There are beautiful resorts in the Caribbean—and then there is Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel, where service and serenity meet in a setting that feels almost dreamlike. From the moment I arrived, the experience felt effortless. At reception I was welcomed with a cool towel before being escorted to a breezy outdoor patio for a refreshing welcome drink. There I met Ngozi, my dedicated villa host, who would thoughtfully curate each day of my stay. While my luggage and rental car were discreetly sent ahead to my room, Ngozi whisked me away in a golf cart to introduce me to the resort and its stunning surroundings. My home for the week was a beautifully appointed king suite with an oversized balcony overlooking the luminous turquoise sea. The room reflected classic Caribbean elegance—light-filled, refined, and inviting—with luxurious Frette robes, Anguillan-style slippers, and thoughtful touches throughout. Waiting on the desk was a small basket of the most delicious cheese puffs I’ve ever tasted. Each evening, turndown service brought a new surprise tucked inside, a small but delightful ritual I quickly came to anticipate. Ngozi’s attentiveness set the tone for the entire stay. He checked in regularly to confirm dinner reservations, arrange spa appointments, answer questions, and coordinate excursions—always present, yet never intrusive. Life at the beach was equally seamless. Each guest is assigned a chaise lounge for the duration of their stay, eliminating the all-too-common scramble to reserve the best spot in the sand. Every time I arrived, my lounger was already prepared with fresh towels and positioned perfectly for a day of relaxation. Beach service, overseen by Joann, was impeccable. Throughout the day, attentive staff circulated with thoughtful offerings—iced tea, sunscreen, frozen sorbets, spiced nuts, and even Painkiller shooters. One attendant in particular, Eulalie, embodied the warmth and generosity that defines Anguillian hospitality. Tireless, gracious, and genuinely attentive, she made every guest feel welcome and cared for. Dining across the property was exceptional, with menus that thoughtfully accommodate gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan preferences. I dined at three of the resort’s four restaurants, but the standout meal of the trip was at Uchu. This Peruvian-inspired gem delivers vibrant, beautifully balanced dishes that were among the most memorable of the entire vacation. The recently opened spa is another highlight—an elegant sanctuary dedicated to relaxation and renewal. My massage experience included additional facial treatments and luxurious skincare products at no extra charge, elevating the experience into something truly indulgent. All of this unfolds along one of the most breathtaking beaches in the Caribbean—powdery white sand meeting impossibly clear turquoise water. By the end of the week, the hardest part was leaving. Cap Juluca offers not just a vacation, but a rare sense of tranquility and care that lingers long after departure. I cannot recommend this extraordinary resort—and its exceptional staff—more highly. I feel fortunate to have experienced it and look forward to returning.

Serenely beautiful property. Gorgeous pristine wide white sand beach, great rooms, great food, seriously inventive bar talents. Lots of walking to and from, to stay fit, just getting to meals and gym… or using hotel bikes (freely available to ail). The huge breakfast buffet is amazing, such variety! All the food quality was so good, no reason to explore the rest of the island. We had more windy weather than would have been ideal, but no matter. The Shack, a seemingly authentic rustic island hideaway joint (w some legendary festive drinks i can’t quite recall), was a casual bar /lunch place at the far end of the beach. It was the perfect contrast to the full service restaurants. The 6 pm “Sabrage” where guests slice off the glass top off a champagne bottle w a sword was fun, and the complimentary champs quickly made fellow guests into friends. All the staff were well trained, not grumpy nor too friendly, and incredibly anticipatory for our needs. A discreet button you can push brings full service to your beach chaise! The impactful flavors of the Peruvian restaurant were a real surprise, we went there twice in 6 nights.

We spent 5 nights in a junior suite and it was paradise. Our room opened up onto a gorgeous patio that was just steps from our personal beach chairs. The beach is spectacular and relatively private. The service is top notch. Every person we encountered was beyond friendly and everybody knew our names. The service at the beach was fabulous. The guys all worked so hard and anticipated anything we could have possibly needed. The restaurants were all very good and the service was excellent. We had the most relaxing stay ever and will definitely be back.

This was our second time visiting this resort. The location is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There have been many improvements since our stay last year. The rooms are spacious and all are beachfront. The three restaurants on site are all great. Excellent place to go for a relaxing break. The gym is one of the best i have seen at a resort of this size, and they plan to put in two pickleball courts and one Padel court. Worth a look.

In nearly 24 years of marriage, and having visited fabulous resorts and places throughout the world, Cap Jaluca is the very first resort that had me and my wife actually relax and chill for an entire week. The place is so unique, with our large, well furnished room steps away from a wonderful patio looking at to the beach and ocean, and literally 50 steps away from the beach, where our private lounge chairs and umbrellas awaited us. The spa was amazing, the restaurants were terrific, in particular Pimm's, and the breakfast - which is included, whether off the menu or buffet - was great. Our personal Concierge, Evan, was amazing and attentive to every need, question and requested recommendation. The Beverage Manager, Chris, was the lifeblood of the resort, always with a smile and a laugh. The champagne popping and toast at evening in the lobby at 6 pm was a must for us almost every day. He was such a pleasure. We loved it, and can't wait to go back next February.

This is an expensive hotel. But the value provided in terms of the facility, the room overlooking the beach, the immaculate setting on the bay, the dining, and the service made it a great investment. Anything that creates a hassle at a hotel doesn't happen at this one. Ever have your room cleaned twice a day? It's routine at this hotel. If you are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, book at least 5 days in a room at this property. Spend the money. You won't regret it.

Although I did t stay here for an evening, I was shown around and got to spend an evening at the bar, after chilling on the beach. The hotel is idyllic First thing that hits you is the neat private drive. You are met by security at the barrier, simply keeping an eye open for undesirables. From that moment on, the staff simply cannot do enough for you. The grounds, bars, resting rooms, library and restaurants ouse class and sophistication. They have a cool champagne opening event most nights at 6 pm. Where you are invited to pop a cork with an old sword/dagger and thats fun all round. Great to see such elegance available on the relaxed unhurried Island of friendship ✅🙏

We traveled to cap Juluca for a great takeaway and nothing was great like this hotel our room had a great balcony where we came out everyday and saw the (Maundays bay they called it best beach there is) beach service was top tier excellent. Some guy came with facial spray and sweet grapes they were delicious. The star of the show was Daqwan he is the best. he made us the best cocktails at the beach. Was very professional and attentive. He checked in at great times because my fiancé was always on the phone. To make sure our drinks were never empty. He’s a very knowledgeable guy about literally everything Made sure got our food order right because unfortunately we have allergies. Personality was A+ And he overall made the stay worth remembering his service was top tier. Also clarone was cool also. Cips was great our server Richelle was awesome Walter at the bar is great our room was always kept neat and out overall stay at cap Juluca was the best hopefully I’ll be returning back

My husband and I escaped to Cap Juluca for 4 nights and it was a real treat! The rooms were spacious and well lit! Having reserved beach chairs (which were very comfortable) with unobstructed views was amazing. Service at the beach was very prompt. It was a very quiet, relaxing atmosphere. One day, we rented a Moke to check out some of the other beaches on the island, only to realize that our beach was the most pristine. Restaurants on property were a real treat and the buffet breakfast was delicious. While the spa facilities were underwhelming, the treatments themselves were phenomenal. The staff was very friendly everywhere we went. Our butler, Santo, really made our trip extra special. He made sure we knew he was ready to assist when needed and truly went above and beyond when we needed him most. We certainly plan to return to this property in the future. Perfect resort for couples looking to unwind and re-connect.

Cap Juluca in Anguilla delivers a truly stunning resort experience. The staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and consistently welcoming. The grounds and beach are lush, immaculately maintained, and effortlessly beautiful, creating a serene and luxurious atmosphere. The oceanfront room was breathtaking, and both the accommodations and spa were exceptional and well cared for, reinforcing the resort’s reputation for refined elegance. One standout highlight was the Dining Under the Stars experience, which was absolutely magical. The ambiance was unforgettable, and the live music by our guitarist, Gordon (IG: @indigosaxa), elevated the evening and made it truly special. The only drawback was dining at Pimms. While beautifully situated, the Caribbean/French fusion menu was disappointing and lacked the authentic integration of traditional Caribbean flavors that had distinguished it in the past. Overall, Cap Juluca remains a remarkable destination for relaxation and service, though its culinary experience could better reflect the rich local culture that once set it apart.

Our stay at Cap Juluca was absolutely wonderful. I travelled with my daughter for a well needed reset. The beauty of the resort, the peacefulness and the team truly made it special. The check-in was easy, relaxed, and with a drink in our hand. Perfect! The room was spotless with every detail thought of. Our Villa Host, Sonni, was incredibly attentive without interrupting our experience. He managed every detail of each day, even as we changed plans, seamlessly. Keanu, who works at the pool, saw us looking at the umbrella while we were on the beach ( we thought we could put it up with ease) He went out of his way to come to the beach area to help, running over without hesitation. It was such a small gesture, but it really showed the level of thoughtfulness and care that defines the service here. And a special thank you to Eléonore, the General Manager, for all of your considerations and attention to detail. Every interaction felt personal and sincere. The hospitality at Cap Juluca is truly exceptional, and it made our stay unforgettable.

The staff at Cap Jaluca is so attentive, helpful, and accommodating. The beach and Maundays Bay is are the best water experience we have ever enjoyed. Somehow the water is magical. The attendants on the beach were always available, responsive, and so much fun. The rooms are top notch with either direct beach access or spectacular views from an upper floor.

It was an experience elevated by genuinely exceptional people who made our engagement unforgettable. Exceptional Service The staff at Cap Juluca didn’t just meet expectations. They anticipated our needs with warmth and authenticity. From the moment we arrived, we felt the difference. Staff genuinely welcomed us saying “welcome back home” rather than the typical hotel greeting. It set a tone of comfort and belonging that made Cap Juluca feel refreshingly different from any other resort we’ve stayed at. Deandre, Our Villa Host Deandre was the perfect balance of attentive and unobtrusive. He checked in daily in the most natural way, appearing at the pool, beach, or breakfast with a friendly greeting and thoughtful recommendations. He didn’t just suggest restaurants. He’d tell us specific dishes to order. When our scheduled boat excursion hit a snag, he seamlessly rearranged everything and secured us a better boat for another day. Marisse, Events Coordinator Marisse made my proposal planning effortless and stress-free. She sent videos of potential locations, coordinated with decor and photography vendors, and arranged our beachside celebration dinner. Her attention to detail ensured everything unfolded perfectly. Later during our stay, she left us a hand written note with chocolate covered strawberries. Miguel, Server Miguel, our server for our beachside dinner, was wonderful. He was genuinely friendly and took beautiful photos of us during the meal. Days later, we randomly encountered him elsewhere on property, and he insisted on taking more photos of us. Sheriffa, Front Desk Sheriffa exemplified the resort’s hospitality. When my fiancée got a small cut, Sheriffa personally provided first aid. She also handled our checkout process smoothly, resolved a small hiccup on the bill, and offered to photograph us when she saw us later. Housekeeping & Other Staff The housekeeping team was superb. They were prompt, accommodating to our schedule, and left sweet handwritten notes that added personal touches to each day. On the proposal day, they left a pretty towel swan with rose petals. Also they thoughtfully organized our bathroom items, which we really appreciated. Throughout our stay, we had lovely interactions with pool attendants, spa staff, and beach service team members. Everyone genuinely seemed happy to be there and to help us enjoy our time. Accommodations Our accommodations were stunning. Beautifully designed with classic elegance that felt both luxurious and authentic. The bath products were excellent, and the room was stocked with everything you might need: shoe horn, bug spray, umbrellas, and sparkling water. Beach chairs sat just steps from our door with cold water readily available and a simple button to get beachside service. Property & Atmosphere The property itself struck the perfect balance. It felt quiet and intimate, even though we saw and chatted with other guests throughout our stay. The layout made it easy to walk or bike anywhere on the resort, yet each area felt surprisingly secluded. You could enjoy breakfast with other couples, then walk to your own private slice of beach minutes later and feel completely alone. The views throughout the property are breathtaking: from our room, the event pavilion, breakfast terrace, and the stunning infinity pool by the spa. Dining The included breakfast offered an impressive selection balancing indulgent and healthy options. We mostly dined off-property at Deandre’s recommendations, but our one room service experience was excellent. Prompt, friendly service with menu options from the on-site restaurants. Activities Our snorkeling boat excursion departed directly from the hotel beach, which was incredibly convenient. Overall Experience From the welcome cocktail and cold towel upon arrival to the pre-vacation itinerary and easy WhatsApp communication, Cap Juluca created a seamless, relaxing experience. The staff’s genuine warmth, the resort’s stunning beauty, and the countless thoughtful details combined to give us a magical experience we’ll cherish forever.

My wife and I stayed at the Belmond Cap Juluca for our anniversary. The trip was a 10/10 experience, and we will definitely be back. The property is beautiful, and the beach is on par with the best I've ever seen. Despite what we read in some reviews, the food we had was very good on property, especially the tamales and chicken skewers at Uchu. The Cap Shack was a great vibe with very good food. The service of our villa host and concierge was top notch. I highly recommend a visit!

We stayed at Cap Juluca over Thanksgiving week. It far exceeded our expectations, which were high. It is by far the nicest beach I’ve ever visited. Having your own chairs assigned for the entire trip relieves so much of the stress of having rush down early in the morning to reserve seats. Beach service was top notch. Our villa host, Ngozi, was amazing and incredibly helpful throughout the trip. The recently updated spa was just perfect. The only downside is that it very spread out. This is impossible to avoid since every room is a beach front room, so it is worth it. If possible, try to secure a lower number villa. These are closer to the restaurants and lobby and the beach is a bit better in that area. Also, consider trying to secure a golf cart for your stay. These come for free with one bedroom suites and above and can be rented for a fee (subject to availability) for other rooms.
