Of all the high end Hilton properties we have enjoyed over the years, this is by far the best. There were multiple reasons:1) the location in the o ran is to die for. What made this so special is the significant ocean sound audible in any room with a view of the ocean. 2) the service was extraordinary. Everyone from our own butler (Christian and Eduardo) to the front desk staff was so helpful, kind and pleasant to deal with. 3) the food was amazing, Better than any property in the Hilton family I’ve experienced so far. (I’m a lifetime diamond member and have traveled the world on Hilton) 4) the rooms were all amazing, from the standard rooms which had a nice outdoor couch on the large deck to 1500 sq ft premier ocean front suite with window walls that could open completely and plunge pools! Wow, what a property! Can I go back tomorrow?

A special mention to Diana, one of the managers, who was exceptionally kind and attentive to us. She went above and beyond to make our stay extra special, and we truly appreciated her warmth and hospitality.
The resort itself is stunning, with beautiful ocean views, luxurious rooms, and a peaceful atmosphere that was perfect for our relaxing getaway. We truly had a fantastic time and couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate this special moment in our lives. Highly recommend and would love to return in the future!

What an unfortunate event at this property. We usually travel 5 stars hotels all over the World, but really loved Astoria in Cabo and this time we wanted to give a chance to Conrad first time in this location.
From the initial unstable responses through emails several months before about prep fully prepaid already over prices trip, which was $1400 jacked up prices for Valentine’s Day trip , we were already alerted where we were getting ourselves into.
Daniela Rodriguez, our pre and current butler were rude, obnoxious and unfriendly with inconsistent responses and to all primely answers not to
It.
Up on arrival Bill, the second friendly butler issued us a late check out till 4 pm, if we knew we would be locked out of our Anniversary Day at noon, we would have chosen earlier flight.
Prior to arrival, we mentioned we are coming to our big Anniversary, no one even ones acknowledge, not even celebrated our Anniversary, no one cared.
I had spa pre booked months ahead and when arrived no one even prior mentioned that music was blasting outside , even they knew that guest having cabana massages, they cancelled experience very last second and I had to wait for my massage wasted extra 30 min, wasting my time for inside for available room to have a quiet massage. So unprofessional.
The bathroom shower sink was clogged, addressed to fixed twice and still was plugged with pictures as of today after, shower head had barely come with pressure.
That also was not fixed with two attempts. As well bath water drain opened did not work.
For everything we ordered we had to wait up to hr( including towels) and wait extra times.
The whole focuse of hotel felt like how to suck out money from American guests, as much as they can.
For example, they did have other rooms similar category available you keep us till 4 , but miraculously if we paid extra check out fees for half day, room was still available, but they were refused to keep us there stayed we have to pay full amount or even to standard room, pay fees and taxes, really?
How complimentary is that if was stated free complimentary in our original solution. Food on the other hand was just ok and overpriced. Nachos stale, even though they tried to replace, and we said no thank you, chicken wings were dry and not seasoned, ranch dressing terrible, one thing I only like Ceasar salad, we practically ordered that one daily.
Buffet was sucked, not much variety of food and poor selection and I m
Not even talking about the quality, so practically we went only ones. I have to mention expect wait at least 20 min online to get in and make sure you join buffet breakfast at least in hr prior, because exactly at 11 am you won’t see any food from stands.
In room dining pizza 🍕 was brought, seemed like Pizza Hut delivery and that all with additional room service fees and delivery fees and stated extra tip section.
Food from Codex yesterday for two items took 1 h 20 min to get and they want to charge $20 instead $5 . Scam all over. Wi fi connection was terrible, so if you are planning to work while “resting here”, good luck with that.
We ordered flowers for Anniversary, stuff asked for cash no receipt with no choices where is cash went, not invoice, no choices, unbelievable.
The upper management were fighting with us on phone, including Alfredo for room negotiation. Such a relaxing experience.
What a shame. We will be putting a formal complaint to Hilton headquarters for this treatment and next time will be join St. Regis. What a waste of money! Thank you for trying for the rest!
P. S Before writing ✍️ a review with frustration, we addressed all these issues to our butler Daniela Rodriguez a d she mentions that she would forward that to her management, but management seem did not care. At least one of them, at this matter, Alfonzo or Maria, ignored it. Provide your direct email here to respond your back, including your name, to go further, before formal complaint to Hilton headquarters. Thank you for fast response.

We had an amazing 3 night stay at The Conrad. It was the perfect way to finish off the holidays! The beachfront room (Casa 7), was incredible. It was spacious, tastefully decorated and stocked with provisions. As many have stated, the grounds were beautiful and the staff was exceptional! I'm perplexed by any negative reviews of food? We ate at all 3 restaurants on the property, each one even better than the last. The highlight was Codex, where we served by Jesus, he was an absolute delight. I'm grateful that he recommended the grilled octopus when I asked his opinion, it was a culinary masterpiece. Treat yourself to a spa service, the treatments and facilities were perfection!

I want to start off by sharing that I travel to Mexico twice a year, Cabo specifically, but I have been to Puerto Vallarta a couple of times. I usually stay at the same places, circulating between three different 5-star resorts. Although I think this resort is really nice, I don’t think it’s worth the money we paid, which is twice, if not triple, the amount I spend in Cabo. For as much as we paid, it just was not perfect.
Resort – as mentioned, it’s nice and beautiful! The resort has a modern decor, which I appreciated. Most times I don’t care, but the modern décor was a nice touch for the group I went with, which was all couples in our mid 40s.
Room – we were upgraded to the plunge pool room with a view. The plunge pool is great, but sorta doesn’t make much sense. With various pools on site, why would anyone spend their time on their balcony? A hot tub would’ve made much more sense. There were no views, granted I got a room with an ocean view. In fact, everywhere we went, all we saw were palm trees. Don’t get me wrong, there are LOTS of palm trees in Cabo too, but most of them are on either side of the building, not all over the property (refer to my photos). When we had breakfast at Arbol, we were on the deck but all we saw were trees. When we had lunch at Paletta, all we saw were trees. Even from our room…..you guessed it….trees. I think I saw about 5-6 feet worth of the sand/water.
Also, the rooms are very big and spacious. The bathroom was HUGE but note the room is not good to share for a girls weekend. The shower is open space with no coverage. It’s just a partial glass window. The toilet was in its own private room which was very small. And there are no vents in the bathroom or toilet room, making getting ready very uncomfy bc it was stuffy.
Cleaning – housekeeper came by only to leave a note they tried to clean every single day we were there. Timing was not right, and we didn’t get cleaning the entire four days there. We had ONE turndown and that was it. We just recycled our towels as needed.
Front Desk – all were nice except when we checked in. The gal didn’t smile, and she was rude when I asked to confirm the incidental was $3,000 USD. She said yes so I asked my hubby to reiterate in Spanish and he was also shocked of the fee. We did not ask to lower the fee, but she sensed I was appalled by this and offered an incidental rate of $1500. Later I found that my friend who had the same exact room was offered a $600 incidental rate and another one that had a suite was offered a $900 rate. So strange…..
Restaurants – both restaurants we went to had good food, just way overpriced. A breakfast for four cost us $165 (no cocktails) and a lunch for two cost us $135 (two cocktails).
Gym – super huge and spacious.
Spa – didn’t use spa; was scared after I saw it was $325 for an 80-min massage.
Wifi – didn’t work pretty much 50% of the time.
As mentioned, the property is stunning, but for what we paid, I just expected a lot more. We pay half the price and get much more in Cabo.

This hotel is not worth the price. I usually stay at the Four Seasons in Punta Mita, but I decided to try the Conrad and I regret it. It immediately started off weird when we asked the driver of the transport that we scheduled through the hotel (for $300, an hour drive) if we could pull over at a gas station to use the restroom and get a bottle of water. He told us if he pulled over the hotel would charge us an extra $80. Then, when we arrived and checked in, they informed me that they were going to put a $5000 hold on my credit card. This is a very steep hold considering our entire stay was not $5000. When we arrived, we could see that there were a lot of people that seemed to be together checking in and all over the hotel and we were informed there was a wedding going on and all the guests were staying at the hotel. We told them we were here for my birthday and not once was my birthday cared about or acknowledged by any of the staff. When I booked this months ago, I booked a Partial Ocean view, and when we got to our room, we had a view of some palm trees, very far from the ocean with no partial at all. I called down to the front desk to explain fix the issue. They told me they would talk to someone and call me back and then literally just never did. The customer service disappointment went on for the entire stay as they were CLEARLY prioritizing the wedding guests. Just do yourself a favor and spend your money somewhere where they care about your experience.

My husband and I returned yesterday from a 4 night stay at the Conrad. This is a lovely beach location close to the town of Punta Mita. I noted pros and cons to staying at the venue.
Pros: If you want a kid friendly location this is the place. There are many pools and water slides and plenty of kids on the premises. The Codex restaurant was by far the niciest- and one of the niciest in the entire town. The pools are lovely and there is an adult pool- but it does not have an ocean view. The beach chairs were some of the coziest with thick plush cushions. The bath products in the hotel rooms are Mojave Ghost which is a nice brand -great for men and women alike.
I did meet some great staff members who work at the resort. Jorge (Mesquite), Jesus/Martin (poolside), the lobby bartenders, the breakfast manager at Arbol and the bellhops/motor staff were great.
Cons:
Check in took a very long time. Short lines but inadequate help. The housekeeping is slow to clean your room. The indoor omelet line at Arbol was ridiculous. My husband waited 30 minutes and there were only 2 people ahead of him in line. This was not the fault of the omelet maker but the property giving him inadequate tools to work with. The gift shop was small and did not have alot to choose from. Best bet go into town and check out Mita Mita store. The rooms are basic- not sure what gives them a 5 start rating but they are clean and modern. The restaurants: Mesquite, Arbol and Papette were far from Michelin due to limited menu and wine list. But Lobster Paradise and Tuna Blanca are right in town.
Overall a 4.3 star review. This is not a 5 star property. If you want that best to go down the road to 4 Seasons or St. Regis.

One of the highlights was having our dog, Kirbie, included in the session. Conrad Punta Mita is wonderfully dog-friendly, and Wendy and Antonio embraced that, making sure Kirbie was comfortable and part of the magic. Their patience and creativity resulted in stunning photos that we will cherish forever.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the resort. There were a few events going on during our trip but it felt like we still were treated as the only guests! Our suite room was amazing and our Compadre help and supported us through out the stay. They even helped arrange a babymoon theme for our room when we arrived to our suite. We are very happy to have had our babymoon at the Conrad and can't recommend it enough.
Beam photography is a must for couples as well! Wendy at beam is so helpful and thoughtful, made our babymoon photo session perfect! Regardless of your stay, honeymoon, babymoon or just a vacation we'd recommend a couples or family photo session with beam!

Excellent customer service! Many hotels offer great rooms, views, activities But what sets this one apart is the customer service. Really appreciated it. They always answered the phone when I called, responded to my concern (ie transportation reservation and reservation modification) and followed up when necessary. Thank you

Hands down, the Conrad is located at a spot on the Pacific that is still wildly beautiful and out of reach of most tourists.
Its immaculate white building enclaves with blooming hibiscus all around with towering palms offered a sense of privacy. Unlike Puerto Vallarta which is reeling over with tourists, the spread of the Conrad property provided a sense of quiet and solitude. Well, for the most part so it was quite jarring when cleaning made a huge ruckus for over 2 hours without it seened, any concern for tourists taking a siesta between the hours of 3-5 pm.
The hotel offers a lovely margarita upon arrival. But the hospitality could be better - our room was not ready until 3.30 pm despire requesting an early check-in. It didnt make for a smooth trip as no one bothered to read the request we had sent in. Also we were charged 2-3 times for the same room, leading to much time wasted and stress after we returned from our trip.
The cab service offered by the hotel to the airport anf other places are priced at a premium of almost four times and higher than hotels like the Four Seasons in the area too.
The infinity pool was lovely with the perfectly warm water as were the rooms and the clean beach with mangroves (and crocodiles in them!) But I struggled to comprehend why the pool was closed in the evening by being cordoned off. Folks who are on vacatjon do like to take a swim in the evenings too, especially when you offer them a room past 4 pm habitually.
All in all, fantastic and brand new property but the hospitality and staff needs to stretch themselves.

Beautiful property , lovely clean rooms and outstanding service . My husband had a work event here and I tagged along with our son.
Here are the pros :
1) Food was delicious. Breakfast buffet , tuna poke for lunch and a plethora of great food at dinner .
2) the front desk , bell service , waiters , housekeepers , grounds - friendly kind and exceptional customer service . Very impressed
3) Amazing property - stunning views , pools , beach , nice hotel gym
4) if you try to connect with some Spanish -the staff really appreciates the effort . We are in their country - try to connect with kindness .
Why I didn’t give it 5 stars :
1) on Friday , weekend guests for a wedding arrived and took over the adult pool . Throwing a football splashing the guests . Playing their own music and having a great time with zero regards to the other guests . Management should have shut that down . Why some guests feel that they can take over an entire pool when there are other guests is crazy . So so rude .
If the Conrad wants to compete with the Four Seasons , which it could , it should have a no music rule or football throwing rule in the pool area . There is a huge beach - do your thing on the beach - not at the pool . No one is impressed with your lame football skills .
