I'd meant to write a review months ago, but life got in the way. My spouse and I had a magical experience at this hotel! The staff were amazingly gracious, helpful, professional and genuinely friendly. From delicious breakfasts, the amazing pool, the lovely exterior flowering plants to the thoughtful attention from all the employees, we left with a great experience and would definitely return!

The place is beautiful, the food is delicious and all the people there are so very friendly and always so helpful with any thing you need. Victor, Saul, and Lilly treated us fabulously. Plus, if you want to go to a fancier restaurant there is the Grand Villas resort right...

Plus, if you want to go to a fancier restaurant there is the Grand Villas resort right next door and the Loto Robata Grill is amazing AND you get a discount because you are staying at Mar del Cabo.!

This is our second stay here at Mar Del Cabo and it never disappoints. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I had requested something that was no longer on the menu and the next day they told me they got what I was asking for 🫶 Shout out to Victor and Rosaura. The rooms and property are impeccably clean. Thank you, Kenia for keeping our room clean and fridge stocked. Can’t wait to return!

This place is amazing! The team and staff are incredible all around. Pablo, Rasaura, Yassiel, Victor, and countless others made the trip memorable and did a fantastic job. They are attentive, kind, and get stuff done! I would highly suggest!

This boutique resort is refreshingly different from the large/busy all inclusive resorts nearby. The grounds are beautiful, it only has ~40 rooms which gives it a private feel, and it’s adults only making it quiet and low key. We never had to rush to secure sunchairs at the beach or...

This boutique resort is refreshingly different from the large/busy all inclusive resorts nearby. The grounds are beautiful, it only has ~40 rooms which gives it a private feel, and it’s adults only making it quiet and low key. We never had to rush to secure sunchairs at the beach or pool - we enjoyed our own private cabana on the beach everyday for no additional cost. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing beachfront escape. We enjoyed our time at Mar Del Cabo and look forward to staying again.

Such a beautiful location, nice hotel, and excellent service at Mar Del Cabo. Truly a relaxing week of beach time and excellent food and drink. I highly recommend the restaurant, everything was delicious and the staff was attentive and gracious.

My husband and I were looking for a vacation with a focus on rest and relaxation. Mar Del Cabo was the perfect location! Our suite was clean, the views amazing and the service could not have been better! Our concierge, Cristian and his staff, were incredible. We were unable to get Netflix on our TV the first night and asked if we could get yoga mats added to the gym; both of these issues were resolved very quickly! He assisted in getting us dinner reservations and would periodically check with us if there was anything else he could do. As for their restaurant the food was quite fresh and the service was excellent. Victor and staff were very attentive to our requests. As beautiful as the hotel was the service was even more impressive! They were helpful without being overbearing. Hoping to go back soon.

Our entire experience at Mar del Cabo was absolute perfection. We discovered the property while searching for a smaller, boutique hotel for our visit near San Jose del Cabo for my milestone birthday. A lovely small chocolate mousse cake and birthday note upon our arrival was a particularly nice touch! The level of friendliness and effort of the hotel and El Encanto restaurant staffs was exceptionally impressive. Everyone was cheerful, helpful and kind. Pablo and Sergio provided thorough curation of our menu options and attentive, yet unintrusive service. We really enjoyed our ample breakfasts at El Encanto: delicious pastries, yogurt, fruit, and eggs, etc. Of note were the very authentic, buttery French croissants-usually a lackluster feature at other properties. Every item on the menu was fresh, delicious and creatively prepared. We ended up eating almost every meal there for four days without one disappointing experience. Don't miss out on Rosa's Tamarind Mezcalita; a beautiful cocktail for pool time! We adored the ambiance and natural setting of the hotel. They have done a fine job of creating a bespoke decor with spectacular plantings as well as a classy ambiance that reminded us of our finest boutique hotels stays in the Mediterranean, Amalfi Coast and Greece. The views at both the beach and the pool are stunning, and the whole property offers a sense of intimacy and comfort. Our ocean view king was beautifully appointed and the shower was extraordinary giving our bath a spa quality. We cannot wait to return!

The service was amazing. The hotel Grounds and hotel was beautiful and well maintained and service in restaurant was fantastic. Victor, Eufracia and Felipe were hospitable, and attentive. The concierge was so friendly and helpful as well! The resort is GORGEOUS . I would HIGHLY recommend!!!!

We had an incredibly relaxing time at this stunningly beautiful, impeccably clean hotel. We want to especially thank Pablo, Eufracia, Sergio, Victor, and, of course, Chef Oscar, for making our stay extra comfortable. The food was delicious, and Chef Oscar made us some vegetarian options, which we really enjoyed. The staff made sure we had everything we needed at all times, and everyone, including the manager and staff at the front desk, was kind, attentive, and a pleasure to deal with in all interactions. Even though there are many options to stay in Cabo, we look forward to returning here.

We had another incredible stay at Mar del Cabo this past weekend as we continued our planning for our upcoming wedding on the property. The hotel and staff were so welcoming from start to finish and made us feel special throughout our stay. The room was gorgeous, the pool was warm, and Encanto was delicious (especially for our wedding tasting). We want to extend a big thank you to Victor, Andres, Christian, Paolo, Paulina, Grisel and all the others that helped make our experience unforgettable. We can’t wait to return in ~6 months for our wedding weekend :)

My wife and I spent 3 nights at Mar Del Cabo for the July 4th weekend. The resort was clean, quiet, and relaxing. The night we arrived there was a fireworks display and a BBQ buffet to celebrate (US) independence day. The event was a blast and made us feel very welcome. I was most impressed by the staff, they are very dedicated to providing great service. They are also very friendly and easy to talk to. I would like to thank in particular Sergio Damian, Maria Escobar, Pablo Gonzalez, and Eufracia Munoz for making us feel at home on our first trip to Mexico. We could have stayed at a number of resorts, but we will be returning to Mar Del Cabo because we felt it was a great value based on the price point, amenities, and most of all the service! Thank you to all the Mar Del Cabo employees that made our trip so memorable! Until next time...
