It is certainly not an Inn to Remember! An Inn to forget for sure!
Stale pastries left outside for breakfast.
We were given the smallest room at the back of the property. I did call and mention my disability.
Don’t forget to put the service my room sign on the door or the room will not be serviced.

Hmm, not sure where to start. Pulled in driveway which is very tight. Zero contact with owners/staff which is ok, I guess but leads to a very impersonal experience . Room is clean, cute but tight quarters especially when you enter through the front door. Back patio is cute yet the family who stayed or live behind the patio were loud with screeching children, not over exaggerating, so not the quiet oasis as described on the website. Pastries delivered in the morning were delish but we never received a carafe of coffee as described on the website but there is a Keurig in room. Best thing about the place is the location.
Basically it’s an overpriced room and doesn’t live up to the experience as described on website. There are definitely better options. Not our first time here in Sonoma and wouldn’t recommend staying here if you are looking for a quiet and unique experience.
Sorry to have to write a poor review.

Stayed in the Palm Garden Suite. It’s a great location. It was clean. Check-in consists of picking up an envelop from the back porch - no interaction with the staff - he did poke his head out to say have a great stay. The room is small and tight. There is no place to sit (the chairs inside look more like ornamental antiques - I didn’t sit in them for fear of breaking them, and they looked very uncomfortable.) The same goes for the outdoor seating in the back. The bed is very soft. The AC unit for the place is right outside this room so you hear it all night long. If you have a big car or truck, parking is very tight. Not a bad place, but we’ll find somewhere else next time.

Based on the good reviews, we stayed at An Inn To Remember to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary during a tour of wine country. We even paid for a suite and expected it to be a special stay. While the room was clean and the outdoor patio was cool (it rained so we couldn't use it), the room didn't justify the price. There was no acknowledgement of our anniversary and no response when I emailed them about restaurant recommendations. It was very impersonal because there is no front desk or person to welcome you. The walls were very thin and we could hear our neighbors coughing/talking. The location was good but the parking is very tight. While the morning pastry and coffee were good I don't think it should be called a breakfast --it's just a pastry and coffee. It was our first time in Sonoma and I think there are better options to stay in the area for the costs of the suites especially.

If you ever wanted to spend your hard-earned vacation at a trailer park, then you are in luck! The main house and the common area therein looks very nice, but it is locked up and off limits. Instead, you will get directed to a barrack in the back divided into tiny rooms. Amazingly enough, they thought about everything. No need for you to bring a suitcase, because there is no room to open it. The bathroom is literally so small that you don't need to bring your vanity set, because there is no place to squeeze it in. Traveling in the winter months has an additional advantage of the bathroom feeling like a true outhouse, because there is no heating of any kind there.
Overall, truly a full trailer park experience in the heart of wine country :) What comes to mind is an acronym that was concocted from the name of now defunct Belgian airline called Sabena - Such A Bad Experience Never Again.
Fortunately, the property manger has saved a day and vacation, and moved us to wonderful Cottage Inn and Spa. But, that's another story :)

We were only able to stay one night, but would love to go back for a longer visit! Cozy, charming, and a great breakfast. Right down the block from Sonoma's downtown square. Perfect home base for a couples getaway in wine country!

One night only because this was a splurge for us and we squeaked in a sonoma day during a trip elsewhere. The location was of course fantastic, the staff so sweet, and our room (private balcony out back) was superb. The jet tub was amazing, the decor was gorgeous, and the bed was soooooo comfy. Soo comfy!!! We loved the details and wished we had longer to stay. Didn't get to use the wine pass, wish they gave it to you early. Otherwise it was truly memorable and so fun! Breakfast was cute too, served on our patio.

My husband & I stayed one night here in the Palm Garden room for a spontaneous mid-week get away from the Bay Area. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay here!
We arrived a few hours early. So we checked to see if we could park our car early in the lot. We were greeted right away by the hostess. She was very friendly and allowed us to check into our room early and park our car.
We loved our room! The Palm Garden room is an end unit with its own private backyard. The overall room and bed & pillows were so clean & comfy with all the basic amenities like Keurig coffee maker and WiFi. The backyard patio was peaceful & quiet with chirping birds and squirrels & the sound of the fountain in the adjacent patio. The next morning, 2 delicious breakfast pastries were delivered to our porch at 8:30.
The huge plus of this place is its location just across the street from the The Girl & the Fig restaurant to which we had a gift certificate and ate both our lunch & dinner. We also took a local hike to the Sonoma Overlook Trail just a half mile away. So this was just the perfect launching pad to go out, then come back to get cleaned up, and then go out again!
To address a few of the negative reviews we saw, which seem really minor (even petty) to us. Our room was somewhat on the smaller side but that was not a problem at all. We found room for our suitcase on the floor by the back door. But there is also a suitcase stand in the closet. Also, the bathroom does not have counter space for travel bags but we still found a way to make it work. There is a drawer beneath the sink that one could use for longer stays. In the backyard, we heard a neighbor interacting with their young child, but it was very quiet. We also did not need to sit at the small table in the room because we spent most of our time in the AMAZING backyard!
Finally, the price seemed pretty reasonable to us compared to some other places we looked at relative to all the benefits, location, and privacy, etc.
We loved this place and plan to come back and make this a future mid-week getaway spot, and we very highly recommend this place to all who are interested!
