We stayed quite a few years ago - in 2017 for our honeymoon. We had a fantastic time, it had amazing views from the suite and it was very specious. The cocktails at the bar were fantastic too. Maybe one day we will come back. This place holds special memories for us, thank you.

My wife and I had an amazing experience at Astra Suites for our 25 year anniversary. This is the kind of hotel that you are tempted every evening to skip the fine dining in the area, order room service, and enjoy your suite. Perfect balance between impeccable service and privacy....

My wife and I had an amazing experience at Astra Suites for our 25 year anniversary. This is the kind of hotel that you are tempted every evening to skip the fine dining in the area, order room service, and enjoy your suite. Perfect balance between impeccable service and privacy. The location is ideal for views of the sunset and the caldera. Will definitely stay here when we return to Santorini. A few things to know if considering Astra: 1. We visited Oia one day (the trendy part of Santorini). I would highly recommend avoiding that circus and staying at Astra. 2. Our suite was at the very bottom of the Astra facility and one of the lowest suites on the cliffs in Imerovigli. This provided optimal privacy and didn’t sacrifice at all on the views. Many hotels have suites right on the main walking trail between Fira and Oia. These people seemed super annoyed by the foot traffic and people looking in. (I don’t blame them). All Astra suites are below the trail. 3. With our suite being down the cliffs, be aware of the climbing and steps required. My watch said 13 flights from our suite to the road where our transfers picked us up. The trade off for privacy was fine for us and should be for those physically able. There are no elevators. Plus side, I’m leaving vacation in better shape than I arrived for once. 4. Many of the cliff side suites in Imerovigli and Oia are chic and modern best I can tell. Our suite had a lot more old school charm which we liked. 5. We had a private balcony jacuzzi that was heated. Where ever you stay, I recommend heated pool or jacuzzi. Our hotel on Milos had a private pool that was way too cold to enjoy. Astra has other suites with pools, not sure if those are heated but I would ask unless going in the heat of the summer. We went in September and definitely cools off after dark. 7. In suite breakfast service was a nice touch. Included in the price. Large selection and they were always on time. 8. Special shoutout to the baggage porters of Santorini. The work they do carrying tourists bags up and down the steps is nothing short of remarkable. The Sherpas of Greece. Extra tip$ from me.

Astra Suites in Imerovigli exceeded all our expectations. The location is perfect—offering breathtaking views while being much quieter than the busier spots like Oia or Fira. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by George, who was an absolute delight. The entire staff was knowledgeable and accommodating, making our stay truly special. A special shoutout to Nikos for his amazing cocktails and the great conversations we had with him. We stayed in a junior suite, which we loved, especially for its convenient location right by the pool. While it may not offer as much privacy as other rooms, the proximity to the pool was a huge plus for us. The room itself was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. The food is excellent. From our daily breakfasts, lunch by the pool and the excellent dinner at its onsite restaurant, Five Senses. They even packed a breakfast box for our early departure. We can’t wait to return to this gem of a place!

Astra Suites was the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The entire staff truly cares and is dedicated to making your stay perfect. The hotel is gorgeous and had incredible views of the caldera. There were so many little touches that made Astra Suites stand out as an incredible hotel. The daily cleaning service and turn down service was phenomenal. There wasn’t an inch of the room that was not spotless, even tidying our belongings as needed. Each night we came back to a new little treat in our room waiting for us. The concierge services were amazing, the staff helped me plan transportation to and from all the activities and reservations I had made, and helped me make a few additional ones. From the minute you arrive there is a sense that every staff member knows you personally. The breakfast and room service was also incredible, as is the pool bar! Santorini can be busy and chaotic, but when you’re at Astra you don’t feel any of that. It is a serene corner of heaven. It’s hard to fully articulate just how incredible Astra Suites was, and we can’t wait to go back.

A first glimpse you are on side a cliff with rooms built into cliff. A lot of stairs. After getting used to that what a "wow" place. Views are incredible and service top notch. Food at Five Senses did not disappoint but was expensive. My spouse has mobility issues so walking up/down and along cobblestone made our visit outside of hotel a little challenging so did not see much. However, days at hotel were great. Only about 20 suits total. Other hotels/suites above and below Astra Suites and look like they are all one but dont be fooled these guys do a great job.

We know being in the customer service industry how hard, yet of utmost importance, it is in creating/finding team members who really GENUINELY exude HOSPITALITY. YOU HAVE DONE IT and our experience in celebrating our 25th anniversary together was absolutely MAGICAL. It is one thing to have an incredible setting and backdrop of Santorini from our beautiful room 204....but the FEELING of being in one of the most WELCOMING and KIND environments is really what made our visit SPECIAL. Truly. We always say it starts at the TOP and it is clear you have created a wonderful culture of service at the highest level. Bravo! Anthony, Kate, Aya, (your incredible hardworking bell staff), our lovely housekeepers, Lena and Cindy at Five Senses, and Angelos who was so kind to bring our breakfast each and every morning..... They were all amazing, hardworking and appreciated. (Hope we haven't forgotten anyone!). Please extend our THANK YOU to each of them for their AUTHENTIC care of us. And we are also so grateful to your kind treats upon arrival and for your lovely amenities each night. It is obvious you pay attention to each detail and so we thank you.

If there were more than 5 stars to offer Astra Suites, they would certainly deserve it! From the prearrival communication to coordinate our transport, to requesting a taxi to head out to dinner (and scheduling a taxi ride after dinner - extremely important), to making dinner reservations, wine tasting and a sunset sail, the hotel attendants were eager to please. The bartender is topnotch! We originally met him when we visited Astra Suites on our honeymoon and we enjoyed his cocktail making skills once more. He was always ready with a delicious creation and a warm smile. Now, a moment to speak on the housekeeping staff. I have never experienced such a clean and organized hotel. The cleaning staff cleaned every surface of the hotel twice a day. Our room was turned down twice a day, with lovely surprises. Cannot speak highly enough about our exceptional experiences!

Perfect location, fabulous views, terrific service- from guest welcome to the twice daily room checkups to the hotel pool bar. Added benefit is the hotels restaurant is Fabulous with terrific sunset views. Additionally you’re 200 or so yards from the local “square” where you could get liquor, beer, soda, snacks...

We have traveled for decades all over Europe, and Astra Suites is one of the finest properties we have ever visited. We selected it for its location -- in beautiful Imerovigli, which is not as hectic as Thira or Oia but on the caldera -- and the location delivered, with one of the most spectacular views you can get from a hotel. But everything else was wonderful, too. Our modern and impeccably clean suite was so beautiful -- great views of the caldera from our patio, a private pool, and lots of room. The hotel staff, from the concierge staff to the bartender to the restaurant staff to housekeepers, all were highly professional but friendly -- every time, every day, for the entire week we were there. The restaurant, Five Senses, is one of the best restaurants in Santorini, but room service was also terrific. The concierge staff are well connected with the best car transfer services, restaurants, and tour companies, so we quickly learned to consult with them about everything we wanted to do while in Santorini.

We loved our stay here! The resort was beautiful and the staff was amazing! The food at the resort was also delicious. There are Beautiful views everywhere from the room to the pool and restaurants. If you are looking for a resort in Santorini, We would highly recommend Astra!

Our trip to Astra Suites was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend! We had a lovely premier junior suite that was beautifully appointed, with a wonderful breakfast served every morning on our private deck. The hotel, staff, and service were the best I have experienced after a lifetime of travel. The views from the infinity pool overlooking the stunning Caldera and Skaros Rock are incredible, with gorgeous vistas in all directions and stunning sunsets. A quiet, warm, and lovely place to visit iconic Santorini with no crowds. A special thanks to Aya who helped us plan perfect excursions over many months of emailing, and George, Anthony and Nicos were also awesome. I came to Santorini to celebrate a big benchmark birthday and they all made it so special. Our dinner at Five Senses was incredible. Uploaded some photos of the views, hard to capture how stunning it truly is. We definitely will be back.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights during our wedding in Santorini. We had struggled for months deciding between which hotel to stay during our wedding as there are so many unique options and we are so glad we chose Astra. The hotel and amenities were as everything you would expect and were very nice. However it was really the customer service and concierge services that were incredible. Given our wedding, we had lots of requests and coordination occurring and the Astra team was so helpful. It was so nice knowing we could rely on them for various things while we focused on our wedding. I have already recommended them to several friends coming in the future and will easily stay here again.

An amazing aesthetic scenery and property! The design of the Suites are so elegant…the service amazing and the feeling of hospitality above all expectations!! A place to stay at while visiting Santorini so as to experience the magic of the destination but as well your stay!

this was a great choice and i would highly recommend this hotel. staff was friendly and helpful.. views are stunning. one of the nicest rooms i have ever stayed in. great location in that it is located between Fira and Oie. you can also easily walk to local restaurants from here. if i had to give one area of improvement it is the quality of the breakfast. wonderful to have room service delivered every day. but the quality of the breakfast was suprisingly not great. breakfast is usually the easiest meal to get right. but the omelettes and eggs weren't flavorful at all, over salted and the portions were small. despite that if you stay at Astra you will not be disappointed with your choice.
