We can’t recommend this hotel enough. It was simply beautiful and so perfect for couples. Our room was really clean and the view from the balcony was breath taking. The housekeeping was absolutely brilliant! A separate mention definitely has to go to the team and the service. It was simply exceptional! Bravo Alisia and the team! Nothing was a bother. They have kindly helped with booking our trips and restaurants. Always smiley and helpful! We couldn’t recommend the hotel enough!

Oia is such a beautiful place and Alta Mare is a perfect place to stay overlooking the Santorini caldron and it is also perfectly located in the middle of restaurants and shops. We stayed in a two bedroom suite with its own private hot tub and sparkling wine was chilling when we arrived along with an appetizer plate. What made Alta Mare even better was the assistance of the staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They carried our luggage up the street to the hotel and down to the taxi when we left. Martin, Tefal (sp?) and the others treated us like special guests. When you stay at an Andronis property you can use the amenities at any of the other four locations so we spent an afternoon at Andronis Arcadia's large pool. If we ever go back to Santorini we would stay at Alta Mare.

Went for our honeymoon. Excellent service. Helpful staff. All around wonderful experience. In the heart of Oia, plenty to do and plenty to see. The Infinity pool was great. The view from every window looks like it isn’t real. Beautiful views.

One of the best hotels that we stayed during our trip to Greece. Warm staff , great views and amazing room. It is located in the center of Oia and you have everything close by , within 5 minutes walking distance. Unforgettable stay in this beautiful location.

Nothing is too much trouble for the wonderful staff at this hotel, from the airport transfers to ideas for day trips and places to eat. They will make reservations for you for restaurants, boat trips and much more. The hotel is beautiful and always very clean. The most fantastic views from the room and from the pool. Super little pool at the hotel and use of the huge pool at the Arcadia included just a 5 min walk away.

What wonderful place Alte Mare By Andronis is. We arrived in Oia and after being picked up at the taxi stop made our way by foot to the reception, the manager carried our bags. There are cobbled streets and lots of steps so make sure you are wearing flat shoes! No vehicles go past the outside parts, it is mainly pedestrianised, so you have to walk a little way to the hotel. After welcome drinks and information we were shown to our room. We were upgraded from a Romance to a 2 bedroom suite with jacuzzi which was lovely and unexpected. This is the only 2 bedroom and is accessed by going back up to the Main Street, a few yards along then down a few steps. It is a wonderful space with patio and jacuzzi where breakfast, which you can choose the previous night and choose time served, was brought to us every morning. It has two en-suite bathrooms and a lounge and kitchenette. Has a lovely view over the sea. We had a wonderful six days here. The pool which is back down the steps past reception has beds for 10 people and we were virtually the only people there even though the hotel was virtually full. The guys on the bar keep you topped up with drinks. Reception will help you book tables for dinner and make any other arrangements for you. They are extremely helpful. All the staff are fantastic and work so hard to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We will definitely be returning.

From the moment we arrived, the staff provided a super warm welcome and went above and beyond to cater to all our needs. It was a very comfortable and memorable experience. The hotel's location is great and the service was impeccable. So much attention to detail, it truly made us feel valued as guests. We would definitely return to this amazing hotel, given the chance!

A fairytale dream come true experience. Beautiful hotel in one of the most captivating places on earth. The staff treated us like royalty. It literally felt like we didn't need to lift a finger during our stay. From the in room breakfast every morning that was top tier with everything you can think of for breakfast that actually tasted amazing, to the cleaning of our rooms everytime we left the room, to the organizing of our transportation to tours and restaurants, to the helpful porters who relentlessly lifted our bags up and down the many Santorini stairs, and to the personal touches they added that made our trip so romantic and unforgettable. Truly worth more than 5 stars.

I cannot recommend Alta Mare enough!! The rooms and views were exceptional. The staff especially Constantinos were all incredible and went above and beyond for us. The breakfast set up on our balcony each morning was perfect. This was a perfect spot for our honeymoon!

We just left. We were there for four nights. Had a wonderful stay. The views from your hotel room are amazing. Breakfast is brought to your room every morning. The reception is extremely friendly, helpful, and hospitable. Definitely recommend.

Best customer service I’ve ever experienced. Better customer service than any 5 star hotel I’ve stayed at, in the states. Aside from that, very clean, great view and adjacent toward touristy shops, restaurants. Book it. Stop waiting, spend the damn money you only live once.

Aside from that, they are just so smiley, kind and helpful. You can go to many beautiful places all over the world, but not always will you find service that is equally unforgettable. The breakfast was included and they are very generous with the food. It was also delicious. The pistachio e pepe was amazing too.

My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon at Alta Mare in Santorini, and we had a wonderful time. We received a room upgrade upon arrival, and had beautiful views of the town on Oia and the sea. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, and helped us carry our luggage in and out down the large flight of stairs! Breakfast was available to order each morning and delivered to the room. It was such a treat to stay here, and we'd highly recommend!

The staff is some of the kindest I have ever come across (greatly appreciated the staff who carried our bags to/from hotel - they definitely get a workout, the reception staff who helped us without whatever we needed during stay - it was like they could read our minds anticipating our needs, the room service and pool staff were kind and prompt with their service). The room was the perfect size and our room’s terrace area with hot tub, lounge chairs and dining table/chairs was the perfect hide out during the day where we could relax taking in the views. Santorini may be beautiful but with so many people we learned to explore early and late and take advantage of our terrace during the day - it was absolutely perfect. The food was wonderful, with a nice variety to choose from, eating breakfast on our terrace each morning was a great way to start each day. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Stop looking at reviews for hotels for Oia, and book Alta Mare by Andronis!!! Take it from a Type A planner who did tons of research before my vacation to Greece - stop searching and book this hotel. My husband and I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights to celebrate our very belated honeymoon and the hotel and staff exceeded my expectations. This is honestly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at, and I travel fairly often and typically stay at nice hotels. The staff were kind and extremely responsive. They were available by WhatsApp, and seamlessly and quickly helped arrange taxis and reservations. The room itself was beautiful, with nice extra touches including a pillow menu, huge closet with a large full-length mirror, complimentary bottled water (you can't drink the tap water in Santorini), and more. The breakfast delivered to your room every morning was delicious. I am gluten-free and they were incredibly accommodating. The location of the hotel is perfect. It's right by everything in Oia, but still feels very secluded and romantic. You're a 2-min walk from the bus stop if you'd like to explore Santorini. Another HUGE plus is that you get access to the other beautiful Andronis properties in Santorini. The Andronis Arcadia is a quick 10-minute walk and the staff made us reservations for sunset drinks, massages, and a pool day at the property. We were treated so well at this sister property and it was nice to experience another hotel.
