I can’t say enough good things about my experience! The resort is like heaven on earth.. beautifully manicured property with a staff that makes you feel like VIP. Tranquil spa with lots of amenities so you feel like you are the only guest there. Concierge readily available to help plan unique experiences that make great memories. Thierry is so kind and welcoming. He was never too busy to stop and check in to make sure we had everything we needed. We had one MINOR concern with our over water bungalow, and every day thereafter, they checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable. I’ve traveled a lot.. but this is one of those special places I would go back again and again. Thank you Four Seasons.. you never disappoint!

The staff is amazing The property is beautiful Food was good and very expensive It’s definitely not 5 star but more likely 4.5 Don’t go during the rainy season. There’s absolutely nothing to do and the resort makes no accommodation other than umbrellas. The entire premise is based on sunny days. Plan on walking A LOT! bicycles need to be provided. You also are constantly passed by golf carts that can barely fit both of you on the board walks The spa and fitness center is a very long way from the bungalows. The spa has limited availability especially if it rains. The fitness center is reasonably equipped but not for a 5 star. The fitness center needs to be sanitized multiple times. People leave sweat on all the equipment Probably consider another resort for the price

I don’t write many reviews but this place really was paradise on Earth - it almost seems like a different planet. The full experience (location, staff, amenities, weather, food, vibe, activities, room, etc) was absolutely perfect for us. We thought long and hard and could just not think of something to improve - they have considered every detail to make your stay unforgettable. It’s not cheap - because they are going all out with everything, all the time. Having stayed at many luxury resorts where you pay for the brand - at the Four Seasons Bora Bora you pay for the experience of a lifetime, who cares how much that costs? Thank you to the whole team for our wonderful stay - we WILL be back one day :)

Amazing spot!! The setting is obviously the star but everything about this place is incredible. Rooms are elegant, food was wonderful, the gym that looks out over the ocean actually makes you look forward to working out. The resort set up spa services (a couples massage with a coconut bath) and 2 different excursions for us and all were wonderful. The real gem though is the staff. They are constantly trying to do anything possible to make your vacation perfect! We jokingly referred to it as a “five seasons” because it seemed a little nicer than even our favorite Four Seasons resorts.

Omg unbelievably gorgeous !!! We did have a little rough start to our stay but the staff was amazing and they were so kind and definitely went above and beyond to make the rest of our stay as smooth as possible. We were very happy with all of the excursions we went on especially the private sunset cruise dinner, would highly recommend!! My fiancé and I got engaged on this trip - and we loved it so much we are already planning on going back for our first anniversary.

My partner and I stayed at the Four Seasons Bora Bora to celebrate a big milestone birthday this past December. From the time we booked in August to the conclusion of our stay it was an incredible experience. The property is absolutely breathtaking - from the sweeping views of the lagoon and the mountain to the private lagoon that is home to coral and over 200 species of fish! The bungalows are also beautiful and incredibly well taken care of. They're something straight out of a movie. Wow! The concierge group made sure our stay was logistically flawless and were a great resource in helping us identify/schedule tours and other local events. Immediately upon arrival and throughout the duration of our stay we were treated with unbelievable service that made us feel special each and every moment. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate any request and they made my partner feel EXTRA special on her birthday with a few surprises throughout the day! A few folks that I would like to specifically thank are Sarabelle from concierge, Laura and Jeanne from Vaimiti, Angele from Arii Moana and Tetu from the beachfront. You were all wonderful and played a big part in making our stay memorable. Thank you! Finally, a special thank you to Adrien Champion. We had so much fun chatting and getting to know you throughout the week! It is evident that you love what you do and truly find joy in providing great service. Building connections with great individuals like yourself is what traveling is all about. Thank you for continuously going the extra mile and spending time with us during your busy day. Property: * Room was huge and clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable as you would expect in FS. * Bath tub can fit 2 people -- enjoy unobstructed view of the lagoon while soaking in the tub. * We stayed in a room close to the end of the pontoon which gave us more privacy and enjoy deeper water -- from the deck we jumped into the lagoon dozens of times each day. It was a longer walk to/from the restaurants but we liked it because it's just a beautiful property with gorgeous scenery. * Landscape was immaculate. * May is high season but it never felt crowded -- the main beach was a little busy but not crowded, and there are spots in the property that you can swim by yourselves. * No mosquitoes! Dining: * Food and service at Arii Moana was mediocre. Desserts were great though. * Food at Vaimiti was better and we felt a more personal connection with the staff there than Arii Moana. Minor issues: * FS allows you to order meals, book a spa or contact housekeeping via the app, but the app didn't work most of the time * The laundry facility close to our room was out of order during our entire stay. * Cocktails are weak. Maybe that's a good thing because this is not a place to get hammered. Tips: * If you booked OWB, plan for at least one breakfast in your terrace and try the Bora Bora Influence. * You may have read posts saying food is very expensive. If you've stayed in a FS property in any US city, then you know what to expect. Ask for the restaurant menu in advance so you can plan your dinner reservations and budget. * Bring enough clothes for your entire stay. Don't plan on spending time in paradise to do laundry. * Bring water shoes -- beach sand is not powder fine. * Book your spa visit in advance. * Book a private lagoon tour in advance. With a private boat you get to tour at your own pace and have plenty of space for your gear in a small boat. Bring a GoPro with extra batteries -- you will need it when you swim with reef sharks.

The best! Not sure how to put our experience into words. The property is beautiful, the amenities are excellent, and the staff are great! I wish we were there for a lot longer than the 4 nights we stayed. Can't wait to go back! For such a relaxing vacation, I was surprised by how much fun we had. The other guests were also great and the property does a great job of making it not feel busy/full even when they are.

Five out of Five indeed! From the boat from the airport, to checking in, all the way thru check out and the boat ride back to the airport could not have been better. The staff is the best, so kind, so helpful, and always cheerful. The food also could not have been better. Always tasty, fresh, and delicious. The grounds of the resort, the beaches were all beautiful. Tahia and the shop next to it have many beautiful souvenirs to consider. I bought a Tahitian black pearl pendant, and my wife loves it. Shuhei (sp?) was helpful, as was Beatrix next door. Our room was always fresh and clean. The housekeeping staff was very good. Everyone we encountered, were professional, kind, and informative. We are coming back next year! Maururu

The staff at the Four Seasons resort in Bora Bora are simply incredible! We stayed in bungalow 430 for ten days! Patricia the concierge is amazing, she makes sure your every wish is met and even exceeded! We had a lot of rain during our stay and we told Patricia at breakfast that we were just going to do a movie night, and order in pizza. Well she made sure we had popcorn for our movie night, they sent a bottle of champagne! And Vanuatu and Vairea, the two girls from in house dining were spectacular! They set the table like it was a five star restaurant! We were just so impressed, we couldn’t believe the service at the Four Seasons resort! My partner Merena is gluten free and everyone made sure that they catered to her allergies like we were all one big family! The sun did poke out for a day and we had booked jet skis with Tamu for one hour and he guided us all over the inner ring of Bora Bora! I would highly recommend Tamu for your jet ski tour guide! We had done the intro to scuba diving with King, he was so patient with us as we had never scuba dived before and he took his time to show us how to use the gear. Couldn’t ask for a better instructor! The next day we did an actual scuba dive with Po and Flo who took us out on the boat and we did a 40 minute dive! We were down about 20 feet for a full 40 minutes! It was so incredible, Po showed us so much life on the sea floor, and Flo the captain of the boat was so helpful with getting our gear on and taking it off! They were both so incredible! We also did the group snorkelling twice, once with Cyril and once with Amber, the marine biologists that are both very passionate about their profession and showed and explained all of the sea life in the lagoon. Snorkelling in the lagoon was like swimming in an Aquarium or fish tank. Then we did the Learn all about Coral with Amber and what an experience, OMG! She made it so fun and we learned so much about coral. Even Alex the resort manager who realized that we were lost, gave us a ride to the Viamitri for After Glow night! I can’t say enough about Paulette and all the staff at Ari Maona restaurant for taking care of us every day for breakfast, dinner and sometimes even lunch. All the staff at the pool bar, the spa, and even the cart drivers that gave us rides back to our bungalow every night were absolutely spectacular! We felt like we were royalty at the Four Seasons Resort for the entire 10 days we were here. It was my 60th birthday on December 10 and I wanted to turn 60 at the Four Seasons Resort in Bora Bora, which has always been a dream of mine. We were treated so well by absolutely every staff member on the resort that we are coming back during their peak sunny season! If I were to rate the Four Seasons Resort out of 5 stars, I would have to give them 5 stars 5 times over! That’s how much they deliver over and above your expectations!

Paradise, maybe! I can not describe how beautiful the resort is. Amazing! Everything in this place is just so magical and serene. The service from everyone and I mean everyone was so friendly, professional, and nice. We came as guests but left as friends. All the villas are so nicely done. Rustic, luxurious, comfy. I contacted the hotel in advance to organise surprise for my wife and it didnt disappoint. The breakfast its delicious, all the food in all the restaurants is of high quality and sooo fresh. Wanted to mention Jeanette from the Vaimiti restaurant. Amazing friendly service! Overall for us was one of the most beautiful vacations that we had and would definitely return! Kudos to the whole team!

This resort lives up to all expectations and then some. The staff is amazing. The  concierge message line answers every message literally instantaneously irrespective of the time of day/night.The grounds are pristense, the lagoons are full of a beautiful variety of topical animals. The over the water bungalow private pools are full of fresh water and heated so you can safely use them at all times. We also stayed at the Westin after we left the Four Seasons. The Westin is two resorts down and their private bungalow pools are not heated also the water is pumped in full of visible to the naked eye organisms directly from the sea.I inadvertently left my straightener at the Four Seasons and they brought it down to the Westin and put it in my room. This was really appreciated given the power surge at the Westin fried my other straightener.The room costs at the Four Seasons are slightly less than the Westin resort costs which is shocking given it is so much better.Thank you Four Seasons for making our stay a wonderful experience!

We finally decided to take that bucket-list vacation to the amazing Four Seasons Bora Bora. From the moment we were picked up at the airport to very sad moment when we said goodbye, the Four Seasons Bora Bora lived up to their stellar reputation and exceeded our expectations. The entire resort was immaculately clean and beautifully manicured with an abundance of lush greenery and flowers framing the unbelievable turquoise waters of the lagoon. My husband and I stayed at the lagoon view overwater bungalow suite with a plunge pool, and the views of Mt. Otemanu were breathtaking. We loved waking up and taking a swim in the lagoon and then watching the sunset every day in our plunge pool….and the stargazing on clear nights is spectacular! Daily breakfast at Tera Nui Restaurant was outstanding! The crepes were better than ones I’ve had in France. Plenty of food and beverage choices on the buffet but we ordered the best individual omelets every day with freshly made smoothies and lattes. Fare Hoa Grill had fresh delicious Poke Bowls for lunch and Grilled Spiny Lobster for dinner – seafood lovers rejoice! Vaimiti, the Asian overwater restaurant was our favorite. Gwendolyn at Vaimiti was the best server ever! She made our dining experiences memorable. Shout out to Elizabeth’s expertly crafted cocktails in Vaimiti as well. She was truly a delight. As a side note, all the restaurants had a very nice selection of French wines at comparable prices to the States. Prior to our arrival, all of the concierge were very helpful via email with recommendations, questions, and arrangements. We scheduled a Private Motu Dinner where we were picked up in a canoe at sunset and enjoyed specially prepared candlelit dinner with excellent service provided by Tony. We also booked the Overwater Spa Suite and enjoyed the couples Taurumi Mind and Body treatment. The local products, treatments, and massage therapists were top-notch. Imagine lying face down on massage table looking at glass floor watching beautiful fish swim in coral garden all while having a relaxing body scrub and massage. We highly recommend doing the stingrays and sharks snorkel tour with lunch on a private island. We loved our guide “captain Bob” and we will never forget swimming with the blacktip sharks and stingrays and snorkeling the beautiful Bora Bora coral reef with fish every color of the rainbow - it was simply incredible. One tip – get a waterproof phone case so you can take amazing videos and pictures underwater. The pool and beach area had plenty of varied seating with and without shade, excellent service (thank you Felix) and the Wi Fi was excellent Some of the little daily luxuries offered pool and beachside included chilled towels, complementary fruit, samples of the daily bar shot, and freshly baked sweet treats Everywhere we looked beauty, peace, and tranquility. It was blissful happiness and joy the entire time we were there! All the Four Seasons Bora Bora’s staff are truly warm, gracious, kind, and lovely people. Everyone remembered our names and even food orders we like. It's the people and staff that really make your vacation feel special in this hotel paradise. We loved every second of our stay as we celebrated 30 years of marriage. Thank you, Four Seasons Bora Bora. We can’t wait to return!
