Hotel Arlecchino has easy access to water ferry / taxi / bus, train, and bus transport to or from the airport (literally around the corner). Cafes, gelatto, and restaurants around the corner. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful on site and pre-stay by email. The buffet breakfast available to purchase was located a few steps away, with a garden seating area as well. We had a canal view room at much less cost of other hotels, and the windows cut any noise. The bathroom was clean, lovely and fully equipped. Don't pull the cord in the shower - this is a safety feature in Italian hotels that will notify staff of an emergency! An excellent choice for a great stay!

Close to and visible from Piazzale Roma bus station. Lovely room with a view over canals. Very good breakfast served in sister hotel, 50m away. Helpful staff. Our only negative points are that our bathroom was small and could be better designed, and that the TV had no non-Italian channels.

The morning front desk person, Irina, is outstanding. She took care of our every need. She was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She had great suggestions on what to do and where to eat and how to get around. The location is very convenient to the bus and train terminals, excellent restaurants, and the Grand Canal. The continental breakfast at the hotel next door (reduced price for Arlecchino guests) was delicious. We went every morning. Absolutely no complaints.

Arlecchino Hotel is comfortable, clean and the staff are helpful with a smile. The desk is operated 24/7. They have a lift. The breakfast was in-house but now at the Hotel Olympia just along the canal side and breakfast is fabulous; you can even have prosecco. At that location there are 3 restaurants by the canal. If that sound good, the view from the room was spectacular - right on a busy canal and where 2 canals cross. From the attic room we have had before, the roof opens to an amazing view. Arlecchino is very close to transport through and to/from Venice. Which means the tourist-per-minute count is down but there are fabulous walks to the main sights (or catch the vaporetto).

We arrived at Marco Polo Airport late in the evening and hurried across the concourse to catch the last shuttle bus heading for Piazza Roma. Fortunately we made it and twenty minutes or so later we alighted at our destination. We had only two relatively small bridges to cross to reach Hotel Arlecchino where we were warmly greeted by James the Night Manager who checked us in and gave us some ideas where we might find somewhere still open for a drink and a bite to eat. Our room was very clean and nicely furnished. The next morning we checked out and headed for the cruise terminal. The hotel was perfect for our needs and we would definitely stay there again.

First time visiting Venice. Perfect location outside of the busier areas and beautiful. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make us welcome and also making my Birthday even more special with treats and processco on ice in our room. Canal views from our room were spectacular....

First time visiting Venice. Perfect location outside of the busier areas and beautiful. The staff were amazing and went above and beyond to make us welcome and also making my Birthday even more special with treats and processco on ice in our room. Canal views from our room were spectacular. Room not huge but lovely. Breakfast at sister hotel was wonderful and well worth the extra money. Would definitely recommend and will stay here again.

Convenient location to the car park, the cruise terminal and the train station. For our fourth trip to Venice, we liked being a bit away from the touristy areas, but still easy to take a vaperatto or walk to St Marks Square etc. Comfortable room but at least in ours...

Convenient location to the car park, the cruise terminal and the train station. For our fourth trip to Venice, we liked being a bit away from the touristy areas, but still easy to take a vaperatto or walk to St Marks Square etc. Comfortable room but at least in ours the floor of the bathtub, which was also the shower, was quite precarious with its elevated center and wedges around the side. Helpful staff and nice breakfast at the sister hotel two doors away. Very pleasant stay.

Located near the bus station to the venice airport. This hotel is walking distance to some quieter areas of Venice where my wife and I enjoyed a nice dinner on a plaza. Good breakfast at the hotel next door. Room was decent size and bathroom not too small.

Great proximity to canals which also complicates getting to and from the hotel. Outdoor temps were still moderate but the room was hot. Hotel staff told us to open the windows, which we did. Open windows resulted in mosquitos buzzing about at night and waking up with bug bites. That's not the experience I envisioned. Mattress was a 6 of 10, a bit old and saggy feeling. Linens were nice and room was clean. Getting ready in the bathroom was tough with a tight squeeze between the toilet, bidet and sink. The sink had almost no counter space and the shelf below was difficult to access because of the proximity to the bidet.

This is the perfect place to stay in Venice. It is only a 5 minute walk from the train station and all the staff are super lovely. Irina in particular was extremely friendly and helpful and booked us into a lagoon tour of the islands. The view from our canal room was lovely and the room had everything we needed. Is about a half hour walk to St Marks Square but it was lovely to be outside of the main area. The restaurants around the hotel are great as well if you do good research. Would definitely come back to stay here.
