I am not sure where to begin except to say that I am truly sad to leave Awasi today. I have never experienced the kind of hospitality that we experienced here. From the first moment of airport pickup to the very last goodbye, we felt thoroughly taken care of and welcomed, and exceedingly well fed. Every person in our stay was kind, courteous, and personable, with their own unique personality. First of course, our guide Tomás was incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated, taking us to the best spots through insane snowy weather, sharing the geological and cultural history of the region, and looking fervently on every drive for that ever-elusive puma. He brought extra soup on our hikes, had an easy sense of humor, and was always early for every pickup. We felt very attached and sad to leave. Then the lodge staff. Wow. I am sad to not bring them with me. Gabriela’s warmth and enthusiasm for teaching us about the wines of Chile was infectious. Fabricio always greeted us with a friendly smile, and Rafaelo’s friendliness (and awesome musical talents) were so lovely. Seriously Awasi should put Rafaello and his band on rotation at all their lodges from Patagonia to Iguazú to Atacama! Nacho’s cocktails were creative and balanced, and some of his cocktail pairing creations were frankly out of this world. And Annie, what an incredible server - you can tell she is the type that doesn’t suffer fools. We loved the managers as well - Zaith and her zest for life and self discovery, and Cata’s down to earth jokes and hospitality. I have never learned so many names at a place I stayed and it’s because each of them was so thoughtful and personal in their approach to making our stay comfortable. The thing that makes Awasi a perfect stay is that they aren’t trying to do too much. So many places are trying to deliver ‘luxury’ with lots of over the top furnishings and instagrammable gimmicks. Awasi sticks to the fundamentals and does them exceedingly well: 1) Incredible service. It felt like little elves were always waiting to make sure our fireplace was lit, our bed was freshly made, and our every need and request was addressed. 2) Outstanding food. Every breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack was delicious. We have certainly tried our fair share of tasting menus and Michelin stars, and the flavors and creativity here definitely impressed us. Even the midday comfort menu salads and pastas were delightful — everything with excellent ingredients and prepared to perfection. 3) Beautiful room. Elegant lodge. The choice to go wherever you want rather than join a group tour. Everything Awasi focuses on is the right thing and they don’t bother trying to impress with frufru stuffy high-brow details that don’t matter. They focus on actual hospitality, where you feel warm, welcome, at home, and elevated whether you arrive in donning a designer outfit or are wind blown and ruggedly dirty from a day out in the park. The fireplace and hot tubs are lovely, individual needs tended. Awasi has added just the right extra things, and none of the useless fluff. You are there to enjoy the landscape, each other, and excellent food, and they deliver it all with friendly gusto. I simply can’t speak highly enough of this experience - not only would I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone traveling to Torres del Paine, I would recommend that someone looking for an incredibly hospitality experience consider Torres del Paine simply with the goal of visiting Awasi. It is simply that good. By the time you consider what you are getting - the private and well tended room with a view, a private dedicated driver and guide, multi course gourmet meals with unlimited wine pairings, the little luxuries, etc., we actually felt that that high cost is some of the best we have spent on any of our trips. We would make the long trek to the end of the world again simply to stay at Awasi - it was absolutely worth it. With love and appreciation, Emma & Hardeep

We recently spent a week here and it was an all round exceptional experience. Chilean Patagonia is one of the most special places we have ever been. Awasi is perfectly situated and wonderfully managed. Highly recommended and one of our favourite places we have ever been lucky enough to visit.

It’s hard to exceed my expectations. But Awasi managed to do just that from the moment our guide, Christian, picked us up and brought us to Awasi. The location is unmatched. As the other reviews describe, You are headed to something incredibly remote but that was the essence of the charm. The roads in and out are bumpy—a little too bumpy for my husband. But the hosts did everything to try to make the journey more comfortable for him, from pillows to hot-water packs. At each step of our journey, they went above and beyond to make the trip special for us. Words can’t really describe the whole experience. Christian did a wonderful job accommodating the different activities and interests my husband and I had and connected with each of us personally. He had a wealth of knowledge of the landscape, the animals, the history of the region, and life itself. The journey was as much of a spiritual experience for us as well as a vacation. The meals were also truly memorable. They made delicious vegetarian meals for me and met the needs of my husband, who prefers simple dishes. Diego, Valencia, Annie, and everyone who worked to remember our likes and dislikes and went the extra mile to accommodate us, even building a special tasting menu on our last night to help us celebrate our 10-year anniversary for this year. They even saved our favorite table for dinner. We were moved beyond words. Any negatives people are pointing out in the reviews are petty. You have to work hard to find anything negative about the place. The main lodge is a little walk from the villas, but the whole experience is remote. I like walking and hiking, which is why I went to Patagonia. But if you can’t take the walk, they have people who will pick you up in your villa and drive you to the main lodge. They’ll even bring meals to you, but I don’t recommend that because the meals are an experience you don’t want to miss. We even had a miscommunication about whether massages were included in the price and worked out a compromise. This misunderstanding didn’t remotely blemish the experience though. It was all worth every penny. I’ve never experienced anything like it. We wish we had kept more cash on hand to give tips at the end. I think that’s our only regret besides having to end our time there. Thank you, Awasi team, for the experience. We left a piece of our hearts there forever and hope to return.

My husband and I recently spent 5 nights at the Awasi Patagonia. It was excellent in every way, particularly the attention to detail. We were met at the airport by our guide, Pablo, who remained with us throughout our stay. Pablo spent time reviewing everything including the history of the area, our food preferences, and our options for excursions. Together, we crafted a plan for our time. Every morning, Pablo would greet us with the car shiny and clean, no matter how much mud (or river!) we had driven through the day before. One of the many important qualities that an experienced guide like Pablo provides is extensive knowledge of the area and options. When we wanted an easier hike or a shorter day, Pablo was quickly able to pivot and offer up several ideas. He was an integral part of what made our stay so special. We left not only with memories of our amazing experiences, but also with a new friend. The resort is exactly as pictured in the photos provided by management and other travelers. Our villa was spacious and comfortable. Pablo would radio ahead to the resort so that upon our return, the hot tub would be ready for a late afternoon soak (really quite wonderful after a day of hiking). Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. I especially appreciated Carlos, the restaurant manager, who met every request. I tend to be a fussy eater, so was worried about having limited options. While the menu I was presented with each evening was small, each dish offered was in accordance with my likes and dislikes. My husband would receive a different menu tailored to his. We learned from a family traveling together that all 4 of them had different diets/restrictions and so received 4 different menus each evening. Truly remarkable and personalized service. The only (minor) areas that could use a bit of improvement are the gift store and the walkway to our hot tub. The gift store had an extremely limited selection of items and sizes. If you want to bring back a small present for someone, plan on shopping at the airport. (Note that the resort is in a remote location, which we loved, but may not be for everyone). There is a short path to the hot tub from the bathroom door in the villa. It would be nice if there were stepping stones vs mud so that shoes were not required to get to the tub and back.

‘Perfect’ is the only word that really does justice to the Awasi Patagonia. Our Villa was a home away from home but with the best mountain view you could possibly imagine. What makes this place truly special though is the team that runs it and the personal touches. From reception to guests relationship, the waiters, and the excursion team, everyone at the Awasi is exceptional in their own way while sharing the same common qualities: warm, kind and thoughtful. Our guides Nico and Carlos gave us the best introduction possible to Patagonia and were the perfect match for us. Nico helped us discover the Patagonian wildlife and Carlos, who was really patient, sweet, and knowledgeable helped us feel safe on full day hikes and took us to some of the most breathtaking locations of the W circuit. Finally, we have to mention the food/drinks and the service. It was faultless from breakfast to dinner. We had the best time. Thank you, Awasi!

We have just completed an amazing trip staying at all 3 Awasi’s. Each one was different but the same attention to detail, wonderful welcome, gorgeous rooms, delicious food and wine throughout and great guides and excursions tailormade to suit your desires and fitness levels. Awasi Patagonia was probably all in all my favorite, but so hard to choose. Sebastian our guide there went above and beyond and felt like a friend at the end of our 4 days with him. I just wish Awasi had other properties. I would book in a heartbeat.

We appreciate the attention to detail. The snack and drink options were always restocked in the morning and evening. I loved having our tea and coffee water filled and ready. I appreciated having the towels laid out on the floor to keep our feet warm. Thank you for always keeping the outdoor hot tub hot and ready and thank you for starting our fire in our room before we returned from dinner so it was warm and inviting. Finally, thank you for the nightly surprises left in our room! It’s a sweet and simple touch, but it made for a very unique and inviting stay! In conclusion , Awasi itself is in a stunning location! We loved looking at the Torres del Paine towers and the surrounding landscape. Our villa had a comfortable bed and sitting area where we could enjoy the view and read a good book. We also appreciated the yoga mats. A good addition so we could stretch on our lazy days or after our long hike. Thank you all again for creating a magical experience where we felt so taken care of!

My partner and I stayed at the Awasi Patagonia for five nights, and we loved every moment of it. Is it expensive? Yes. But it was SO worth it. The property is stunning. Each villa feels cozy and rustic without sacrificing luxury and comfort. Unwinding in the hot tub after each day's excursion and sitting by the fire, reading a book after dinner, was incredibly relaxing. The food is amazing, from the packed breakfasts for excursions to the fine dining at dinner to the curated cocktails. Each staff member introduced themselves and were friendly and welcoming. It truly felt like everyone cared about our experience. Last but not certainly least, our guide, Tania, was the best! She guided us, made excellent recommendations, educated us about the flora, fauna, and geology, and made sure that we saw everything we wanted to see (and more!). Tania was also very encouraging, and I really appreciated that she kept pace with us even though it must have felt like a snail's pace to her (we're not super in shape, whereas she is). The major highlight for us was seeing Glacier Grey up close. We had a fantastic stay in Patagonia, thanks to all of the Awasi staff! We will be back. :)

For those who do not want to read the entire review..I will open with one sentence..if you are traveling to Chilean Patagonia and are looking for a luxury stay, this lodge should be at the top of your list. Some background...Patagonia has always been on my bucket list as a hiking /outdoor adventure. Both my wife and I are fit (gym 3-4 x's per week), lead a healthy lifestyle, and enjoy the outdoors as part of our vacation. We are "leisure" hikers, day hikes only with us desiring a nice place to stay after an active day. Have not backpacked overnight. We have traveled extensively and hiked numerous National Parks, Switzerland, Italy (Path of gods, Cinque Terre), Costa Rica, the Caribbean, etc. After diligent research, I chose Awasi predominantly due to the personal guide we would receive during our stay with whom we would create a personalized, specific, weather-dependent itinerary. This differed from some of the other luxury lodges in the region where we would be part of a group, albeit a small group; our thinking was we did not want to be subject to the variability in interest and levels of those we would be hiking with. The trade-off is that Awasi is further from the National Park, so our ride in the morning was longer. It was well worth that minor trade-off, as even the journey to the Park was filled with awe-inspiring views. After five nights, four days of 40+ miles hiking, and witnessing what must be described as the most breathtaking wonderfully beautiful region of the world, the choice of Awasi as our home base during this adventure of a lifetime was without question the right choice. Highlights and thanks: -first and foremost to our guide, Fabian: from our first handshake at our pick up at the Puerto Natales airport, through the up to 15 hour days of hiking and exploring, his humor, knowledge, skill, and patience were the crux of our trip. -the setting of this lodge was beyond breathtaking...set on a vast estancia, Tercera Barranca, with panoramic views at every turn, mornings of incredible sunrises, awakenings of horses and guanacos at our windows, Awasi seamlessly and sustainably is enveloped in the Patagonian landscape. -the staff from arrival to departure, from personalized knowledge of our likes and dislikes to their constant attention to detail set this property apart. Thanks to Gustavo for his stories and the management of the property, to both creative and expert bartenders, and to the entire staff that quickly became like friends to say hello to after a long day. A note to the new owners who took this brand and property over in December, 2023- DO NOT change a thing!!! An old saying is, if it's not broken don't fix it.. don't expand, resist the temptation to attract more guests...the appeal and beauty of this property are the personalization, the warmth, and the caring of the staff in an intimate, natural setting. Summary: without hesitation, if you are planning a hiking/outdoor adventure to Chilean Patagonia, and you desire to stay in luxury after days experiencing undoubtedly one of the few remaining places of exquisite beauty left in this world, choose Awasi as your accommodation of choice.

All the staff were friendly and there is aim is to ensure that you have a great time!

Lodge and villas beautifully set, food sometimes a bit too sophistcated, simpler might be better, excursions top, albeit large distances. Beyond the control of Awasi: road constructions will lead to more mass tourism, fewer animal sightings, less attractive.

We could not have imagined feeling more welcomed, more attended to, and more happy. This started with the welcome from management, continued with every single employee we came in contact with, whether restaurant, bar, reception, and we make a special call out to our guide. We worked him very hard. This included 4x 4.30am starts for sunrise to 8.30pm finishes for sunset, venturing out in 100kph winds, and spending over 2 hours hiking around hills to find our lost drone! Our only wish is that you had more locations. We had already decided our next trip in 12 months is to South America so that we can experience Awasi Iguazu. Words are not sufficient to articulate the fond memories Awasi has created for us on our 20th wedding anniversary. Thank you for this wonderful gift that we can reminiscence about for many years

My husband and I kicked off my retirement trip with 4 nights at Awasi in Patagonia before heading to Antarctica. Although Antarctica was fantastic i have to say that our experience at Awasi was even better. The resort is gorgeous with beautiful views of the Torres del Paine towers in the distance. Our villa was so comfortable and luxurious, as was the main lodge and restaurant for all guests. This is an all inclusive resort with all food and beverages provided. The restaurant was exceptional, serving unique and delicious dinners each night at a relaxed pace. On a few days we asked for breakfast on the go and were provided with wonderful options. I have a no dairy preference and the staff created special menus for me each day without butter and other dairy. The wines included were varied, mostly from Chile, and left me wanting to invest in much more Chilean wine for my collection! Dinner each evening included a wine tasting as an option. The sommelier (i believe her name is Julieta?) was so informative and attentive. Natalie the bartender made excellent bespoke cocktails that surprised and delighted us. Antonia was our favorite waitress at dinner - always smiling. The service level at Awasi is what really stood out to us. We have stayed in other high end luxury resorts and some all inclusive but this was the best in terms of friendly and attentive, yet unobtrusive, staff. Cristobal greeted us and was a huge advocate for us with the airlines that lost our luggage. He and his team literally were on calls round the clock to ensure we only had one day without our belongings. Cristobal became one of our favorite people at Awasi. Of course, our personal excursion guide, Christian, was exceptional. Having your own guide to create tailor made experiences just for us and then taking us in our private jeep with all necessary gear (and a lovely picnic one day as well) can't be beat. By the end of our time at Awasi we felt like Christian was a lifelong friend. I really can't say enough about Awasi. If you are hesitant, don't be - it is worth the cost. A few pointers: Torres del Paine is the national park in Patagonia on the Chile side. It is stunning but there is much more to Patagonia than just this park. If you are going to Patagonia with the sole objective of doing to W or O treks, then you should stay inside the park (and not pay for a luxury experience). Awasi is a 40+ minute drive each way to and from the park. However, I would advise that you explore the park and other parts of Patagonia. You should keep in mind that the winds and rain inside the park can be treacherous. You may have a leg of the W on your itinerary one day and need to pivot because climbing steep rock cliffs may not be wise due to unforeseen weather. One of our favorite experiences was at Sierra Baguales - a completely different feel from the park. We enjoyed horseback riding, some hiking and a glorious picnic in this area. If you have your heart set on taking a hot tub soak in an outdoor tub lit by firewood, you will be disappointed. Due to dry conditions open fires were not permitted for the whole season this year. I don't know if that is normal or not. However, we found that we really enjoyed spending our downtime by the fires inside the main lodge with free flowing cocktails and snacks anyway. You should know that there are animals throughout the resort so you need to watch out. There are cows all over that may try to block your path - just ignore them. We saw a skunk one evening on our patio and had to hunker down until it decided to leave us alone. Also we were woken up by a woodpecker of some sort that keep flying into our window early one morning. Of course all this just adds to the experience. I would return in a heartbeat if I go back to patagonia. I also would love to check out the other Awasi properties some day.

My husband and I were incredibly fortunate to spend an entire week at Awasi Patagonia! This was, without a doubt, one of the best experiences of our lives. From the stunning landscape, the AMAZING staff, and the delicious food- we loved every moment. The staff makes you feel special, whether it's remembering your favorite cocktail, packing a few extra cookies on hiking excursions (because our guide knew I loved cookies :)), leaving small gifts in the villa to discover after dinner, or joining me as I cried on our last day. They became a part of our family. I must first start with Miguel, our incredible guide for the week. I could write a million words, but none would truly impart how we felt about this young man. We spent nearly 10-12 hours together each day, and yet we still longed for more. During the ride to the hotel, we discussed our hiking options and he created the perfect itinerary. He was incredibly knowledgeable and I loved that he not only led us along the trail, but also explained the history of the region and pointed out indigenous plants/trees as well as puma tracks. He was attentive and listened to our needs, willing us to stop and take pictures or water breaks. He carried extra cookies in his pack because once I discovered Awasi's homemade cookies, I wanted one for every meal! Outside of hiking, Miguel let us teach him to play Yahtzee during a rainy morning, allowed me to "DJ" during our long rides to and from the park (thankfully we had similar tastes in music), and joined us for room service and a dance party one night in our villa. He became a good friend, and he's someone we hope to cross paths with again in the future. Zaith, the manager during our stay, was such a pleasure to interact with! She always had a smile on her face and you could immediately tell she truly loves sharing the history and culture of Patagonia. Such a kind and passionate person! Diego and Mauricio- the amazing cocktails these two mixologists created were unlike any that we've ever had. We spent nearly every evening before dinner at the bar, watching them create masterpieces and getting to know them. They always greeted us with a smile. Diego provided us with the recipe of a drink he created for Miguel, which I am very much looking forward to recreating at home! The food and wine were also amazing! The menu changed nightly and while it had few options, I never had a problem discovering something unique to try (guanaco tartar). We also loved the packed lunches and soup for the excursions, and we never had the same meal twice. Our villa was spectacular. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. While we didn't spend much time there other than to sleep, it was always a pleasure to return to a freshly-lit fire each evening. Thank you again to our Awasi family for such an amazing experience. We hope that we can return again in the near future!

The rooms are very special- private, spacious and comfortable. We cannot speak highly enough of our experience -the trip of a lifetime with too many special moments and experiences to enumerate. Absolute value for the expense. We stayed 5 nights which felt like the correct amount of time to enjoy everything on offer- we would have missed too much if we stayed for a shorter period. We would give more than 5 stars if we could. All perfect! We will remember this trip the rest of our lives. Thank you
