suit environment. Breakfast was included in the rate and it was very good both mornings. Food was of very good standard overall, including little pub which is runned by the hotel. The only thing we would suggest is to keep serving afternoon tea Mondays and Tuesdays too as well as keeping club house open for dining. I can't forget to mention that we got lovely bottle of champagne on the house for our anniversary,as well as substantial discount because of the heating issues we encountered in the beginning which I mentioned was rectified promptly. We very much enjoyed our stay and we will be back. Thank you Sara and Gav

After a very disappointing stay at an alleged 5* hotel in Cork city in October, I can safely say this hotel does not disappoint. Beautiful junior suite with a balcony, excellent art in the walls & exceptional staff. The food is worth the hype and we’ll be back!
