We spent 4 wonderful nights at Casa de Los Sueños. It is a beautifully run boutique hotel, far away from all the hustle and bustle of Playa Norte, yet offers all the amenities and comforts that you need in a spectacular, peaceful setting. The views from the hotel are stunning, wherever you look. This boutique hotel also has a Mexican flair, which we love. The rooms are huge with comfortable beds, complete with refrigerators, and good showers. The lobby and front desk area are also nice places to hang out in and relax, as you’re overlooking the infinity pool which overlooks the Mexican Caribbean, with the skyline of Cancun in the background. So if you don’t or aren’t able to book an ocean view room, just sit in the lobby and enjoy the view. You can’t see it after dark anyway, regardless of which room you are in.
The hotel also has excellent breakfasts in the restaurant Kin Ha, just down the hill from the hotel, where you can enjoy the same spectacular view and amazing sunsets. In fact we ate at the restaurant every night because the food was very good and we also could not forego the view.
We also enjoyed snorkelling off the pier. We saw many colourful fish and it was really nice to be able to snorkel whenever we felt like it, as opposed to renting a boat and being on somebody else’s schedule.
I also want to mention that there is a very competent gentleman Carlos who works the front desk and essentially runs the hotel. He is fluent in English and bends over backwards to make sure that your every need is addressed. I really believe that a lot of the success of the place can be attributed to him. He is also good at making recommendations regarding what you might want to see and do. Casa de Los Sueños has many repeat guests and a good part of a hotel’s success is also found in their employees. This was evident at the hotel and at the restaurant. Thank you to everyone who worked very hard while we got to be pampered!

Lovely hotel with a super friendly and helpful staff - thank you Roger and Carlos! The views and sunsets are some of the best on the island. The grounds and rooms are clean and well maintained. I don't think I've seen a cleaner pool anywhere. Several new shops and restaurants nearby made it convenient when we didn't want to trek across the island for sunscreen or a meal. Access to Kin Ha beach club was a plus and we enjoyed breakfast at their restaurant every morning. Our room was Amore and I would absolutely stay there again, but would LOVE to book the presidential suite next time. I had a quick tour of the presidential suite and it's truly something special.

Casa de Los Sueños was a quaint little hotel on the south side of Isla. With 13 rooms, it was perfect for a nice relaxing vacation with not many people staying at the hotel. I love how the rooms are each unique in its own way with Mexican charm and no tv which makes it nice and relaxing. Carlos the front desk staff person really helped us out when we had a tough time with the shower in one of our rooms and he made sure to accommodate us. We enjoyed talking to all the front desk staff there and especially loved visiting with Maggie the hotel cat everyday and Nina, the hotel dog! Loved the quiet and peaceful infinity pool that only guests had access too. If you want more of a lively pool and ocean area to relax by, KinHa was the place to be at.
Thanks for a lovely time, we might be back next year !

We loved the quieter location and the very helpful service with golf carts, recommendations for activities and food, etc. Both Carloses and Roger always went above and beyond. Perfect location to avoid the party scene! And the hotel dogs and cats were fun!

My boyfriend proposed to me on the pier at Kin Ha. They really did pull out all the stops. The level of service we received was second to none.
Thank you to all hotel staff at the hotel and kin ha for the most magical evening of my life.

Just returned from five days at Casa de los Suenos. We had an oceanfront king, and even though I'd seen the photos, I was surprised at how spacious and nice the room was. It's amazing to be inside the room with the aqua ocean filling the view. The balcony was a boon. The staff, as others have said, is stellar here. All of them--Juan Carlos, Chris, Roger. After my husband's cash card was eaten by the ATM at the Cancun ferry, they helped us out by allowing us to write extra into our hotel bill and refunding us with cash. Otherwise, we would have had no pesos for the trip. They arranged seamless transfers with At Your Service and a golf cart rental that cost less than other places on the island charged. Plus, Casa de Los Suenos has a special arrangement with the Mayan Beach Club at North Beach, and that is well worth it. We went two days. The beach there is so beautiful, and the food really excellent. We loved being at the quieter end of the island. Centro was a bit of a zoo for us, but down around Punta Sur is peaceful and beautiful.

Casa de los sueños exceeded expectations!
The room were charming and so comfortable with an amazing view (we had a king ocean view room). I loved the Mexican aesthetic and warmth.
Access to the water from the Kin Ha beach club was directly below the hotel and perfect for us. There is no beach, but lots of chairs, and access to WONDERFUL swimming from the deck or long dock over the water. We didn’t even use the pools we had access to.
It’s an easy walk to several restaurants, and the amazing Carlos and Rogelio helped with scuba, restaurant recs, and golf carts. They also arranged ariport/ferry transfers which were perfectly smooth.
If you are looking for something away from the hustle and crowds of north beach, but with great swimming and a warm vibe, this is your place!

During our initial venture to the island, we found ourselves pleasantly surprised by the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. Their warmth and reliability made navigating the island a breeze for us. The intimate size of the hotel added a personal touch to our experience, which we greatly appreciated. Located adjacent to the hotel is Kin Ha, a vibrant establishment open to the public, offering a range of amenities including pool access, dining options, a bar, and snorkeling opportunities. We enjoyed the convenience of having access to this lively spot while also relishing the peace and quiet of our hotel's private pool area. The accommodations were comfortable, with lovely outdoor spaces to relax in. It's safe to say that we're already looking forward to our next visit.

I can't speak highly enough of this lovely boutique hotel. There are only 10 rooms with most having ocean view. We had a fridge but nothing else which was fine for us. Full breakfast with anything you could want (except maybe granola) was included and the restaurant is great. This place is on the east end of Isla Mujeres...the quiet end. We used the golf cart rental or cabs to get to places in town. The Joint (a fun place) is walking distance as well as a few other places. Mostly we stayed at our end and enjoyed the snorkeling and swimming pools. And incredible sunsets. The staff was amazing...felt like family. Shout out to Carlos and Roberto.
I also want to recommend the airport transfer people they referred us to. At Your Service...private cab greeted us in Cancun, took us to the ferry, gave us our ferry tickets, taxi met us in Isla and took us to hotel. Then back again at departure time. All without a hitch. Worth every penny.
The only con might be lots of stairs (if that is an issue for you) and no sand beach if that is an issue. The lounge chairs are water edge and there are kayaks, and other stuff and good snorkeling.

We just spent 8 nights here and had a great time. It's all pretty low key, which is exactly what we were after for a reading and swimming break.
The staff are all excellent, and the whole place has been very cleverly designed and decorated.
Our room had a huge very comfortable bed, and a balcony overlooking the hotel's own pool, which was small but not tiny, and had loungers around it. There was decent bathroom with a large shower, though water flow wasn't great.
It's two minutes walk down a sloping path to the attached Kin Ha restaurant/beach club, which is open to the public. Breakfast there is included, but it's not the usual buffet - you just choose from the decent variety of Mexican and American options. There was some weirdness about pricing, which was puzzling but not as bad as to be annoying: you could have coffee for breakfast but if you wanted tea you had to pay for it. And one day I chose 245 peso breakfast dish option but when my partner asked for the 170 fruit plate with the refried beans that were shown as an optional 70 peso side dish she was told she's have to pay for the beans. they could do with sorting that out

This place is so beautiful but with a really relaxed vibe which is what we were looking for. I wanted to stay in a boutique hotel that was nice but also would feel like a home away from home. Carlos, Chris, Roger, and Roberto were so helpful, friendly, and just came across as genuinely nice folks. Carlos gave of us some tips that made the trip extra special and helped us out with a golf cart rental etc! We will never forget the sunrises at Punta sur :). It was a perfect mix of relaxing and fun at the kin ha and when we wanted to get away from people we often got the infinity pool at the hotel to ourselves. The room was nicely decorated and has an amazing view. I was often hypnotized by the view while enjoying my coffee on the balcony. Can’t wait to come back!
