My wife and I did not have hot water for the whole two days we stayed at this hotel. I was told the first day by the front desk, one of the hot water heaters was not working and would be fixed. The next day we still did not have hot water and was told by the front desk, we try to rig it, but, guess it didn’t work. Seriously, this was unacceptable. The front desk, then told me they could give us a 20% credit for the two days without hot water, but that was the best they could do. I asked to speak to the General Manager, however, was told, there was not one working this weekend. Unbelievable! When a hotel has marked-up their pricing 60% for the last weekend of December you would think, you would at least be able to talk to the GM , when you can not take a HOT shower or get into the safe, that by the way not working either and I was told(by the front desk) would need to be rest. I asked if, there was another room available, and were told they were sold out. But, then, I found out they did not have any more suites but did have other standard rooms. Could they have not let us make that decision ourselves to move to a regular room and be able to take a shower? This Hotel experience was as, if, I stay at Motel 6. I will add, the front desk person was nice but told me the GM would not do anything else for us. I believe we should have had a least one night free or have asked us, if we would like to move to a room with hot water.

4. 5 Star is my real rating. Stayed at this hotel for a last minute getaway, and got one of the last rooms for the weekend. We were put in an ADA compliant room. The room had towel bars and light switches were at heights that could accommodate wheelchairs. That worked out perfectly well once we were used to that. The room had a mini fridge, fluffy towels, writing desk and chair, loved the hooks on the wall, and open shelving along with the hanging bars in the closet. In a hurry I forgot my soap and shampoo and the ones provided worked well. The breakfast was in a light and airy room with all the usual breakfast foods expected at this type of hotel. The hotel offered a great night time 9pm-11pm soft serve and dessert opportunity. We took advantage both nights. The property was not on the main strip so parking and noise were not an issue. The only negative was the noise from the room doors and hallway doors made a lot of noise when they closed. The noise up and down floors was not noticeable at all. The front desk staff were quick and efficient. Coffee and tea available all day.
