The room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities we needed. Our room was a suite, located up on the hill with a great view. The hotel’s location was wonderful, right next to Patong Beach, offering amazing views. However, it took some time to go to and from the lobby. Other than that, everything was excellent , the facilities, breakfast, and the helpful staff, especially Betty, who was absolutely amazing

Great hotel location great staff fabulous, only down side they allow people in pyjamas in the breakfast area , one woman wearing xmas pyjamas in march , this needs to be addressed as not a good look for a five star hotel .would stay again as long as no pyjamas

Great restaurants and food and all staff on site were friendly and welcoming. Customer relations staff member Ploy organised a special event for us and ensured for the entire stay we well looked after. And yes best pillows ever. I don’t have enough words to say how fantastic the Amari is to stay in.We are currently staying in room 6082 with a lovely ocean view.The hotel is superb but I have to put that down mainly to the staff. Everyone is so so helpful and really do go the extra mile.My wife needs help to walk and the staff are brilliant and always on hand to assist. She had an unfortunate accident prior to arriving at Amari and only for the staff input we would have been forced to go home early.We will definitely return to Amari and cannot thank staff enough for their help and support ! If you are considering coming to Phuket then this is the place for you to stay 😄😄👍

An oasis of relative calm at the southern end of Patong Beach. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday soaking up the best Thailand has to offer, then I suggest that you look elsewhere. Patong seems to be geared up to offer every pleasure some people may seek out, it's not for us. Dodgy looking bars, cannabis shops etc. We walked into town after breakfast on our first morning and both agreed that over the next 5 days of our stay we won't be leaving the hotel. Now the Amari is a fairly large hotel, catering for many different types of people. Our Deluxe Ocean Front room, while relatively large seems to lack storage space for clothes. There are very few hangers in the wardrobe and no drawers to speak of. The hotel is set at the southern end of the bay at Patong and does enjoy beach front access to the sea. We arrived here after 4 nights/5 days in Chiang Mai staying in a small boutique hotel, so I suspect my review is based upon the stark contrast to Chiang Mai. Northern Thailand has a very different feel to Phuket, more relaxed, many lovely restaurants and bars and not at the feeling we've both had in Patong. We happily left the hotel to walk around the old town centre of Chiang Mai, whereas in Patong we will next leave the hotel when we leave to go to the airport for our flight out.

Awesome Staffing, from Concierge to room/shuttle assistance, room maid service to breakfast, lunch, dinner & the bar staff, this place is second to none, all very helpful, love this place and its level of service, just a few names out of the many helpful staff, not forgetting the shuttle service, the service desk & main desk hard to remember them all! Just to mention a few real assets at The Amari Patong! Nook, Den, Ni, Jeab & Cream are just the best!!! Keep up the good work our 3rd visit was just amazing thank you all
