Just returned from a wonderful one week stay. Resort was exactly what I needed. Was very quiet and relaxing. We were in a Casita with a beautiful room, balcony and view. It was amazing, every time I looked out into the water I saw Whales within 10 minutes. The food and drinks at the resort were very good. Had a great massage at the spa. We did leave the resort for 3 dinners, whale watch tour and San Jose art walk on Thursday night. Ruben and Sebastian from Concierge checked in a few times a day to make sure we had everything we needed. Service was amazing. Perfect place to go to relax/detox.

The reviews are correct - this resort is beautiful, with exceptional service from the staff. The property is vast but extremely well-maintained and gorgeous. The pools are all well-designed with breathtaking views. We enjoyed a great breakfast each morning with excellent views while watching whales in the ocean. The spa is incredible, and our massages were fantastic. If you like resorts, nothing is missing at this property - it is a 5-star- a little coffee shop (that turns into a cute bar at night!), lots of restaurants/bars (including a swim-up), pools, and a terrific spa. The staff also go out of their way with incredible service and a big smile. The room is spacious, has a great bathroom, and is well-appointed. We were disappointed to have an ocean view from the ground floor. If we stayed here again, we would insist on staying on an upper floor. The only other negatives on our stay are 1. The property was hosting a corporate event; it looked like one of those corporate awards trips. 2. They have a walking path for morning walks, but it would be worth the investment if they extended it to include some ocean views and not just a desert landscape.

Subject: Thank You for an Unforgettable Anniversary Experience My wife and I recently celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Esperanza, and it was truly a trip of a lifetime. We feel incredibly fortunate to have spent such a meaningful milestone at your stunning resort. We stayed in one of the spa suites, and the experience was exceptional. The room was beautifully appointed and incredibly comfortable. Each evening, we relaxed in the hot tub with a glass of wine or champagne—an absolutely perfect way to unwind and reflect on the day. Sebastian took care of every detail with grace and professionalism. From the festive room decorations to the surprise chocolates and champagne, he went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. And the food—wow! We enjoyed the fajitas and fish tacos so much that we never made it to anything else on the menu. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and simply delicious. The service throughout the resort exceeded all expectations. Every team member we encountered was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely cared for. We We had a truly memorable stay — the staff were flawless (10/10), the room was pristine and peaceful (10/10), and the food exceeded expectations (10/10). The hospitality team here is consistent, warm, and deeply attentive — easily one of the best we’ve experienced. That said, we were uncomfortable with the resort’s focus on July 4th celebrations. As non-American guests, it felt oddly exclusionary, especially when other national holidays (like Canada Day) weren’t acknowledged at all. In the current global climate, promoting unquestioned U.S. patriotism — came across as tone-deaf to many international travelers. Additionally, we noticed an issue with some residents from the owners side of the resort encroaching on hotel guest spaces. At one point, a woman attempted to hold eight pool chairs, and when politely challenged by other guests, responded with open hostility. The dynamic created what we jokingly dubbed the “MAGA pool” — a space that felt entitled, unwelcoming, and completely out of sync with the otherwise inclusive spirit of the resort. We consciously chose not to vacation in the U.S. at this time, given the treatment of immigrants and marginalized citizens — so being unexpectedly drawn into a July 4th celebration felt unavoidable. Despite this, we want to emphasize that the staff are truly exceptional, and the resort itself is stunning. We would gladly return — but we hope the management takes seriously the opportunity to create a more thoughtful, globally inclusive atmosphere that reflects the diverse guests they welcome from around the world.

One of the best hotels in Cabo, and I believe we stayed at most of them The service is tremendous, the food is quite good, the rooms are breathtaking Not a huge fan of the Mexican feast, but I never loved buffets The size of the room was very spacious, with a Jacuzzi on the balcony, fantastic bed, very spacious room The staff is impeccable, the gym is gorgeous, and everything was nearly perfect. The one disappointment was construction, was going on which was noisy, and I would’ve loved to have known that beforehand, but otherwise the place is nearly perfect
