We have just returned from a wonderful weekend staying at the Carlton Cannes. From the moment we walked into to this beautiful, elegant hotel, we were so impressed with all the staff throughout. Our bedroom was bright and spacious with a sea view. The breakfast buffet was magnificent. Overall we loved this hotel and look forward to returning. It’s now our new favourite.

We loved our little stay, everything was magnificent, we particularly appreciated the kindness of the staff, many smiles, they were responsive and professional, we benefited from a free upgrade to a very beautiful room, it was very good , good value and we will come back

This is still the best hotel in Cannes. It is iconic. The experience starts with the valet staff before you even enter the front door, extends to the front desk, staff, all the way up to the room staff. The most significant aspect of the hotel is the service. The staff is extremely competent, and yet open and friendly and helpful. The breakfast is world class, as good as it gets really. And just like the hotel staff, the Restaurant staff were all excellent. My wife and I felt really welcomed and special. It was like the entire staff of the restaurant and hotel had nothing more important in their lives to do than make sure we had a great experience. However, our stay was not 100% perfect. It is an older hotel, and while it has been redone impeccably, some of the resulting rooms are a little bit smaller than they used to be. And, one slight complaint, at the breakfast make sure you ask for your coffee from the espresso machine. Otherwise, they let the automatic machine make it, and it really is not up to the quality of the rest of the breakfast.

Each and every time we have stayed at the Regent Carlton, Canners, we have an amazing experience. The Hotel’s staff have always been friendly, courteous, and professional. The selection of menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner were exquisites.

We stayed at the Carlton a couple of times before the recent renovation and the rooms were definitely tired and dated and in need of refurbishment, but the ground floor lobby area always had a belle epoch charm and a cosy feel. I cannot comment on the rooms as we didn't stay here this time, however, we did twice pop in for an evening drink. Despite the expensive renovation, we found the atmosphere in the lobby to be lacking. The interior decor lacked the cosiness it once had and the refurbishment failed to make the most of the belle epoch features, instead making everything appear to be bland. Music coming from different areas could be heard in the lobby, creating a cacophony of sound - not very relaxing. Service was good, refreshments were fine and the the outside courtyard at the back was very impressive, with a small skating rink and Christmas themes. I am sure that the rooms are now much improved but we never got to see them. We always enjoyed relaxing in the original lobby but the experience is not the same now, at least not for us, which is a pity. For those who didn't see or experience the original elegance of this hotel it may be fine.

Every member of staff deserves the 5 star award all so friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast is always a delight with a fabulous selection from the various serving areas. A good choice of freshly squeezed juices. Eggs freshly coiked to your preference
