Excellent services, especially Julius, attentive concierge, Roberto, Helder and team. The Marguita restaurant received a low rating, as the service was poor, they lost the tradition they had previously achieved with the old Pavillon. The rooms were adequate for what they were paid for, such as the Junior Suite. It is difficult to grant an upgrade, but it seems to be an international policy when accommodations are made during times of high guest flow. The breakfast was adequate for a five-star hotel, with nothing new. The location was excellent, and the overall standard was in line with the hotel's proposal, elegance and sobriety.

What was even better was the extremely high level of service that made us feel like loved and cherished guests. We spent every afternoon in le Hall having cocktails. Our greeting by the charming host was like that of a long lost friend.... he was excited to see us. All service was a 10 plus. This hotel is what made our trip to zurich so special.

Baur au Lac may well be the best hotel in the world. Every visit is a treat. The staff, the accomodations, the entire property are spectacular. The attention to every detail is extraordinary. What a treat is is to stay there. Thank you to the staff.

This is one of the true hotel gems of the world! The rooms are gorgeous and well appointed...extremely comfortable bed and best of all, quiet. The restaurant for breakfast was divine as was Baur, where we had drinks and dinner. The location is ideal as you don't need a car to get around Zurich. The neighborhood is lovely, adjacent to the lake and fine shops. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

The best hotel, at least in Zurich. Best service, best food and what is the most important- best staff, who always ready to help you with any tasks you may have. I recommend this hotel for those who really want to have a great time in Zurich city!

Wonderful hotel, ideally positioned between lake & the city. Lovely breakfast, just can't fault it. Rooms are well appointed with extremely comfortable bed. Restaurant/Cafe are very nice with lovely views. Have stayed here 4-5 times & we'll be back next year to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.

Baur au Lac is sumptuous and superb!!! Lovely hotel with most comfortable bedding imaginable! Situated right at the prime shopping district, the Hotel is perfectly suited for the discerning traveler. Also greatly enjoyed the Terrace restaurant. Beautiful spot for splendid gastronomy. We loved our stay!

This is an exquisite hotel in an upscale and expensive city. I loved the decor and the lobby. The staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The hotel has a beautiful garden with their own beehives, providing the hotel with delicious honey. There is an excellent garden restaurant with gourmet food and a place where you can see and be seen by an ultra chic clientele. The hotel is steps away from all the luxury designer stores and the nearby the ferry that will take you on a spin on Lake Zurich- a fun and pleasant experience. I can't wait to go back to Baur Au Lac.

I stay at 5 star hotels a lot and have high expectations - but our stay in Zurich at baur au lac set a new standard. The hospitality of the staff is unsurpassed and culinary options were perfectly prepared. Loved the hotel and the location is perfect for seeing the city. I can’t say enough good things about our stay - we hated to leave but this is our go to place in Zurich from now on.
