The Conrad Bora Bora Nui now sits firmly in the latter category. Having returned again after an already outstanding stay, this being my 8th visit, what is most striking is not the beauty of the setting—Bora Bora reliably delivers that—but the unmistakable sense that this resort is entering a more confident, fully realized phase of its life. This was not simply a return visit; it was an opportunity to observe how a luxury property evolves when leadership, investment, and culture align. The result is a guest experience that feels more deliberate, more fluid, and notably more polished than in previous years. The property has seen significant improvements just within the past 5 months, when I last visited for my wedding anniversary. The physical setting remains extraordinary. Positioned on its own stretch of Motu, the Conrad benefits from a degree of natural separation that subtly but meaningfully elevates the experience. Boat traffic is limited, sightlines are calmer, and the surrounding lagoon feels less like a shared thoroughfare and more like a private domain. The snorkeling directly in front of the resort continues to be among the strongest offered by any luxury property in Bora Bora—an important differentiator that seasoned travelers quickly recognize. Paul and Lucille, onsite reef ecologists, are available in the mornings to provide education and guidance. It is immersive without requiring effort, and that ease is part of the luxury. Accommodations, already strong, now feel more assured in their execution. Villas are meticulously maintained, immaculately presented, and functionally intelligent in ways that matter during an extended stay. Lighting is intuitive and layered, storage is generous, and the flow between indoor and outdoor space feels natural rather than theatrical. The sleeping experience—often overlooked in resort reviews—deserves mention here. The bed orientation, bedding quality, and acoustic insulation create a sense of genuine rest, something even some marquee luxury resorts fail to deliver consistently. What has noticeably improved is not the design itself, but the condition. Maintenance is proactive rather than reactive. Exterior surfaces, walkways, stairs, and high-use areas are visibly inspected and attended to with frequency. This level of care is easy to miss on a short stay, but unmistakable over time. It signals a property that understands longevity and guest safety as integral components of luxury. Housekeeping operates with quiet precision. Service is thorough, unobtrusive, and well-paced. Turn-down feels intentional rather than formulaic, with thoughtful atmospheric touches that enhance the evening without overwhelming it. Supplies—particularly towels and amenities for water activities—are replenished seamlessly, reflecting an understanding of how guests actually use the space rather than how it looks on paper. All those on the housekeeping team including Melie and her entire team deserve praise. The grounds themselves are a study in disciplined upkeep. Landscaping is immaculate without appearing overly manicured, and the beachfront is refreshed daily to a standard that suggests pride rather than obligation. This is the kind of detail that differentiates a truly high-end resort from one that merely photographs well. Dining, an area that has seen the most meaningful evolution, now reflects a higher level of confidence and consistency. Breakfast remains generous but is more restrained in its execution than in the past—a welcome refinement. The offerings feel curated rather than excessive, with improved balance between indulgence and quality. Local elements are integrated more thoughtfully, particularly in the hot dishes, which now deliver genuine flavor rather than novelty. I want to recognize the dining staff including Timia, Graziella, Sylvane, Poema, Ravahere, Mateata, Tarita, Maeva, Velma, Viahere, and Tehei. I apologize for misspellings and my list of exceptional staff are limited by my memory. Across the resort’s restaurants, menus continue to evolve intelligently. Rather than simply adding more items, the focus appears to be on improving execution, presentation, and pacing. The Iriati, the classic French restaurant onsite has notably raised its game, with stronger sourcing and more confident preparation. Our dining experience there was exceptional, with innovative dishes and a nimble kitchen that seamlessly accommodates dietary restrictions. Refreshed kitchen staff including a new head chef, Chef Coco, is leading the charge with innovation to exceed dining expectations and Fabien, who manages the magic of the pastry team. The Upa Upa, an overwater sushi restaurant, and the grill are likely going through extensive changes with their menus, so any insights I have may not be relevant once the resort reopens after upcoming renovations. I didn’t have a chance to dine at the Banyan, their Chinese restaurant, but I did enjoy refreshing drinks at the swim up bar regularly and it is not to be missed. Service in the dining venues deserves particular recognition. The front-of-house teams operate with a level of synchronization that speaks to strong leadership and training. Staff members remember preferences, anticipate needs, and manage volume with grace—no small achievement at a resort of this scale. The experience feels personal without becoming performative, polished without losing warmth. The spa remains a standout, both for its elevated physical position on the property and for the quality of its treatments. The approach here is unhurried and grounded, with therapists who demonstrate technical skill rather than relying on setting alone. Recreational offerings continue to be robust and thoughtfully managed. Complimentary water sports, snorkeling equipment, and kayaks including new kayaks with see through floors are readily available and well maintained. The presence of knowledgeable marine specialists adds depth for guests who want to engage more meaningfully with the environment. These interactions feel authentic and informed, not scripted. Those providing assistance by the pool and for water sports, Oliver, Heiarii, Upa, Tehau and Ramanui deserve an additional thanks! Connectivity, while not the primary reason one comes to Bora Bora, is adequate and reliable where it matters. Wi-Fi performance supports modern needs without intruding on the sense of escape. Cellular service is consistent, and the resort seems to understand that today’s luxury traveler values optional connectivity, not enforced disconnection. At the heart of the experience is the personal concierge program, which now feels more fully integrated into the overall service model. Communication is efficient, discreet, and responsive. The best hosts elevate the stay not through constant interaction, but through judgment—knowing when to step in and when to let the experience unfold naturally. This balance is increasingly rare, and when executed well, it is transformative. Our concierge was Zuzana, who has been mentioned before in other reviews remains a standout with her grace and attention to detail, enhancing an already exceptional experience. Leadership presence is evident without being intrusive. Management engagement feels genuine, and there is a clear sense that guest feedback is not only solicited but acted upon. The resort is clearly in a phase of reinvestment, with additional infrastructure enhancements planned. Importantly, ongoing renovations during this stay had an even lighter footprint than before, with minimal impact on daily enjoyment—an impressive operational feat. Active renovation work was being performed at the far ends of the resort, with significant distance between bungalows and active work, providing both visual and acoustic separation. Guests would need to actively seek out areas under remodel for their stay to have any impact. What ultimately distinguishes the Conrad Bora Bora Nui at this stage is its maturity. This is no longer a resort proving itself. It is one refining itself. The experience feels cohesive, intentional, and grounded in an understanding of what discerning travelers value most: consistency, comfort, discretion, and a sense of being genuinely cared for. There are many exceptional resorts in Bora Bora. Few demonstrate the discipline and self-awareness required to get better when they are already excellent. The Conrad does. For those who return, the progression is unmistakable. For those considering a first visit, this is a property operating at the top of its game—and still moving forward. In an environment where luxury is often conflated with excess, the Conrad Bora Bora Nui stands out for something far more difficult to achieve: refinement.

Our stay at Conrad Bora Bora Nui was absolutely amazing and truly unforgettable. While the resort itself is stunning, one of the main reasons we would return is Zuzana. She is an exceptional guest relations manager and a genuinely wonderful and beautiful person. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, she took incredible care of us and made us feel truly special. Her warmth, attention to detail, and genuine kindness elevated our entire experience, and she alone is a reason to come back. The resort offers a fantastic pool, a beautiful beach, and breathtaking views everywhere you look. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is pure paradise. The food was very good, and the service throughout the resort was excellent. Everything about this stay exceeded our expectations. Conrad Bora Bora Nui is an incredible destination, and thanks to Zuzana, it became a place we cannot wait to return to.

Had an exceptional babymoon vacation at the Conrad. What stands out is the intimacy amongst the staff and the guests. The staffs hosts a myriad of bonding events and we can genuinely feel their warmth throughout our stay and it is consistent throughout the property. Huge shoutout to zuzanna for the great tour of the wonderful property and Lydia for all the guest service arrangements. She checks on our wellbeing, room and services whenever she strolls by during breakfast. We had good conversation with Lydia on how her past experiences led her to elevate customer experience. Florie at breakfast was another standout with exceptional service and attentiveness; she checks on us throughout every breakfast service and brings delight to start the day. Finally, Thank you Roger for running such a fantastic property and upholding such great service and consistency; you have helped elevate our babymoon and left a fond lifetime memory for us. We had a wonderful honeymoon stay at the Conrad, and overall it was an incredible experience. The overwater bungalow was amazing, the turn-down service was excellent, and the rooms were beautiful. The food at every restaurant we visited was absolutely delicious, and the staff members we interacted with were very friendly. However, there were a few disappointments. We were told that we needed to sign the upgrade paperwork before arriving, even though we were already on our honeymoon in Moorea and didn’t have easy access to a computer to review and sign documents. We felt we should have been given the option to sign in person at check-in, especially under those circumstances. Unfortunately, the contract—something I should have reviewed more closely—listed the upgrade at $600 per night, even though we had been told over the phone that it would be $62 per night. We confirmed the $62 rate with the customer service representative multiple times because we couldn’t believe the upgrade could be that inexpensive. When I signed the contract late at night, I didn’t scrutinize it closely, especially since it was in their local currency and I had been told $62, so it didn’t raise any red flags at the time. Receiving the final bill felt very deceiving given the large discrepancy. Had we known the true cost and realized the bungalow offered less privacy than promised, we never would have upgraded just for the pool. Our original overwater bungalow without a pool would have been a much better value and far more worth it. When we expressed our frustration about the miscommunication, the customer service response felt dismissive rather than solution-oriented. While they eventually adjusted some of the charges, the initial interaction felt unprofessional. We also experienced poor service at one of the restaurants on our first night. It took 20 minutes to get water, and I had to ask three separate times for a fork while my food sat and got cold. Although they did comp the drinks, it wasn’t the best first impression. Another issue occurred when our wristbands stopped working in the rain, and later we didn’t receive turn-down service—despite having a text thread confirming our request. Being told we “denied it” was especially frustrating. That said, the property itself is stunning, and most of the local staff were warm and welcoming. The resort was under construction during our stay, so that may have contributed to some of the inconveniences. For the price, we’re not sure we would stay here again and might explore another resort in Bora Bora next time. I do want to highlight Mateata from breakfast—she provided exceptional service every single morning. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and her attentiveness and kindness truly stood out. She made us feel so welcome and taken care of, and she absolutely deserves recognition. The Conrad is a beautiful property, and we did enjoy our time overall, but certain aspects—especially customer service surrounding our room upgrade—could definitely be improved.

From the moment we arrived, we knew this was the most stunning place we had ever seen. The entire resort is breathtaking—peaceful, beautifully designed, and truly serene. Every single staff member we interacted with was absolutely delightful. They were all so sweet, helpful, and welcoming that it made our honeymoon feel extra special. We loved all of the restaurants, and they were incredibly accommodating of my gluten-free diet due to celiac disease. The breakfast buffet was amazing, and once again the staff went above and beyond—making gluten-free crepes and pancakes for me every morning. This level of care made our stay so much more enjoyable and meaningful. We stayed in one of the overwater bungalows, and it was everything we hoped for and more. The bathroom was gorgeous and modern, and I especially loved the scent of the Byredo Mojave Ghost toiletries. Such a luxurious touch! Another thing we really appreciated was how easy it was to get around the resort. There were bikes available everywhere, which made exploring so fun, and staff were always happy to pick us up in a golf cart whenever needed. It was also very walkable, and we felt completely safe the entire time. We also loved that the resort offers complimentary activities like snorkeling, paddle boarding, and kayaking. It made it so easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings without any added cost. We absolutely loved this resort and would recommend it to anyone who asks. It truly made our honeymoon unforgettable!

It was our first time in Bora Bora and let me tell you that it was beyond our expectation. We were in the villa on the mountain side with a pool. At first, my husband wanna to stay in an overwater villa but we were happier with the our land villa. We've felt like we were on top of the world as we were on top of the mountain. The amenities were nice, the villa was well furnished but the view was the best. The hotel itself is clean and the staff so nice and friendly. However, we felt like the road need more maintenance as there were a lot of tiles missing. The greeter that we had at the hotel, I believe her name was mary was the least favorite person that we met there. She was not helpful at all. She said that we could reach to her for anything but she never replied to our messages. However, a special thanks to the manager of the reception, I think her name is Bozek. She was the most elegant and graceful manager ever. She was handling our itinerary for activities and dinner reservation like noone else. Her exceptional service and professionalism made us felt at peace during our stay and some manager that we met should really learn from her. Marourou roua Bozek. Your are the best!

We had a beautiful stay in an upgraded gulla overlooking the ocean. Meals and service were all excellent, and we want to specifically call out Manate for her warmth, hospitality, friendliness and humanity. She is an absolute gem and the reflective of the true spirit of Bora Bora. We hope to return again soon. No construction noise or issues with cleanliness (everything was spotless and well-manicured) but expect the roosters to wake you up early like a typical alarm clock!

Our stay at the Conrad Bora Bora was absolutely wonderful. The resort is stunning, surrounded by crystal-clear water and breathtaking views. The villas are spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious with a great variety of options. Everything about this resort exceeded our expectations — a true paradise!

My husband and I just returned from 8 nights at the Conrad Bora Bora. We bought a package through Costco Travel, so we didn’t receive any incentives or points through the hotel. This was definitely one of our favorite vacations, and it was a standout as having the friendliest staff of any place we’ve visited. From the moment we pulled up in the boat around 10am, they made us feel special, gave us a welcome drink, and booked restaurant reservations for us. They made sure to let us know we were a priority and they would do their best to get us in a room as soon as possible (even though check-in time was 3pm). Our concierge walked us to the breakfast restaurant, and shortly after we were done they had our villa ready for us, and our bags already in the room. The rest of our stay was just lovely. The villa was gorgeous of course, but the staff is really what made it so special. I’m very embarrassed to say that I don’t recall people’s names (this is a weakness of mine), but by the third day we were greeted by name at the breakfast and lunch restaurant, and they also knew our table and drink preferences. When walking around the property staff would always wave at us and greet us in passing. I also saw staff talking and laughing with each other when they passed. The overall feeling at this property is one of great warmth, and friendliness. We were told before we came that there was going to be some construction and we were a bit worried about this, but our stay was never impacted at all by it. I cannot recommend this property enough.

Getting to Bora Bora took us almost two full days, but from the moment we arrived at the Conrad, we knew it was worth every minute of travel. During our 10-day stay, we had the rare chance to experience all four seasons - sunshine, rain, clouds, and even one wild night of strong winds! While that windy night wasn’t exactly fun, the rest of our stay was absolutely magical. The resort itself is spotless - truly one of the cleanest places I’ve ever seen - and the attention to detail is remarkable. The moment we stepped off the boat, Daven greeted us and took care of us throughout our stay with such warmth and professionalism that we instantly felt at home. There may not be a huge variety of restaurants on the property, but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. We especially loved the Chinese and French cuisine, both prepared to perfection. A big thank to Sylvana from the French restaurant and the breakfast team led by Timia - they were the absolute stars of our mornings! Their smiles, cheerful “good mornings,” and thoughtful care made us start every day on the brightest note. Every staff member we encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely happy to make guests feel welcome. Even if you didn’t know anyone, everyone greeted you with a smile and a warm “hello.” That kind of hospitality truly makes a difference, If you’re looking for a peaceful, relaxing getaway where you can reconnect with nature and enjoy quality time with your partner or family, this is the perfect place. The views are breathtaking, the colors of the ocean look unreal, and the swimming and snorkeling are just fantastic. Thank you to the entire Conrad Bora Bora Nui team for making our vacation so special and unforgettable. It’s one of those “once-in-a-lifetime” destinations - and we can’t wait to come back one day!

WOW!!! How do you improve on a perfection? This was our third stay at the Conrad Bora Bora Nui in the last 13 months. We celebrated my birthday in September 2024 and returned in April to celebrate our anniversary. This time we returned because we love the resort, team members, and the magical guest experience. We were elated to learn that Zuzana Miksova had been promoted to Guest Experience Manager. Zuzana has hosted us in each of our stays and she is an exceptional talent. As a Lifetime Diamond member, I am happy to see that Hilton is putting an emphasis on developing, retaining, and promoting passionate team members that are extraordinarily skilled like Zuzana. She has a servant's heart and works very hard to create a unique experience for each guest. She is a benchmark performer and a model ambassador for the Hilton brand especially the luxury properties. During our first stay, Zuzana earned the nickname "Zuperwoman" and she continues to live up to it. We stayed in a renovated overwater bungalow in the 100 section. The outdoor deck area is improved with the decking replaced, a new shower, and upgraded netting and furnishings. The new user-friendly touch-screen control panel is a welcomed update. The decking on the bridge to the bungalows are safer after being replaced. The Housekeeping team is one of the best in the world. Although we missed the wonderful Director of Housekeeping on this stay, we felt Tita's presence and love. Lydia, aka, Mélie, and Anne Marie made sure that we were well taken care of. Lahaina was our housekeeper most days and she was outstanding. We were spoiled each day we returned to our room to the artful displays on the bed and her kind notes wishing us a great day and encouraging us to have fun. The Housekeeping team plays a critical role in setting the foundation for an elevated guest experience. Without doubt, they consistently perform at a world class level and we appreciate all the extra things that they do to make us feel special. The Recreation Team led by their affectionate Director of Recreation Françoise took great care of us during our entire stay. It was great to see all the team members again. Oliver, Tehau, Elna, Upa, Heiari, Christine, Rua, and Rama looked out for us on the beach all week long. On days when it rained, they always made sure we had dry towels whenever it stopped. Everything they do is from the heart and they are all exceedingly gracious. We were again please with our experiences at the Hina Spa. We were welcomed by several friendly faces as well some new ones. Anne-Sophie, Alicia, and Leilani were all kind and the Balinese massages we had with Deli and Jade were outstanding. We are impressed with the quality of the interns that the Hina Spa has had each visit. The spa offers some on the best views on the resort. We enjoyed meals at all restaurants as well as in room dining. Breakfast at Iriatai each morning was delicious. They have a large selection and the view over the turquoise water is stunning. We were always welcomed by all team members at each restaurant. Vaihere, Poema, Mante, Mateata, Timia, Velma, Ravahere, and Graziella are all amazing. On our last day, we were presented a fruit plate from the team at breakfast to tell us nana. The front office team does an excellent job and has always been very efficient with our check in and check out for all stays. Ramone checked us in and out during this stay and even came to see us off before we departed. We had also had a chance to speak with both Bozycke and Skyano during this stay. A special thanks to Skyano for proactively helping with a concern that I communicated with Zuzana. We have spent a total of 31 nights at the Conrad Bora Bora Nui during our 3 stays. We have added some new stays at prestigious properties in 2025 with the Conrad and Waldorf Astoria Orlando and the Conrad and Waldorf Astoria New York which just reopened after an extensive renovation. All these properties offered their own unique and impressive guest experiences; however, they are all missing the Conrad Bora Bora's secret weapon...Zuperwoman! Zuzana is indeed a generational talent and a consummate professional. Her humbleness and passion for hospitality are admirable. She remains extremely motivated and her desire to create happiness for others is paramount. Zuzana is a megastar that consistently performed at a distinguished level. I do not see how she manages everything. Whether she was providing a ride, making reservations, delivering ice, or decorating our room, Zuzana was always there for any and everything. When I contacted the property on the Hilton website live chat before arrival, I was shocked that the response was answered by Zuzana. I figured there must be another team member with the same name until I asked and she confirmed that I was indeed chatting with Zuperwoman! I believe that Zuzana may actually be a Genie that has escaped her bottle. She has a great rapport with her team and all other departments. In her new role, Zuzana is ever present and provides a model example of servant leadership. The Guest Experience team of Daven. Adrijan, Penelope, Sophie, Ester, and Melissa were all very courteous and helpful. The sincere connection we have developed with Zuzana is the main reason we have already booked our reservation to return in April to celebrate our anniversary when the resort reopens. All the guests we interacted with at the resort or at the Tahiti airport shared similar sentiments. The guest experience executed by Zuzana Miksova was flawless. We all agreed that she is the "GOAT"!

Our daily interactions with Guest Experience Manager Mrs. Zuzana Miksova is always the highlight of our trip. Hospitality isn't what she does it is part of her DNA. This was our third stay and Zuzana has raised the bar each time. She reached out to us before our arrival to assist with excursions, restaurant reservations and to schedule our spa appointment. Zuzana was waiting to welcome us as soon as the stepped off the boat. She took exceptional care of us from that moment until she placed our necklaces on at our departure. Zuzana is very talented and continues to amaze us with her creativity. She personalizes the guest experience like no one else. We have stayed any many luxury properties with personal concierge services but the guest experience with Zuzana is the standard by which all others are measured against. She is the benchmark!!! We observed Zuzana often going above and beyond to assist other guests answering inquiries, providing a ride, or capturing photos. She is kind, authentic, hardworking and an absolute "gem". Her special touches and surprises definitely personalized each guest experience. Zuzana has a passion for hospitality and making each guest feel important and valued. Everything that she does is from the heart and she has a genuine interest with making a personal connection with every guest. Guest Experience Zuzana Miksova is a Rock-star!!! She is the reason we will continue to return to the Conrad Bora Bora Nui.

We’ve been visiting the Conrad Bora Bora for six years now—six visits in total—and while we have always loved the property, it wasn’t until we met Zuzana, the Guest Relations Manager, in 2023 that the resort truly reached a 5-star standard. Zuzana embodies genuine hospitality. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail elevate every stay into a luxurious and personalized experience. From arranging excursions and restaurant reservations to adding thoughtful touches in our villa, she consistently goes above and beyond. What makes Zuzana truly exceptional is that her care extends to every guest, not just us. We’ve seen her throughout the property—personally escorting guests in a cart, customizing experiences, and ensuring each person feels special and cared for. She gives every guest a tailored luxury vacation experience unlike anywhere else. We stayed for 3 nights and experienced the most wonderful customer care ever! From arrival to departure you are treated with a smile and helfulness, we never met before! There is nothing the stuff won't accomplish to guest satisfaction! We initially had an appartment on the land, due to a small technical issue we changed, being upgraded (!!!) to a waterfront villa! Rooms are perfect, irrespective of range. Breakfast is with large choice, foe all tasts. Concierge is extremely helpful, just call 9. Special thanks to Kevin, the manager, who understood and met our needs. The joy people show you here, while at the same tine being very professional, make your vacation worth eevery penny!

From the moment we were picked up at the airport in Bora Bora, the Conrad staff took care of our every need. Ester made dinner reservations, the cleaning staff placed our slippers bedside and lit incense for turndown service, wait staff greeted us by name and every employee greeted us when they passed by. The service here is truly 5 staff and the accommodations are jaw dropping! Our overwater bungalow was gorgeous, as was the crystal blue water beneath it. The food was delicious and beautifully presented at every meal. This trip was on our bucket list and it lived up to our every imagination. Thank you Conrad for a trip of a lifetime.

We had a wonderful stay at the Conrad! The staff was amazing, and Sophie in particular went above and beyond to make us feel cared for. When my wife had a minor allergic reaction to some of the products in our bungalow, the team quickly found hypoallergenic alternatives, which we truly appreciated. Our overwater bungalow was stunning, and we already miss waking up to those beautiful views. Highly recommend this resort for both its beauty and exceptional service!

We had a wonderful stay at the Conrad Bora Bora. From the moment we arrived, Daven warmly welcomed us and took care of us throughout our visit, making everything feel seamless. The service across the resort was excellent, and the staff as a whole were genuinely attentive and friendly. The location is stunning, and snorkeling here is some of the best we’ve experienced in Bora Bora—definitely better than what we’ve found at other resorts in FP. Our Diamond benefits were fully recognized, which we really appreciated, and the thoughtful touch of providing a transit room on our last day made departure so much more comfortable. There are some ongoing renovations at the property right now. They didn’t bother us much during our stay, but they may be noticeable to some travelers. We look forward to returning when everything is fully refreshed in 2026. Overall, the Conrad delivers on both luxury and hospitality. We left very happy and would gladly return.

Room was clean but for a luxurious and expensive hotel, I didn’t expect the hand wash to be broken. Very poor Wi-fi connection at the beach. The response via What App communication was delayed. A piece of feedback for the staff called guest relations – they should be more personalized and proactive, reach out and ask how the guest is doing, whether they need anything, or offer suggestion etc .

Amazing resort! Immaculate rooms, wonderful staff, great food! One of a few places that the actual resort lives up to or even exceeds the online photos. Can’t say enough about the over the top service and friendliness of the staff, from Esther our concierge to Olivier at the pool as well as Paul and Caroline in the ocean activity center.
