Breathless Punta Cana Resort & Spa

I’m not gonna lie—we were a little nervous about the DR. It had never really crossed our minds to travel here, but we are SO thankful we decided to go! We came with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday, and we had the best time. Breathless was amazing! The entertainment, fun pools, music, and plenty of drinks made it such a fun atmosphere. The food was also better than your average all-inclusive buffet/restaurant experience. Get up & make it to breakfast the recovery shakes are fun. The lunch buffet was great. The family side has an ice cream shop and giant screen/bar room to watch sport games with the crowd. Check-in is long make your reservation for the Asian restaurant, at check-in. You can go between the adults-only resort and the family side, so there are tons of restaurants, pools, activities, and places to explore. This Hyatt property- it’s totally safe walking between the resorts & beaches. We also upgraded to Xhale for one day, if you have a beach day- do it! More drink choices the staff was super attentive, and it was much easier to get a good spot on the beach. 🌴🍹 We stayed for 6 nights. We were able to experience pretty much everything we wanted without feeling rushed.Our room was spacious, clean- we chose the quieter (garden room). One of the best parts of the trip was meeting so many fun people from all over—Canada, the UK, and lots of people from the Midwest. We went to the DR a little unsure of what to expect and would come to this location again. For transportation we used Mike Fisher and were happy. Amstar & Viatour had spots right at the airport too- pick a transportation before you get there it’s crazy hectic walking out of the airport through all the people.

We had a great time at Breathless Resort and Spa Punta Cana. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were various different activities to participate in both during the day and in the evening. The resort and the rooms were clean. The Fitness center had a lot of equipment along with a stretching room. The food at the various restaurants was good. A lot of good positive energy felt at the resort!

It was a great time. Pool parties were amazing, entertainment every night was great! Beautiful resort! Look for Victor and Miguel at the lobby bar for the best bartenders in the world. And in that same area, find Karen as your server to get you drinks if you want to lounge before the show or going to dinner! Loved it there!!

The accommodations are excellent and spacious, complemented by attentive staff and delicious cuisineSeriously, this place is amazing! The rooms are so big and comfy, it's like a home away from home. And the staff? Super friendly and always ready to help you out. Plus, the food is absolutely delicious – you won't be disappointed. It's definitely a top-notch experience all around. Shanty made the stay ten times better! My fellow Virgo friend is a blast! I can't wait to come back!

place is very clean and very nice visually rooms big and clean the food i would say its ok some thing good some things not so good but we are picky eaters and other people liked it. entertainment we really enjoyed joel was our concierge he was great , we had a real crazy storm and a piece of the ceiling broke in the shower call Joel and he had it all fixed while we were at the pool . the only thing that was really not nice is the ocean a lot of seaweed washing up on the beach but not their fault

We had a great stay at Breathless Punta Cana! It was refreshing to visit a resort that offered activities and entertainment for adults of all ages. There was always something fun to do, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our experience and would recommend the resort to others looking for an active and enjoyable adults-only getaway.

We will definitely be back! The location was approximately a 45-minute drive from the airport, which was not bad at all. The atmosphere was wonderful, and I especially appreciated that it was an adults-only resort since we were there celebrating our wedding anniversary. Our room was absolutely perfect! Upon arrival, we had a “Happy Anniversary” sign on our door, which was such a nice touch. When we opened the door, we were greeted by a spacious room complete with an outdoor Jacuzzi tub and a bidet in the bathroom. The shower was also very spacious and comfortable. For what we paid, the value was truly on point! The cleanliness of both our room and the overall resort grounds was consistently maintained. As for the noise level—it was definitely lively! However, we were completely fine with that because most of the noise came from everyone having a wonderful time at the pool, which included a swim-up bar. The service throughout the resort was great, and everyone we encountered was pleasant. However, there is one person I absolutely have to recognize: Juan. During one of our dinners, I ordered short rib that unfortunately was too tough for me to eat, so I asked the waiter if I could have something else. Shortly afterward, the manager, Juan, came to our table to find out why I had sent the dish back. He was incredibly kind and genuinely concerned that I wasn't happy with my meal. Juan then asked if we were celebrating anything, and when we told him it was our anniversary, he invited us to one of the other restaurants he manages and told us he would do something special for us. From that moment on, every single time Juan saw us, he made a point of checking in and asking how everything was going. On our last night, we visited one of the other restaurants he manages, and once again, he came over to make sure we didn't need anything. Unfortunately, that same day, we had a horrible experience on an excursion. Juan was genuinely interested in hearing all about it and took the time to listen. Before we left, he asked what time we would be departing the next morning. When we told him, he asked what we would like for breakfast because he wanted to have room service sent to our room before we had to leave for the airport at 7:00 a.m. And boy, did he come through! The next morning, Juan sent an incredible breakfast spread to our room, complete with mimosas, omelets, bacon, sausage, toast, and fresh fruit. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected way to end our anniversary trip. Juan was attentive from the very first moment he met us. He's a young man who clearly takes his job very seriously, genuinely cares about the guests, and goes above and beyond to make sure people have a great experience. I truly hope he is being compensated for the value he brings to the resort because he deserves it! If you ever visit Breathless Punta Cana, **make sure you meet Juan!** He is one of the people who made our anniversary trip truly memorable. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would absolutely return to Breathless Punta Cana!

Very clean! Wonderful staff! We went in August of 2026. There was entertainment every night that catered to both our age (mid-40s) and the younger 21+ crowd. We did not make reservations at all and had absolutely no issues with being seated. The room was spacious and had a very comfortable bed. We also planned one excursion at the Bavaro Amusement Park. It was a fun day of horseback riding, ziplining, and swimming in some pretty cool cave-like lagoons. There was even a waterfall. Great trip overall! Would definitely go back!

Just returned from 10 days at Breathless with my wife and 3 sons who are all in their 20s. The resort was perfect for our needs very lively with great entertainment and food and drink options. We went for Xhale which made things even better and our concierge Willy was super attentive and catered for all our needs. Overall very happy with the resort and would recommend for family’s with young adult children.
