It is the staff who put this hotel in a class above others. Without exception, whatever their role, they were welcoming, friendly and helpful. We felt particularly well looked after in the restaurant where we ate each evening. If you are brave enough to eat outside in March during the evening there is a spectacular view of the Acropolis and Parthenon from the 10th floor. Also a swimming pool on the same level where you can relax whilst gazing across at this amazing ancient site. The choice of food at breakfast was extensive and diverse. In other respects the reception areas and rooms meet the standards expected of a 5* hotel.

This is my second stay in this hotel. It is a very nice luxurious hotel. Pretty close to most of the activities and the Placa area and Ermou Street. Walking distance to the Acropolis. The hotel is very modern. The rooms and the bathroom are extremely modern. Very clean. The only issue is the rooms are pretty small. The gym on the premises is small but workable. There is a on-site pool. The rooftop bar and restaurant has captivating views of the acropolis.

From the moment we arrived until our check out, every single member of the staff was pleasant, smiling, and ready to help. We visited after a long, hot and busy season, and there was no sign of “burnout” which can happen in tourism. The hotel was fresh, clean, stylish, modern, convenient, felt safe, and was perfectly located. As a regular Athens traveler’s, we love Syntagma area hotels, and this one will be seeing us again. Salute to management and staff.

We had a wonderful stay at the Athens Capital Center Hotel. It's a superbly run hotel in a very central location, with an extremely welcoming staff. We felt like our every need was taken care of. We particularly liked the rooftop bar and restaurant, with its fabulous view of the city. There's a lovely pool up there as well, with lounge chairs for sunning. The breakfast buffet in the downstairs restaurant was also a very nice treat. We were initially hesitant to book this hotel, because we thought we might want something with a bit more history. But we were extremely happy with our choice. The overall ambiance of the hotel was just right and the personalized service felt truly five star.

Great hotel in the centre of Athens. Loved the rooftop bar/restaurant for the evening view of the Acropolis. We had a suite on the back side (not street facing) of the hotel which was spacious and very quiet. The room also had a modern bathroom and at night we really enjoyed having preset and motion sensor lighting in the suite. The breakfast buffet (which we only had once) was good but pricey as others have noted. We found many ala carte items that were very tasty and more than filling. We also stayed at the GB across the street which is a lovely hotel but for the money I would definitely stay here again instead.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Athens Capital Hotel. The location is perfect; walking distance to a million fantastic restaurants and also to the Acropolis. The location really can’t be beat. The rooftop pool and restaurant is wonderful with a stunning view of the Acropolis. A special mention about our server, Antonis, who was so kind and gracious and made sure our anniversary dessert was lovely. Stay at this hotel if you’re visit Athens!

Great hotel for exploring Athens. Lovely rooftop pool and restaurant. Good rooms and very helpful staff. Gym is too crowded with little floor space. Good cafe in the lobby. Waking distance to Acropolis. Hotel organise good tour guides if you want one.

This hotel is in the center of Athens, convenient to everything. It is a delightful place to stay! Newly renovated & modern, with a wonderful staff. Our room was small (not unusual for Athens) but well designed. Nice modern bathroom. Great location, beautifully done & delightful service
