3.5 Stars. First of all staff is lovely like all over Thailand. This is the old four seasons hotel Bangkok. The hotels still has a wonderful Thai-Style lobby, very well maintained, good service and still a hotspot for business meetings and high society afternoon get togethers. Breakfast is served in a wonderful tropical indoor garden with lots of ponds, quality is good but not as good as other comparable 5 star hotels in Bangkok. We stayed in one of the royal suites, shape is good but all rooms need urgent renovations. We had problems with the AC, the technicians were very helpful and tried their best but also them can’t do magic in a 40 year old hotel. Kasara lounge staff was very nice, especially Anand. We also have to mention the concierge team, Sprite and his colleague did a fantastic job by organising a special razor blade for me, thanks very much again for that. As a summary I would say, nice grand hotel which is well past his golden age, superb location but renovation is more then needed.

A very elegant and welcoming hotel. Delightful staff and excellent eating choices. The Lobby is breathtaking and a charming place to sit, have a drink and watch people come and go. We had a very comfortable room and an excellent 2 days. Will return.

We returned to the Anantara again this year as we enjoyed it so much last year and we were not disappointed. All the staff have a knack of making each guest feel special. This year we received an upgraded room and a bottle of fizz on arrival. This was a lovely surprise and most welcome! Breakfast is divine with every taste catered for in a beautiful setting next to a koi pond with plenty of attentive staff. If only some of the guests would be as polite and wait to be seated! The room size was very generous and the bed, together with the linen was first class, giving us a great sleep every night. Again this year, I must mention the pool attendant in a red polo shirt who looked out for all swimmers in the huge pool, particularly the children, without being intrusive. In addition, Bom popped up everywhere in his bright blue jacket with a huge smile and happy personality. We will be returning next year as the position is excellent with a station outside, shopping malls a short distance away with street food and market stalls further up the road and the staff are so professional.

Great and unique creative food. Good service. All the courses were great especially liked the asparagus salad and the sea bass. The tiramisu was fantastic. Expensive and worth the price. This would be good for a special occasions or a business dinner. Nice change from Great Thai food.

Made it feel like home. 4) good restaurant options and amenities. Loved the secret garden ‘Parichart Court’ where breakfast is served and the Thai restaurant. The Italian restaurant had a modern ambience but was veggie unfriendly.

My experience at the Anantara Siam was phenomenal! We were lucky to be guests of the Kasara lounge where the people and the service were both wonderful. I have to give a shoutout to two people in particular, Nay and Lyn, who were so helpful throughout my stay and up until my check-in at the airport. The airline lost my luggage upon arrival in Bangkok, and both made sure to keep reaching out to the airport regularly throughout my stay. I rarely experienced service like this in such a big hotel. I look forward to staying there again soon.

We had two nights stay at Anantara Siam recently. There are some nice things about the hotel and some not so nice things. First of all, the location is central and convenient. 1 minute to the BRT station and 7-11 not far away. The hotel lobby has kept the Peninsular grandeur with beautiful fresh flowers decoration. The garden has been kept well. Very green and peaceful to hide away from the hustle and bustle outside. The heritage hotel feeling thoroughly passed through art objects around the hotel. Our garden terrace room is spacious and clean. Loved the décor with antique looking objects. The marble bathroom is light and airy, and plenty of space. However, the air-conditioning was noisy and not cold during our stay. Our sleep was disturbed. The bath water was yellow after even after running for quite a while. Can’t tell the colour of shower water but if it’s similar pipes, probably would be the same. Generally speaking, service is fine. The team has been friendly and helpful especially concierge; however, it’s not the usual Anantara “couldn’t do enough for guests” attitude we encounter at other Anantara, especially at our check-in experience at the executive floor upon arrival. Breakfast was a bit chaotic downstairs but the executive floor experience was good. Special thanks to the all-girls team that morning. Tried the lobby restaurant as well, good food, service was a bit slow because there was only one person there. Overall, it’s a hotel with many nice things but showing its age and tiredness a bit.

The accommodation, the team service throughout the hotel and attention to detail as well as the atmosphere exceeded our expectations. Our meals were consistently faultless and the breakfast buffet was one of the best I have experienced. The rooms are very comfortable with all the trimmings from daily service to turn down service and everything in between. The pool area is one of the best I have experienced in Bangkok as full sun most of the day, beautiful gardens and sala pavilions. After traveling to Bangkok for many years, this is our new home away from home. The hotel is located in a great area and close to all transport and shopping,eating malls as well as Lumpini Park and Bangkok golf/race course. Thank you to all the team at Siam Anantara for making our time unforgettable and look forward to our next visit.

If you are looking at great stay with a traditional touch, then Anantara Siam is the place for you. Service and food are both top notch. I really enjoyed eating at Spice Market and enjoyed a drink at Aqua Bar. Staff at every corner are just so pleasant, friendly and obliging. Location wise, a short walk to Central World, Platinum, Central Chidlom and Big C. I will definitely consider staying at Anantara again, this being my second time already.

Tried this hotel, which was in a slightly inconvenient location as compared to the Intercontinental Hotel nearby which we usually stayed at. Was generously upgraded to Kasara Club room. It was not so glamorous as Intercontinental Club room, but we’re really grateful for this! Ratchadamri Station was less than a few mins’ walk. Overall still a very convenient location. Upon check-out, Lyn was helpful & told us bout the coming Songkran Festival. If we have not booked their sister hotel at the Riverside, would definitely love to stay with them again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel and will definitely return next time we are in Bangkok. We loved everything about the hotel - the rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean, the hotel itself is beautiful, the spa and swimming pool were excellent and the quality of the food in the restaurants on the ground floor was amazing. I would like to thank each and every member of staff that we encountered for their professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness - they were all wonderful! From the entrance to the cleaning staff, restaurant staff, swimming pool, spa….everyone! A true 5 star experience! The location is also great - close to shopping and public transport. We left Bangkok before the earthquake but we hope that the staff and their families are all safe and well and we send them our best wishes.

A fabulous stay at the Anantara Siam. We had a wonderful suite, and the Kasara Lounge was a welcome quiet space from busy Bangkok when we needed a break. The staff were very attentive and accommodating. The location is close to the train which makes life so much easier.
