We would like to thank Ariel and his Activities Team for making our stay so enjoyable. They work very hard to ensure the activities are safe and a great learning experience for everyone. I would like to add that they shouldn't have changed the Kareoke from the Vista Lobby to El Eden. The last two weeks at El Eden was not very well attend while the Vista Lobby was alway filled. Also, they should involve the golf facility in the daily activities schedule

The swim up bar which is in phase 1 , was awesome. Met great people and Vladimir and Omar gave us exceptional service!!!!!!! Tonya the pool concierge was on top of everything!!! She made sure I had everything I needed as I was in a wheelchair!!!

He was amazing and boy could he make a delicious drink! Daniel, one of the concierges, was a tremendous help with booking a lot of our reservations! Armando and Omar were wonderful they were so attentive and kept our drinks flowing while we were at the pool! We absolutely loved our stay! This is our second stay here. We were last here 6 years ago and there are a few upgrades with the addition of the new building. For the most part we had a nice stay. The staff was really good. Some of our favorites were Fernando, Isabel, Felipe, Teresa, Gustavo and Mario. There are others but unfortunately I remember their names. The room was nice overall but our toilet never did work properly. It leaked from the bottom and wouldn’t flush. We called twice and it never did get fixed. Luckily my husband is handy and was able to limp it along for the time we were there. The food is generally very good. The only place we ate dinner at that wasn’t very good including the service was Los Riscos. The service was very bad here and the food mediocre. The night we dined here was chilly. My husband asked for a blanket. A half hour later it never came. My husband went to take one off the back of another chair where no one was sitting and was told our server would bring us one. Another 20 minutes or so still no blanket. So my husband went and took one from another chair without getting caught. La trajinera was our favorite. Wonderful service and amazing food. We only spent time at the adult pool which is amazing. But you do have to go early and save a lounger or you won’t get one. Good service with good drinks and food. We did the basic all inclusive plan and definitely enjoyed it. We ate at Jacks in the marina twice and also Los Deseos. Both are very good. We took Uber several times and it works very well. To leave the property you have to take a golf cart out to a shack with a guard and they pick you up there. So now to the not so good part. You should watch your bill very closely. First we were charged for water even though it was included with our package. Then we were charged for a special dinner Mesa del Patron which I had already paid for online. Then we closed out our bill before checking out and paid in full. Then we got home to another $81.25 charge. I emailed the hotel and they said no you’re all paid in full. I disputed it with my credit card company but we still ended up being charged as we have no proof that hat we didn’t incur or authorize the charge. We’ve stayed several other places in Cabo and never had this issue. Unfortunately we will not be returning to this resort.

Excellent service from all the drivers, bell boys - Locadio Aguilao and others, housekeeping, front desk, etc. The Chef made an incredible dessert which had figs and phyllo dough, it was amazing! We are going back in two weeks. We can’t wait!

Wow! We had an absolutely fantastic time at Hacienda Encantada this past February. This trip was originally planned a year earlier, but unfortunately, my wife came down with pneumonia and was not allowed to travel. Despite having a non-refundable booking, Hacienda Encantada made rescheduling effortless, allowing us to transfer our reservation without any hassle. Their flexibility and customer service truly set them apart. We have now visited this resort multiple times and continue to love it. We’ve recommended it to countless friends and family, including my wife’s cousins, who have been returning yearly for eight years—and they’ve brought friends along, too! We personally prefer the coastal location over the downtown Marina property, as it offers a more serene and breathtaking experience. What We Love: - Breathtaking Ocean Views – The resort offers stunning ocean views from nearly every angle. February is peak whale-watching season, and we had the bonus of spotting whales spouting daily—like a free ocean safari! - Impeccable Cleanliness & Attention to Detail – The property is spotless. Every day, we saw staff meticulously cleaning everything, even ceramic pots—no detail is overlooked. - Comfortable & Spacious Accommodations – Our suite had a lovely ocean view, plenty of space, and a fantastic patio for morning coffee or evening relaxation. (Our only hiccup—an overly chatty neighbor who took loud early-morning calls on his patio. We politely asked him to lower his volume one morning as my wife was still sleeping.) - Delicious Dining Experiences – The all-inclusive dining was excellent! - Breakfast: It was a tough choice between Las Marías and Mestizo. Mestizo offers an elevated view in a beautiful setting, while Las Marías provides an incredible cliffside outdoor experience. We gave the edge to Las Marías because we love dining outdoors, especially coming from a colder climate. Both buffets were great, with fresh fruit selections and a fantastic omelet bar. - Lunch: Poolside options were consistently great—every taco we tried was delicious, the sushi was fresh, and the service was top-notch. - Dinner: We dined at Mestizo, Los Riscos, Barolo, Il Forno, and Jack’s Steakhouse (in the Gold Circle area). Our unexpected favorite was Los Riscos—outdoor dining with an amazing team made it a standout - we went back a 2nd time. Mestizo was wonderful as well, with an upscale atmosphere and live flute music one evening. Surprisingly, we had a fantastic filet at Il Forno, which we hadn’t initially planned on for dinner, but we frequently had drinks there, loved the staff and when we saw the dinners coming out one night, we made it a must, on Valentine's Day even. The only slight miss was our fish catch of the day entrée at Barolo, which was a bit dry, and the service there was slower than at other restaurants. Premium Upgrade – Worth It! – We upgraded for the first time since the couple we traveled with wanted to try it. It turned out to be well worth it! We used the spa daily, did a horseback ride, participated in a Temazcal ritual (which exceeded expectations), and enjoyed premium menu options throughout our stay. - Safe & Scenic Running Routes – As an active jogger, I loved the ability to safely run 3-5 miles each morning on the property and horse trails, enjoying stunning views along the way. I even saw deer multiple times. - Fantastic Tequila Tasting – Moises led an exceptional tequila tasting session—one of the best we’ve experienced. Outstanding Staff & Service – Special shoutout to Isabelle, Enrique, Mauricio (at Los Riscos), Isabelle and Moises for their fantastic service. They quickly learned our names and favorite drinks, making us feel truly valued. Incredible Whale Excursion – We booked a whale-watching tour off-property and were lucky enough to witness three humpback whales breaching—an unforgettable experience! Warm Touches – On cooler evenings, the staff immediately offered blankets at outdoor bars and dining areas—such a thoughtful touch! Areas for Improvement: Chair Reservations at the Pool – Like many resorts, guests "reserve" poolside chairs and don’t show up for hours. On several occasions, we noticed unused chairs being held with towels. When we planned to stay for a short time, we just took these chairs, ready to give them up if needed. This is a worldwide resort issue, but it would be great to see a more equitable system in place. Respect for Hardworking Staff – It amazes us how some guests don’t appreciate the hardworking staff. These employees go above and beyond every day—relax, be kind, and enjoy your vacation! Final Thoughts: Hacienda Encantada remains one of our all-time favorite vacation spots. We will absolutely return, and we constantly recommend it to others. Everyone we’ve sent here has loved their experience! Would we recommend Hacienda Encantada? Absolutely. Already counting down to our next trip!

Our Reception was amazing!! Rebeca is awesome, helpful and friendly! We love this resort so much. Will come back multiple times. Driver was helpful and professional. We were greeted with fresh margaritas which started the trip off perfectly!

Great food, better service. The food was delivered fresh and presented wonderfully. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The views and the resort are enough to enjoy your stay without leaving. The only negative is our stay has an end date.

The Vista part of the resort is very nice. The pool on the top of the building has great views in both directions!! How ever they do not control the temperature of the pool water, and it becomes so hot that it is not refreshing on a hot sunny day....

We had to leave in the afternoon to go down to their lower pools that were refreshing and felt great. The staff are very polite and friendly!!

As relaxation and great views go, there is no better resort in Cabo San Lucas. The panoramic views that the report offers are unique. The serenity a guest gets at this resort is unmatched. Cleanliness and the utmost care of the grounds make it a perfect place to relax. Don't go looking for a lot of resort action, though. The eating places in the resort are very good, other than the Barolo Restaurant, which has a perfect atmosphere but not-so-perfect dishes. Being Italian, I was dismayed by their failure to approximate the quality of Italian food. The breakfasts at Maria's restaurant, instead, were out of this world. The service was optimal, and the food was fresh and appetizing. Altogether, the experience at Hacienda Encantada was positive and rewarding.

The check-in was really nice and not to much pressure for booking activities or time shares very well presented and no surprises at check out. Food at all restaurants(breakfast buffets top notch) was very good and could say for all inclusive it was some of the best I have had and great service and drinks at them all as well as around the pools. The waiters and staff are excellent and make sure they don't oversell premium if you are on all inclusive which includes great selection and choices. The different pools have something for everyone as you can go to all adult or mix it up with other pools. Concierge great no problems booking dinners usually get exactly what you want and the pickle ball and real natural mini golf pitch and putt was cool. The shuttle to Cabo San Lucas is a great service works very well at no cost and having access to use restaurants in Marina (Golden Mile) was great especially Oyster and Seafood Bar(great!!!) We used the common gym which was great. This is a very big property to get around but noticed on this visit there is a lot of golf cart shuttles and drivers are great and always checking if you need a ride and to take you around if you cant walk the distances however we made a point of walking everywhere and nothing to tasking.

The location is magnificent, the views of the ocean sunrises and sunsets and the daily whales breaching are always spectacular, everyone from the gardeners, the cleaners, the administrators, the managers and all the people that make this resort function are refreshingly polite, courteous, friendly and sincere. Some do not speak good English and most guests do not speak much if any Spanish. And yet the kindness emotions transcend any language challenges. People always make or break a great vacation destination. I highly recommend the Hacienda Encandata for the location, the views, the activities, and especially the people for a great relaxing vacation

We enjoyed 6 weeks at Hacienda Encantada resort! We are both 76 years old and physically active. We enjoyed in particular very much each one hour six times a week, Yoga, Tai chi and Pilates on alternating days (Ramon is an excellent instructor) followed by one and a half hours of Pickle ball play with helpful and friendly instructors Adrien and Ariel and four times a week aqua fit made to be so much fun by instructors Ariel and Monserrat! It’s beautiful! So much blue sky and ocean!

The entrance of the resort is very beautiful. You are greeted and helped with your luggage. Check in was very easy and a breeze Rebeca helped us out and was very pleasant to work with. Very helpful would definitely recommend. Must visit when in Cabo

Rebeca is the best! She took great care of us and made sure our trip went smoothly. She also gave us great recommendations for restaurants and excursions in the area. The leanest burger in the world can be the meanest burger in the world if you cook it that way.

Our room came with a butler and his name was Daniel, he was awesome, every day made sure we had everything we needed, made all our dinner reservations for us at sunset like we asked for. If you want to eat at the best restaurants you will need to buy the highest level of the all inclusive, to us it was worth it! I would also want to acknowledge another employee named Daril, he also went out of his way to make our trip wonderful! I would suggest the sunset dinner cruise, pay for the dinner, it was delicious, the entertainment was awesome and the band that played during cocktail hour was fabulous! My only critique would be to buy new towels, they're horrible and you would expect nice fluffy ones at that price! Great place! We will be back!

Wow! This resort far exceeded our expectations this week! The resort is absolutely beautiful, maintained so well and even the bathrooms are spotless, and the service was amazing! We will definitely come back soon! Many of the waiters and other employees were so helpful to us. In particular, Felipe Ochoa at Las Marias made our visit so special by doing extra small things for us such as bringing our mimosas with cherries in them (and bringing extra cherries when he found out we loved them). Isabel was another wonderful waitress at Las Marias. Our room was near El Eden, so we spent time at their bar each evening. The bar manager at El Eden was wonderfully friendly and helpful to us, and his entire bar staff was helpful and friendly, and remembered our names. I can’t say enough about what a great experience we had….and we have traveled all over the world. Thank you to everyone at the resort for making our vacation so special!
