First two rooms we were shown were dirty, lots of waiting. Comped us champagne and breakfast. All staff were polite and helpful throughout. The dining room receptionist, May Ann, always greeted us directly by name with a beautiful, welcoming smile. And Fedra, server during breakfast, filled the room with her beaming smile, offering assistance in whatever manner she could. She brightens every morning with her contagious joy!

The hotel was in a remote area with nice neighborhood but nothing really to do around as we had to take the public bus every time we needed to go to the city center. They offer a free shuttle to syntagma square every hour , however we were not as lucky because we stayed on the New Year’s Eve and the buss was not operating. And on our last day we took the bus but unfortunately it smelled too bad to bear. The food was very nice on the open buffet. The staff were quite friendly and responsive, however they charged us for the plastic water in the room (which i was never charged for them in any hotel i have ever been) The view was boring and the windows were not to be opened . I expected a better city view The overall experience is okay but not up to the level of other Marriott hotels i have been to in other countries.

We are members of Marriot reward for many years, we decided to stay here for one night, I have to say the beds are always comfortable, but the roof top bar is all locked up and all you see are passing cars and the businesses across the street. The food was good, we had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. I have to admit I felt sorry we did not stay at the Grand Hyatt, it a much better choice.
