We upgraded from the JW Marriott to Casa Maat and it was the best choice ever. Butlers Jesus, Francisco and Abraham tended to our every need. The breakfast dinner and snacks that were included plus the drinks made or it an excellent value. Plus the service was fantastic, and the rooms and property were very well appointed.

Eduardo, Francisco, Rinna, and all the staff took the best care of us. We enjoyed our stay immensely! The calm and omnipresent sound of the waves were immediately relieving of all stress and set the vibe for a relaxing vacation. The whales visible in the sea from the resort was...

Eduardo was amazing at the Casa Maat at Marriott Los Cabos. He made our stay so special. We look forward to coming again! We highly recommend staying at this wonderful resort. The rooms are spacious, the grounds are beautiful. The food is exceptional!

Eduardo is the best. Hard worker and very good. Rooms are clean and all meals are very good. Whole property is clean and hotel is a great change from all-inclusive clientele. Everyone is willing to help and take care of your needs. I would recommend this hotel to amyone.

Enjoyed third annual trip to Cabos. Love the quietness of Casa Maat. Rooms are spacious and have pretty good views. Breakfast selection good. Nightly dinners ok but service is great. This year spa experience not great as steam/sauna (men’s) and sauna/jacuzzi ( women’s) plus showers were not hot.

The hotel and the location were incredible and gorgeous beyond words. What stood out the very most was the excellence of the staff, Antonio, Eduardo, Avril, Regina, Jesus, Abrahim, Oscar, Monserrat, Ivan the bartender and so many others…incredible people filled my experience and allowed for a deeply restorative get away....

We are just departing from our stay at Casa Maat. This was our first time staying there and we definitely be going back! While we were there, we met several others who are repeat guests. We can now see why people return. The property is located on a beautiful, remote beach that is perfect for a daily walk, although It is not swimmable. There is a lovely pool overlooking the ocean and, as we were visiting in February, the whale watching was spectacular! The boutique hotel is quiet, but the town of San Jose is a short Uber ride away where there are many restaurants if you want to go out. Along with the picturesque, quiet location, you receive the most amazing service! The Entire staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming. They make you feel like their special guest. We could not have picked a better resort for our honeymoon. The service was unmatched, the weather was beautiful, and the hotel amenities offered all that we could have needed. Being tucked away in a more exclusive part of the resort but still having access to the beautiful JW pools, gym, and spa was great. Everything felt like it was on our time and at our pace. A perfect honeymoon or couples getaway destination.

We love Casa Maat! This was our second visit, and we are headed there again in April of 2025! This hotel is pristine clean and has a great view of the ocean from the pool. The service level is great- even down to being remembered for what our preferred drinks...

We love Casa Maat! This was our second visit, and we are headed there again in April of 2025! This hotel is pristine clean and has a great view of the ocean from the pool. The service level is great- even down to being remembered for what our preferred drinks were at breakfast and dinner. Love the close proximity to San Jose. Also love they check you in and out of the hotel when you grab your Ubers- extra layer of safety we appreciated. Gym is still a bit warm but lots of equipment including spinning bikes which I always love having the option. We didn’t use the butler service as we didn’t have occasion to, but they were nice and checked in on us. It’s my go- to hotel in San Jose. We can’t wait to return. For reference I’m Lifetime Titanium, but I think the level of service is that everyone there is treated like a VIP. See you in April!

Chips in tile in room. Patio cushions in need of replacement. Doors slamming shut in early morning. Breakfast and food in lounge marginal. No shuttle to golf course. Employees were trying hard. For the cost per day, should be exemptional.

Allow me to tell you what's not wonderful despite which I think it deserves 5 stars: First: I can't believe other reviewers haven't commented on the brutalist "soviet style" architecture of this place: its all concrete, huge severe and square. No soft edges here. I guess it jives with the landscape which is very dry and severe. Not to my liking but not enough to take a star away. Second: this property is far away from everything and the beach is NOT swimmable in the least because the waves are merciless. Also, front desk people: don't talk your guests into taking the $25 taxi to the nearest shopping area when Uber costed me $6 Third: the daily dinner is Meh. I am not fussy about food AT ALL and even I was suprised at the huge chunk of fried chicken they plonked on my plate one night. Still, 5 stars.

This is our favorite hotel to come relax, enjoy the sunshine, and the team takes care of everything you can imagine!!! From the butlers, to the waiters, and pool staff! We will return again and again. A gem of a hotel. Perfect couples getaway.
