My husband and I have been coming to Le Blanc Cancún for 4 years. We go every year for our anniversary and sometimes twice if we can get the time off work. We absolutely love this resort. It is so beautiful and comfortable. We usually go in April as the weather is around 80-85 degrees with beautiful blue skies. Since we go often the staff remember us every time we go back which makes us feel very welcome and special. We are not members here. They are always trying to get us to become members. When we check in we just firmly, but politely say we are not interested and they are respectful about it. We stayed on the 2nd floor this last trip and Antonio was our butler. He was so funny and really went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Pool: the pools are great. We love the swim up bar option in both the Luna & Sol Pool. It looks like hotel staff are cracking down on it so it’s more of a first-come, first-served basis. Lucinda is a pool concierge and she is the most amazing staff member. She works so hard and always has a smile on her face. Gilbert worked at the Sol pool during our stay and he always remembered our drinks and provided prompt and friendly service. Food/Restaurants: the food is great. My husband and I are from Seattle and we are big foodies. We are at the buffet every morning. At lunch, my favorite thing to get is the brisket tacos. We also love the pizza at Terraza. I would recommend if you order any kind of steak dish to ask for medium rare, otherwise it tends to be over cooked. The reservations are kind of annoying but I understand that they don’t want to overbook and provide mediocre service. Lobby Bar: Ivan and Renan are 2 bartenders that work either at the Lobby or Cavo bar. We’ve gotten to know them over the last couple years and we enjoy seeing them every time we go back. They are great at their jobs and always remember our drink orders. Entertainment: my husband and I are pretty chill so we love the calm and relaxing atmosphere. They do have volleyball/live music and some other pool activities at the resort. At night they also have a bar open until 2AM that hosts live bands and karaoke. Laura, Claudia and Addie do a fantastic job of hosting all the activities and making you laugh. Spa: we always get a massage during our stay and we really enjoy it. My husband also uses the hydrotherapy (complimentary) every morning. Rooms: we had a standard room to cut back on costs this last trip. I wasn’t a fan that the toilet was right next to the shower but it wasn’t a huge deal. Love that all the rooms are spacious, comfortable and have lots of storage. My advice: one you book your stay, your pre-check in butler will reach out to you about transportation and making reservations. I would highly recommend you make dinner reservations prior to arriving. Also download the app- it is extremely useful. It also allows you to plan your day out. Get to know the staff. They love their jobs and taking care of people. They are really fun and are happy to go out of their way to make sure you’re having the best time on your vacation. This was our 6th or 7th time to Le Blanc in Cancun, and it was just wonderful yet again. It’s nice when the overall experience lives up to your memories and expectations. Service levels, drink quality and food was all top notch. Sipping on beers and tequila on the rocks, while eating chips and guacamole waiting for (excellent) pizza, overlooking the ocean is truly my happy place! Emilio at Yama and Bryan at Bella were super friendly (non judgmental when the 2 of us ate enough food for 4!) and helpful and made our meals at those places special experiences we’ll remember fondly until our next visit. Gilbert at the pool bar is an amazing mixologist and handled the busier waves without skipping a beat, and still remembered my specific drink order of the day … although to be fair that’s usually dos icebergs. And last guy you must meet is Hector who works the day time shift at the lobby bar, super welcoming, great suggestions and seems to wear a lot of hats around there and nails it all! Always love getting a farewell tequila sipper from him…it’s become one of our favorite traditions! If you’re reading this wondering...
