Canne Bianche is a member of the small luxury hotel family and it lives up to its standard. This charming, stylish and elegant seaside hotel offers beautiful ground, spa, comfortable room and superb service. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we experienced warm hospitality and genuine care from the team. Every person we met in the hotel was full of passion for their work and aimed to provide their guests with the best service. Dinner and buffet breakfast was excellent. We tried a lot of local products that were cooked to perfection. The spa was beautiful and relaxing. The weather was too cold to use their outdoor pool. The most memorable part of the stay was the cooking lesson with Lena, their wonderful chef. This was a last minute arrangement and I am grateful about their flexibility. Lena taught me to make an orecchiette pasta dish which was fun and delicious. I always take a local cooking class when travelling and this experience here at Canne Bianche was fantastic. If you visit the Puglia region, you have to stay at Canne Bianche. We look forward to a future visit when the weather is warmer. Thanks for the great memory.

Stunningly beautiful property located directly on the Adriatic Sea! We were met with the most personable staff and immediately upgraded to one of two beach front suites - and given a tour of the property by the most lovely Anna! The grounds were filled with abundant and well groomed Puglian plants - which enhanced the already exquisite views. It was easy to access the pool and the sea and go for invigorating swims in both! The beach is small and not conducive to sunbathing, but the Adriatic makes up for it! The room and bath were spacious and provided every amenity. The spa was a welcome and serene relaxation point. The restaurant on site was abundant with the most beautiful foods from the Puglia region. We must compliment the staff for making us feel so welcome and like part of the family.

I wanted to give 4.5 stars. This is a wonderful hotel and we had such a good stay (7 nights). We were in a standard room which was superb and exceptionally comfortable in every way. The whole hotel is spotless and so very tasteful. The pool area is terrific, access to the beach for a walk round the bay if you want. The breakfast choice and quality is perhaps the best we've had in a European hotel. The staff were all exemplary, not only efficient but so helpful and friendly (and this included help before our arrival). The only part that we found slightly disappointing (hence my 4.5 rating) was the quality of the meals for lunch and dinner in the restaurant. It was perfectly fine, hotel type food but given how everything else was exceptional we didn't think the food justified the high prices particularly compared to the local restaurants which the hotel kindly recommended! We would recommend without hesitation. Thank you to everyone for a truly memorable stay.

Beautiful hotel and grounds with the beach literally on your doorstep and a fantastic restaurant. Spa is stunning and has everything you could need - the massage was amazing and worth every euro. Would absolutely return, we have stayed in many places but this is by far the best hotels we have ever stayed in! Cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful and relaxing hotel.

My wife and i celebrated our 10 year anniversary and my 50th B-day with our first trip to Puglia, and had an amazing time at Canne Bianche. From the minute you pull into this quaint resort, you feel at home. The interior decorating is simple, rustic yet elegant. The grounds mirror that style. Even the staff's linen apparel just oozes welcoming comfort. The service is top notch and every member there makes you feel like family. Special shout out some of the good friends we made there -Matteo, Anna, Manuela, Fabio, Marco, Rosella, Vito, Lucio (only to name a few).. Yes, we remember their names bc they felt more like family than our hosts. Every need is met quickly and efficiently, but more importantly with a warm smile making you feel like you aren't just a client, but a guest in their home. The facilities are tremendous from the spa facilities, the rooms, to the pool. No problem getting access to cabana/daybeds every day. Pool is fantastic and clean. The Adriatic Sea is just a few meters out back and the water is warm, turquoise with powder sand beach -we were in it every day. Both restaurants are great, and breakfast is killer. The premier restaurant Autentico has Michelin recognition and it lived up to hype. In fact, despite the many food options in the 5-10 km vicinity, we stayed in 6/10 nights bc of how good and fresh the food and service was. In fact, you will see the catch of the day still alive and flipping for your selection when you enter the restaurant. Can't get fresher than that. Excellent wine list. We are discerning travelers and foodies, and put a premium on high quality food and execution, and it did not disappoint any night we ate there. Overall, can't say enough good things about Canne Blanche. Top notch and we will return. One MINOR drawback- some nights you may get a little nibbled by some pesky zanzare, but a little bug spray on the legs which the front desk can provide resolves that issue and is absolutely NOTHING to diminish or deter the experience here. If you want to go out and not rent a car, the staff will happily arrange transportation if you need. A car rental is good options and will save you some cash, however, if you, like me, are a fan of a fat Negroni and some vino with lunch/dinner, stick with getting a ride arranged for you. Ask them to hook you up with Giuseppe who is a local transport provider there and one hell of a nice guy. Also, the hotel is a decent spring board location to do day trips or nights out in local towns to visit like Cisternino, Alberobello, Ostuni, Polignano di Mare, etc. We look forward to our next stay at the CB!

We stayed at this hotel for a week’s summer holiday. Note that the hotel is about a 20-25 minute walk along the road to Torre Canne, a small, quiet town. There is little to nothing close to the hotel, except for a very nice restaurant called Dubonnet, which we actually preferred over the hotel restaurant for evening meals. The hotel offers plenty of parking if you drive, and also has electric bikes available if you don’t fancy walking. Upon arrival, you’ll find the hotel subtly nestled away from the main road behind locked gates, surrounded by traditional Italian grounds. The hotel is small, with around 50 rooms. It is whitewashed, with many rooms and all public areas on the ground floor. Upstairs are just rooms, while downstairs houses the spa and gym. Rooms: We booked a suite with an outdoor plunge pool. It was very spacious and nicely appointed, featuring a large walk-in shower, bath, dual sinks, sofa, two TVs, a comfortable bed, drinks cabinet, Nespresso machine, and kettle. The room was well maintained, and housekeeping was excellent. The Wi-Fi, however, was flaky in the rooms, and there was no view, which was a downside. Gym: The gym was more of a cardio room and was hardly used as it was very hot with little to no air conditioning. We didn’t use the spa facilities. Public Areas: The main public areas were well maintained and nicely decorated, offering a very relaxing feel with more than enough space for all guests to avoid feeling crowded. There were sofas inside and a lounge area where roofs could be pulled back. Pool: The pool was a decent size but cold, with a large pool for children. There were nice sunbeds, all with umbrellas, and they were not crammed together. Some were by the poolside, and some were on the lawn overlooking the sea. There is no beach at the hotel, but you can walk out the back of the hotel to the sea and along to the beach, which was really crowded. The pool staff were very helpful, providing towels and moving umbrellas and beds around for you. The hotel has two restaurants: a large indoor one for breakfast and dinner, and a smaller outdoor one for lunch. Both are well decorated. Breakfast: Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of staff to clear tables and serve coffee to order. The spread was lovely, offering everything you could ask for and more. Everything was fresh, including eggs made to order, breads, cakes, pastries, fruit, cooked items, and cereals. You never felt rushed. If the weather was nice, you could sit outside, but sitting inside was just as pleasant. It was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve ever had. At this point, we would have happily given 5 stars, but the food for lunch and dinner was a let-down. Lunch: For lunch, you could either order room service or eat at the smaller outdoor restaurant. The menu consisted of fish, pizzas, and some meat. If you fancied salads or fruit, there was nothing available, and the menu never changed. By day four, we were struggling. The poolside menu offered only a fruit platter or focaccia, and nothing else. This was tough as there were no local restaurants to go to. Dinner: The evening meals were similarly disappointing, with heavy food. I tried the steak tartare, which was bland. Another guest complained about the steak. I found the pizzas to be sloppy, especially in contrast to the varied and much nicer pizzas we had in some local towns. We also visited Dubonnet, which I highly recommend. We found other hotel guests there who felt the same; the food was much nicer and tastier. To top it all, one night after a poor meal, the hotel’s restaurant manager (Ottario) was sitting at the restaurant desk with his head resting on his hand and asked, “You don’t like the pizza?” I explained the issue, and he shrugged his shoulders, which I found rude. When I confronted him about being rude, he just responded with “ok.” On our last night, another guest also complained and received the same response. Hopefully, the restaurant will take notice and allow someone to review the menu and food, giving this hotel the 5 stars it truly deserves. That said, all the staff, with the exception of Ottario, were very polite, friendly, and always ready to help. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t return due to the location and the lack of food options.

A stunning hotel with a great restaurant and wonderful staff. We loved this place from the moment we walked in - it's elegant, relaxing and feels rather special. It's right on the sea although when we were there it was too windy to take a dip! We walked one night into the local town and went to the restaurant the hotel recommended which was AMAZING! It's a MUST! Our room was a classic and we were on the first floor. We had a couple of issues - the aircon didn't work properly so the room was SO hot! We were told it was fixed but on the second night it was even worse so we ended up swapping rooms at 3am! The hotel gave us a bottle of wine to say sorry which was a nice gesture. It was a bit stressful but it didn't spoil our stay!

The hotel is small and cozy, beautifully decorated and impeccably maintained. Our room was spotless, and the grounds/pool were well-manicured and picture-ready at all times. We loved the tranquil, beach vibe! However, what really set this property apart was the service...it was absolutely OUTSTANDING! Every member of the staff was friendly, helpful and we appreciated the "little things" that they did to make our stay more enjoyable (bringing a purse hook to the breakfast table, providing a little cooler with bottled waters by the pool, treats in our room each night, etc.). They did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome. The location of the hotel was good for exploring the Puglia region. We did longer day trips to Matera and the southern beaches, but easily went to dinner in Polignano, Monopoli and Torre Canne (25 minutes or less by car). We enjoyed a number of excellent meals at the hotel, (though we did wish the hours of operation in some of the restaurants would have been longer). Favorites included the pizza and seafood salad in the beachside restaurant, the pastas and desserts at the main restaurant, and the breakfasts each morning with fresh-squeezed juices, delicious pastries, and omelet/egg station. The traditional Apulian fare was delicious at the Wednesday night festival, and would recommend attending it if it is available during your stay. The drink/wine menu was good, and overall the prices were not unreasonable at all. There is a lovely view of the sea, but while you can access the beach, there really isn't an area directly in front of the hotel to set up camp. There is a busy public beach area that was fun to walk by, but we spent most of our time by the pool. We didn't have a hard time finding seats and the staff was always willing to help adjust umbrellas or create shade on hot days. There are cabanas, chairs with umbrellas near the pool, and chairs on the grass overlooking the sea. When we vacation, we usually don't spend too much time at the hotel, opting to spend our time sightseeing and eating off-site. However, we enjoyed our time so much at Canne Bianchi, that we spent far more time at the hotel than we had anticipated. It is a charming and relaxing destination, and we highly recommend this hotel!

From the moment we arrived at this hotel everything was perfect. Matteo greeted us, took our luggage and made us comfortable with a drink whilst check in was performed. We were then shown to our clean, very well equipped bedroom. This remained beautifully clean due to the excellent housekeeping staff. The restaurant was excellent, fresh fish and pizzas were always available and breakfast had everything you could wish for. All the staff were very friendly and attentive, Bina in particular stood out. The bartenders gave great service and advice on local wines. The swimming pool is a great size and was surrounded by numerous loungers and seating areas. The pool guys did a great job moving parasols etc. It was a pleasant change to not see people reserving beds from early morning. Reception organised a hire car for us and even parked it on our return each afternoon. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful which contributed to what was a fabulous holiday. We have already booked for next summer!

Like many of the other reviews we too would like to give this hotel 7 stars if we could. From the minute you drive through the gates you realise that this is a very special hotel. We were greeted personally and shown to our lovely room and then around the hotel. We were given a welcome drink with the most amazing snacks which incidentally you get with every drink you have in the hotel. Breakfast is superb, everything is fresh and delicious and the ricotta cheesecake is to die for. There is an egg station where the chef will make you any egg you like and the variety of foods is vast. The staff throughout the whole hotel are simply amazing, nothing is too much trouble for them. I would like to mention Matteo behind the front desk, Manuila in the restaurant, Daniele by the pool and Andrea the bellman. They were all so helpful and friendly and really look after you as do all the other members of staff. The hotel itself is beautiful and the little finishing touches everywhere are what makes this hotel so very special. The pool area is very pretty and the sun beds and cabanas are so comfortable and the pool itself was large and well maintained. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to come back very soon.
