An impeccable resort- beautiful setting, gorgeous architecture and maintained at the highest level. And every one of the staff is so kind and welcoming. As others have said, there are not a lot of activities ( yoga at 8 AM each morning, a walk in the hills above at 7 AM Fri and Sat) and a full gym. Of course your personal concierge can arrange all sorts of trips outside the resort. You can sit on your balcony and watch whales migrating during the winter season. The continental breakfasts were lovely and most of the other food we had here was very good ( one miss on a dinner entree and the dining room manager came to me the next day to apologize and offer a breakfast add on in recompense- now that’s service!) The food is expensive but that’s expected at such a high end establishment. If your idea of paradise is hanging out at a beautiful resort, you have arrived!

This was our second stay at the Waldorf Astoria Cabo and it was wonderful in every way. We stayed for a week and wish we could have stayed longer. Beginning from a delicious breakfast each day at Don Manuel’s, to use of the elaborate gym and spa facilities, beach and pools, everything about the facility is impeccable. The staff is professional, friendly, and eager to assist in whatever way they can. We were privileged to have the assistance of our private butler, Ricardo, who went above and beyond to assist with transportation, meals, and other amenities. The Waldorf organized a great Super Bowl party on the pool deck with a big screen and great food. I travel frequently internationally and would be hard pressed to name many properties that are comparable to the Waldorf Cabo in combination of excellent facilities and staff. I am a huge fan of the Waldorf Astoria brand, as I find it to be first class and yet not pretentious. We will definitely be back again next year.

Needed a stay at a Bucket List location for my wife's birthday and to break up a long winter - Cabo Waldorf absolutely perfect on all fronts. Prior to arrival, OUTSTANDING communication and arrangements coordinated by Libia Ronco, Samara Alvarez and Rey Rosas - all exceptional employees and very personable. The resort puts HEAVY emphasis on service and these three were our first encounters, even before we arrived. My recent and pending knee surgeries caused hesitancy and mobility concerns, but Samara made sure we were located in a perfect spot where it wouldn't be a problem. Also has convenient Golf Carts as needed. When you stay here, there are endless choices and opportunities - SIX we can HIGHLY RECOMMEND as "don't miss" are as follows: Friday afternoon Sunset Yacht cruise & whale watch - GREAT VALUE - Book it ahead of time - you will love it!!! ANY Spa Experience A visit to the Agave Study, no matter your expertise and/or budget level - let them teach and guide you El Farallon - Get it booked BEFORE your arrival - Always very FULL Private Dinner on the Beach - We were AMAZED & Appreciative - it was perfect and we even had fireworks at the end - Service & Ambience Spectacular VIP tickets for return trip to airport and lounge - just do it, worth every penny I could go on and on, but here is the most important part. High-end resorts are obsessed with knowing YOUR names and taking care of you at every turn - if YOU want the BEST experience, get to know THEIR names and take time to speak with them, remember them, thank them, etc.... Unfortunately, I lost the names of our Yacht cruise team, but they WERE FANTASTIC as well. I'm sure I've missed a couple of names, but you get the idea - because of all these people, we will absolutely be returning and can't wait to get back. There is a renovation taking place later this year to make the resort even more perfect than it already is. Thank you to all of you and thanks for making us feel like we owned the place! You should all be very proud of the jobs you do and how well you represent Waldorf Astoria, Cabo, and Hilton.

First time guests at this beautiful property. I am Diamond, and we were upgraded from the King Pacific View to the King Ocean View. We were asked at the gate for our welcome drink preference. Margaritas it was – and they were quite refreshing. A great way to kick things off! We met our personal concierge, Hugo, who promptly walked us between the front desk and Agave Study, where we were immediately met with the hotel’s stunning view and humpback whales. I knew it was whale season and that they would be in the area – but not in this quantity. It was a real ‘wow’ factor. Following, we met with Alejandra, walking us through the check in process and escorting us to the room. Our room was next to the kids pool and above the Beach Club restaurant and Kids Club. At first, I didn’t want to be near them, as we do not have kids and we also don’t want to hear them while on vacation. In the end, it was a non-issue. The kids pool was rarely used, and those there were not a disturbance. We were over the top happy with the room and view. There was only had a single palm tree blocking some of our view. The plunge pool’s temperature was a happy medium between those of the pool and hot tub. The terrace got afternoon sun, where we typically enjoyed the daily chips, guacamole, and Coronitas. The bed was very, very comfortable. One of the best hotel beds I’ve ever slept on. As stated earlier, I was expecting whales. Going in, though, I thought we’d need to vigilantly watch the ocean to see the occasional whale. That was not the case here. It was quite literally whale after whale after whale. They come very close to the shore due to the sheer drop off from the beach. It was calming to watch them swim along the shore, occasionally even sky hopping. At a distance, the real show began. They were breaching often. On our first full day, we watched as a mother and calf (what I presume to be) taking turns breaching. It was as if she was showing her baby how to do it. A site to see. The following day, there was one that tail slapped for what seems to be 20 times. There was steady action all day that seemed to particularly escalate by the afternoon. While the room is to have binoculars, I highly recommend having a set per person. Otherwise, you might be jockeying for a view. We brought two of our own and watched them all day while at the pool. We upgraded to the buffet from the continental breakfast each day except for one. I felt it was good value, and we really loaded up. I am a runner training for a marathon and used the proximity of the marina to run. My wife is a yoga instructor, and took Luisa’s class each day (which she says she is a very good teacher). This meant we were at Don Manuel’s for breakfast after 9 am and hungry. The Mexican-inspired offerings and daily specials were unique for each day, all very delicious. The day that we went the continental route was only because we needed to leave for the day at 9:30 am, leaving not enough time between yoga and departure to enjoy the buffet. It was a variety of fruit, yogurt with granola (I believe the other choices were oatmeal or cereal), and a pastry. Certainly not a small amount of food, but it would have been boring had we went this free route each day. On our last day, they gave us complimentary Brioche French Toast. An unexpected surprise and so, so good. The room was serviced twice daily. At check in, they ask for general times which you prefer the room to be cleaned. It worked out well for the most part. There were a few times where we needed the room but they were cleaning. Not a big deal. The mini fridge was stocked well with sparkling water, apple and pear juice, diet coke, coke, and waters. We drink a lot of water, so housekeeping over stocked us with extras by mid-stay without a prompt. Nightly turn down service included another thorough cleaning of the room, along with lit candles, and dolces. The staff in this department are hard workers. The staff are what sets Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal apart from other hotels in our minds. We are not uber wealthy, but we have been lucky to have stayed at nice hotels in the past because of my job. I travel for work, grinding out most stays at Hampton Inn level hotels, so many of our nice stays are on points. Nothing comes close because of the people here. From beginning to end, the staff here were impressive, never missing a beat. If we looked around lost for mere seconds, someone would notice and ask how they could help. They would stop what they were doing to greet you. They remembered you by name. Small things, such as folding your napkin while you were away at the buffet were a nice touch. One day, my wife brought her yoga mat to breakfast, placing it on the ground. When we returned to our table, they had folded it and placed it on a stool. We are not the type of people that expect or are used to being catered to, but these were pleasantries that were nice to enjoy during our stay. They helped to unwind and relax from our normal day-to-day. To close out this long review, the service, amenities, and design of the hotel have made us already thinking about our next trip. They’ve made us repeat guests and I will be feverishly looking for 5-6 nights at the base rate for our next trip! Some of the outstanding team members that we interacted with include Sa’id, Oswaldo, Jefferson, Hugo, Daniel, Cesar, Hector, Irbin, Alejandra, and Luisa.

After several visits to the Los Cabos area, we finally booked the Waldorf to celebrate a milestone anniversary. The property, staff, breakfasts and whale watching from the pool exceeded our expectations. This place is special, and the wonderful staff from housekeeping to pool attendants made sure we were pampered. Extra shout out to Salvador and Cesar who made our breakfasts memorable.

Jorge, Raymundo, and Fransisco were incredible staff! From driving us to the entrance to planning our stay before arriving, the staff made our stay an incredible experience! Would definite recommend a dinner at Don Manuel’s, the food was great!!

Since we didn't get a chance to around our birthdays, we decided to do a late bday celebration over my holiday break. I have Hilton Diamond status and have always wanted to stay here. I was doing some random searching and found three nights open for a standard reward redemption at 120k points a night. I had a free night certificate as well, so I thought why not?! Let's do it. Their cancellation policy was 3 months out, so once I booked it, it was a done deal. It ended up being 240k points plus the FNC. I have to admit, I did stalk my reservation a bit. At one point before our stay, we were upgraded to King Deluxe Ocean View, but that was taken back and we eventually ended up with the room above. The room was on the top floor in the back of the resort, so we still had a nice view even tho we were far from the beach. The room itself was a good size. The plunge pool was an awesome perk as we could chill outside while enjoying the atmosphere. When you arrive, you get a welcome margarita. When you get to the room, there is a cute pink bottle of tequila with nuts. (They no longer do clase azul.) You also get a daily delivery of two mini coronas with chips, guac, and salsa. If you're not in the room, they'll leave it there for you to enjoy later. The mini fridge was stocked daily with two each of - diet and regular soda, beer, sparkling water, and I think some kind of juice? They also have glass bottles they refill with drinking water. Upon leaving, you get a sugar cookie shaped like a turtle which was very cute. Since we were celebrating our birthdays, they did give us some cute candles and a bday dessert during our last breakfast. While here, we did Room Service, Pool Service, El Farallon, and Don Manuels. Room service was tasty. We got a cobb salad with lobster, side of chicken, and fries for $107.42. This included tax and a 15% service charge as will all the totals below. Pool service was nice while lounging. Two casa amigo blancos, a macallan 12, and the pedregal burger for $153.27. For dinner at El Farallon, we just went all out and ordered whatever we wanted - a large water, a glass of bubbles, one wine tasting, the oysters and caviar, the surf and turf, and the snapper for $637.97. Afterwards, we hit up Don Manuels for a woodford reserve, macallan 12, and two cigars for $135.96. After we checked out, since our flight was later, we killed some time at DM again and got a mitchers rye and macallan 12 for $81.22. All prices above are in USD. Our personal concierge Danna was awesome. Avail via text any time. We'd let her know when we were gone so housekeeping could drop by. I believe we only did turndown service once. They left a cookie each as part of this service. We didn't finish our tequila bottle, so they bubbled wrapped it for us to take home. Due to my diamond status, we had free continental breakfast every morning. I believe it ended at 11am. The hubs and I did breakfast together the last day. Upgraded to the buffet for two for $52.40. By upgrading you get hot food, so we were able to have eggs, sausage, pancakes, etc. One of the days, I asked if I could get breakfast to go so we could eat it at the beach. They happily obliged. The packed up breakfast included - pastries, fruit, cereal, granola, yogurt, coffee. The service at all the restaurants and bars was amazing. Where the service was lacking was the pool and the beach. I'd have to flag someone down if I wanted to get chairs set up, food / drink service, etc. Also, if you like sitting on the beach, you may have a hard time finding a spot. The hubs and I are beach people, but the beach area for chairs is tiny. There were only about six chairs set up that initial day. When I asked about sitting there, they said there was no more room. We ended up in the pool area. Another day, they had about eight chairs, so luckily we got a spot. (Tho not sure why they couldn't have added two more chairs the first day.) The day we were leaving, they had even more chairs! Idk the logic as to capacity, but it seemed odd to be denied that first day. Don't get me wrong. This resort is beautiful. And most of the service was excellent. But considering this is a beach / pool resort, it shouldn't be that hard to find places to lounge by the beach or pool. They definitely need improvement on that. I did look and see how much this would have cost to book with money and it would have been close to $10.5k. I know we went during the holidays, but I don't think it's worth that price. For value, I probably would have rated this spot 3 stars, but I'll bump it up to 4 based on the beauty of the resort service outside of the beach / pool.

This place is absolutely stunning. The staff goes above and beyond to make guests comfortable. Pool drinks are a bit pricey - but, hey, it's the Waldorf. Their breakfast buffet is also very nice, with much variety. Easy 10-minute walk to the pier, where there are a lot of shops...

Best service, best food, best people! They really treat you like family and make sure you’re always taken care of and happy. They made our stay special and constantly checked if we needed anything. Salvador and Diego made breakfast fun every morning!

For our return visit, my wife and I decided to spend 3 nights here for her birthday. We had been here a few years ago for our anniversary and between free nights + points value, the need for a getaway and proximity to Las Vegas, decided it was the place for us to return Rooms: Amazing. A mini-bottle of tequila awaited us as we entered our upgraded room with it's own plunge pool. The views were breathtaking and the soundtrack of the ocean throughout the day could put anyone in a relaxing mood. Amenities: Not much going on at the property. The pool was actually freezing cold one day which put a bit of a damper on it, but we believe something was broken as the next day it was warm. We easily found lounge chairs with shade each day. One thing that we found annoying was service was lacking by the pool. We ghad to constantly "search" out a server to order something rather than being asked if we wanted anything. Again, similar to our last trip, there's ZERO resort activities and maybe some ambient music. As much as we like quiet, the resort was a bit TOO quiet! Food: Similar to our last experience, food and drinks are expensive and overall very hit and miss. I still don't understand why ordering three mixed tacos are more expensive than ordering three of the same style tacos. Someone explain! We ordered in to the room multiple nights and the service was fast and setup on our balcony was very nice. Also a nice touch, just press a button on the table after your meal and they come and clean everything up very quickly. People: I found every person that worked at the Waldorf to be very helpful and happy. Again, although service was lacking in some places, everyone was more than willing to help. A special thank you to Rey, our personal concierge for making the trip so seamless, and Libia the Director of Operations, for putting us in such a spectacular room! Everything about this hotel is top notch. We were immediately greeted outside of the airport as we chose to pay for their car service to the hotel and we are so glad that we did. It made it very easy. Upon arrival, being greeted with a margarita while I wait for my room?! Yes, please! I am a Diamond member and we got an upgrade, which was very nice (we used points so I wasn’t sure if they would be that generous). The rooms were beautiful and we loved the doors to the balcony that opened all the way up to really allow an indoor/outdoor living feel. The private plunge pool was wonderful and we used it multiple times every day. Breakfast was great every day and they were knowledgeable about our food allergies. We ate all of our meals on the property at The Beach Club or Don Manuel’s. Both were really great! The best part of the day was the afternoon chips and guacamole. They did deliver Corona with this as well, but I can’t have it due to my wheat allergy. I was disappointed that they didn’t offer a gluten free alcohol option for me even after I let them know that I wasn’t able to drink it. The resort was busy while we were there and while the rooms themselves were really quiet, we did experience some inconsiderate guests. Our neighbors played loud music through a Bluetooth speaker on their balcony and while we spent most of our time on our balcony and in our plunge pool (the two times we went down to the pool during a four night stay, we literally couldn’t find one open lounge chair). There was another guest somewhere around us who was constantly smoking cigarettes either on their balcony or directly in front of our door while sitting on a bench there. She was there every single time we left the room and the smell definitely permeated into our room. I hate being those people, so we didn’t complain and just dealt with it. I was hoping a staff member would have said something as she was out there so frequently, but it’s also the type of place where they wouldn’t want to upset their guests. We were able to watch a baby sea turtle release one day and it was a highlight! Other guests we talked to said their concierge told them it was happening, but we happened to walk by earlier that day and asked someone who was monitoring the Turtle Nursery, so if this is something that interests you, head to that area and ask if they are expecting any releases while you’re there. This was our first trip to Cabo and we can’t wait to return! I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. On departure, they gave us the cutest turtle shaped cookies (I couldn’t eat them but they were adorable!). I will say that the driver on our ride back was very friendly, but not super safe. He was passing in a lot of non passing zones at a high rate of speed, which didn’t make me feel very comfortable. Overall, I still can’t give this resort any less than 5 stars! Just don’t expect to save any money here!

We came here for our anniversary and to celebrate our first baby. The place was completely booked for a wedding but they upgraded us to 2 bedroom two story Casita. They had hand written cards for each event. We had flowers set out on our bed the second night which they did while we were at our dinner reservation. They had a concierge for us who was incredibly responsive at all hours. They asked about our dietary restrictions at every meal which made us feel so well taken care of with our pregnancy. This is also the only hotel gym I’ve seen that actually has barbells and bumper plates, huge plus. Fair warning. They do not play about their cleaning and customer service. There was a couple times we walked out our room and didn’t realize someone had come in and was wrapping up cleaning or restocking. So if you don’t want that then leave the door hanger on. They no longer offer the iconic Waldorf Astoria Toiletry bags but when I asked if they sold them in the store they found a final one in storage for me. Everything they did, from live music at dinner to most staff remembering our names from the first day we got there, to ensuring that we had water anywhere we went. Was a unique and special atmosphere. But this is the most lavished experience we’ve ever had!

Cannot recommend this resort enough! Best service and best accommodations there is. Stayed in several Waldorf Astorias and this one takes the cake. Miguel and the entire staff make sure that your stay is one to remember. If you are celebrating anything this is the resort to do it at.
