Playa Grande was awesome. Good food and drinks. Shout out to Miriam and Hector Raga at the pool! Great customer service!! Steak house was delicious. Rooms are spacious. Weather was perfect in early March. Definitely do an early evening sunset cruise to whale watch and enjoy the sunset.

The service could not be any better. The food was excellent as well. Calima for seafood grill night dinner was a real treat and Yoni was the best manage/server ever. He always remembered us. The entire staff here was incredible.

My wife and I had an incredible experience at Playa Grande Resort & Grand Spa! The combination of the steam room, cold plunge, saltwater pool, and the shared room massage really set the stage for a relaxing afternoon. The professionally trained massage therapists were so attentive and professional, catering to your individual needs. This really was an exceptional, special experience with the spa treatments perfectly tailored and the relaxing atmosphere. We are looking forward to returning and making more memories. 5 star all the way!

We enjoyed our stay! The best part was watching the whales from the beach in front of the resort. We had a car so did a lot of exploring (Todos Santo, dived in Cabo Pulmo). For this reason, we often were not near the hotel for dinner, but we did have dessert at the resort restaurant (Brigantine) and it was delicious. Even though resort is centrally located to marina and town, it was quiet. We would return.

The reality is that I had a timeshare week I had to use, I had never been to Cabo San Lucas, and Playa Grande Resort was available. Of course getting to the resort from the airport is an experience as you're inundated with people trying to sell you a timeshare, some kind of experience, or a ride to your resort. Once you make your way through that chaos, 45 minute later you arrive at a beautiful well maintained resort. We did decide to pay for the all inclusive plan but it's not necessary as the resort is in walking distance to many restaurants. The pool area is lovely and there are several different pools for your convenience with servers who are plentiful and attentive. The guest rooms are clean and comfortable and housekeeping comes daily which isn't always the case with a timeshare. This resort far exceeded my expectations! It should be noted that while the resort is on the beach it is against the law to get into the water so if that is of interest to you another hotel would be more appropriate. You can sit on the sandy beach, but we were perfectly happy poolside!

Jair, Rodrigo, Eduardo were amazing at keeping us and the entire team were great at involving us and all of the guests. Great experience, definitely one to enjoy! Jorge was a great server at Diamante and was absolutely amazing! Try this place!

Great room and facilities. Food was good and convenient to Marina. While beach was not swimable it was great to be by it and watch amazing sunrises and sunsets! Lots is spaces to explore by the pool and daily activities were varied and fun.

The staff were amazing. Housekeeping, servers, pool staff and front desk. All fantastic. The location is convenient - we walked to the marina many times. Gate security prevents an uber pickup, unless you meet them outside the gate. Taxis are expensive, so it was worth a short walk to go...

Gate security prevents an uber pickup, unless you meet them outside the gate. Taxis are expensive, so it was worth a short walk to go meet our uber drivers. The rooms themselves are dated. Need a refresh. The tub was cracked and peeling and the plumbing leaked. I was probably more annoyed by the charge for coffee when we checked out. A bag of coffee was provided in our room - normally a provided amenity in nicer resorts. Nope - a $10 line item when we checked out. When you pay that much for a resort, with hefty taxes, it’s just annoying to get slapped with something so ridiculous at the end. We loved walking out to the beach and watching the whales each day. No swimming and if you want an old, ratty recliner in the sand, you need to drag it yourself. The loungers by the pool are lovely, and the towels are plentiful. As with most resorts, there’s a group putting out towels at 6 am for preferred locations where they sit unoccupied for much of the day.

Aimee and Eduardo we’re very friendly, and always had smiles on their faces. you can tell they love their jobs and like to have a good time. We will definitely come here next year.🤗 We can’t forget Roberto he was a great MC and made us all laugh.

I love that they remember your name! I never felt like a number here, we were a VIP guest to all of the staff. The grounds are well kept and very beautiful. Especially the koi pond. We very much enjoyed Andres and Rodrigo and Fernando. We enjoyed chatting with them and their friendliness. I highly recommend you visit Playa Grande in Cabo!

Special shoutout to Edwardo is the best and never fails to make you happy! Also, beautiful Aimee is amazing! One criticism…room cleaning staff did not do a good job. Never dusted coffee table or chairs…shower doors in big bath were dirty. They surface clean only but we were still very happy with what they did do…bed, kitchen, sinks!

We had Super Dan as our server at Playa. He was “super” friendly and made getting food and drinks so easy for us. I highly recommend getting a chair on the beach. While you’re more exposed to the sun you can have your own area closer to the ocean. Adios...

We have been coming to Playa for 18 years and absolutely love it here. They have an amazing staff. We especially love the activities staff, they do an awesome job day in and day out. This property is kept up and very clean. The happy hours and drinks are very good. The walking distance to off property eateries is very accessible, for people in good shape. The marina and downtown eateries are within 1 mile and the cost of a Ubber or taxi is quite unexpensive. There is one thing that makes this Hotel of one the best. That is the employees. This is a very casual setting with employees that are very service minded. They are fun to be around and very friendly. They will make you feel like family. I do want to give a shout out to all of the Playa Grande associates for their great service. I do want to give an additional stroke to some that went beyond. Concierge, Franco, you always help me and others in a very professional way. One good example was , he confirmed a reservation by driving to the location, on his way home. The entire entertainment team , Selma, Humberto, Jiar, Rodrigo, Edwardo, Amy and others make the activities fun. I have been coming to Playa for over 10 years and believe that the most improved area is the Lobby or Sports bar. Enes, Carla, Carlos, and other servers are very good. The manager Martin keeps the wheels on the tracks in a very professional way. The last person that is great is the Door or bellman , Ivan. It is always friendly of him greeting you by saying , "Welcome home" All of the employees and the other friends that we have made make our yearly Cabo trip our faverite get away.
