The property is beautiful, and the breakfast (some buffet items and extensive made-to-order menu) are fresh and delicious. The lunch, afternoon tea and dinner are also very good. I highly recommend the Balinese cuisine sampler course meal. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We hope to visit again soon.

The location is set in the rain forest surrounded by various wildlife noises. All staff are polite friendly & accommodating dressed in traditional costume. 1: The room is functional. We had a view overlooking the rainforest hill. I am sure all rooms has beautiful views because of its location. 2: A good choice for breakfast, oriental or western food. There is a choice of buffet or menu food. 3: There is a shuttle bus into Ubud which takes about 20 minutes depending on traffic. The shuttle bus starts from 10:30, last one back to the hotel is 17:00 hrs with choice of 4 other option times in between. 4: We went to the barbecue evening, there was a good choice of food, tasty & excellent value with live entertainment. 5: Rooms cleaned daily with an option for an evening turndown service. 6: Not much storage in the room but I think this accommodation is to chill for a few days at the start or the end of your Bali experience. There is a safe in the room (no charge) 7: The infinity pool is well maintained, we took full advantage of it in this perfect setting. The waiter provides fresh water & cold flannel as part of their service. 8: A rainforest comes with monkeys who will take anything of interest from your balcony. I was reading my book having a drink with a packet of crisps, completely taken by shock a monkey grabbed my crisps . Please don’t leave anything of value on your balcony as it may never be seen again. In essence this is a fabulous place to stay, to gather your thoughts, relax & be looked after by a great team of beautiful people.

We recently stayed at Alila Ubud for five nights in the largest garden view villa (Room 501), and it was truly great stay. The villa itself is amazing—spacious, beautifully designed, and offering a perfect blend of comfort and nature. However, if you’re not a fan of monkeys, be warned—each afternoon, a group of them likes to visit the balcony! The resort as a whole is magic. It’s the perfect place to switch off, soak in the stunning views, and enjoy top-tier hospitality. The atmosphere encourages you to put your phone away and lose track of time, which is exactly what we were looking for. The infinity pool is incredible—offering breathtaking views—and since the resort isn’t overly large, it never feels overcrowded, you’ll see a few Instagram influencers more focused on capturing the perfect shot than enjoying the water or drinks, but that’s life now. The grounds are immaculately maintained, and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay special. We would have happily extended our stay if we hadn’t already booked another part of our Bali trip. Highly recommended—we may just make this an annual tradition! Bali as a whole is in need of attention Kuta, Seminyak etc are a far cry from what you will experience at this resort.

This hotel is beautiful, in a wonderful location with excellent helpful and friendly staff. We stayed five nights. Everything was as to be expected and a good standard. My only concern was the steep flight of steps to the swimming pool with no handrail. We are in our 70s and this would deter us from a return visit. Also guests can only have one room key, which is an inconvenient hassle when doing things separately.

Alila Ubud exceeded my expectations with its tranquil ambiance and impeccable service. We booked our stay at Alila Ubud using Hyatt points and credit card. Upon checking in, we requested an upgrade, which was initially declined due to availability. However, after an issue with the A/C in our original room, the upgrade became available. Ivan was exceptional and quickly resolved the situation, making our stay much more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, and Mrs. Widi was a lovely host. One note: after check-in, we saw monkeys in the lobby attempting to grab belongings. It would have been helpful to be informed about them during check-in, as I’m quite afraid of monkeys, which made me a bit anxious.

We went there for our honeymoon and had the best time. The Resort is amazing and the service is excellent. The food was delicious as well. Everyone made sure that our stay was pleasant. I would recommend for anyone looking to have amazing and relaxing days.
