One would not necessarily think to visit the Amalfi coast in December… well, we had the most wonderful time. The weather was stunning and just the right temperature, and the low season allowed us to experience the local life amongst the locals… enjoying a glass of prosecco on the central square, whilst the local residents were shopping groceries, and a family coming out of the local centuries’ old cathedral for a christening ceremony… priceless! The hotel is an old convent, still hosting a monk, a cloister, and a beautiful little chapel. Despite not being pious, we had a wonderful conversation with Friar Markus who looks after the convent. The property offers breathtaking views over the open sea and the rugged coast with its colorful houses. The hotel was a short walk away from the village via a small path carved in the cliff and going through narrow alleyways before bringing us to the central square. The team was extremely attentive, whilst very discreet and provided a very polished service. The lovely lady at the reception provided plenty of local insights and ensured we did not miss any must-see landmarks during our short trip. The restaurant team was very professional and graceful, providing a wonderful dining experience, matched only by the quality of the fine dining Italian cuisine and the great wines. A real local immersive experience in true luxury… which will leave lasting memories!

It was a beautiful hotel, everyone very nice! Very clean very unique. We wanted to ship stuff home the hotel helped us find a box and shipped for us. Beds very comfortable, fitness center very cool and went everyday. Easy to walk to town as well.

The room was billed as ocean view and as my husband said, it was ocean-ish view, if you peeked over the roof of the other buildings. Francesco at the front was very helpful and Sall at the bar was amazing, super friendly, made us feel very welcome and treated us like friends. The property was very beautiful, the room was small but nice and we enjoyed our stay. There are MANY steps to get up and down the hill but they do offer a convenient shuttle to the centro.

The staff are all so friendly and helpful. My requirement to eat gluten free was exceptionally well catered for. Breakfast buffet was delicious. The infinity pool is great with comfortable loungers and pool towels. Would love to return.
