Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel

My wife and I recently celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Cap Juluca, and the staff did a phenomenal job making an experience we will never forget. For the moment we arrive, every team member made us feel incredibly special and genuinely cared for. The restaurant staff, bartenders, housekeeping, management, and concierge team all went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail truly set this property apart. This spa was absolutely phenomenal, and the facilities are first class in every way. Cap Juluca is truly a special place, and we are so grateful for the memories made there during such an important milestone in our lives. We look forward to returning in the future. Thank you again for making our anniversary one we will always cherish.

From day one of arriving at Cap Juluca, Xaria at the front desk made sure I was all set for an amazing stay and welcomed me back like I had never left. Breakfast was amazing—I loved the changes and thoughtful adjustments. Lunch at Cap Shack was incredible as always; it’s my #1 spot to eat whenever I’m at the hotel. The team there is truly amazing, and I appreciate them so much—they feel like family! Joann at the beach was wonderful and made sure to look out for me as soon as she found out I was there. Keanu and Delano at the pool are definitely my brothers away from home. A big thank you as well to Yoann and his reservations team for helping us even before we arrived. Tyler at the front desk was also very helpful during checkout. The entire staff at Cap Juluca is amazing, and I appreciate all of you so much. See you all again soon, Cap Juluca!

Cap Juluca is one of the most amazing places to stay in Anguilla. The gorgeous beachfront villas, the five star dining experiences, and the welcoming staff made this an unforgettable trip. Loved to be steps away from the beach, our dedicated chaise lounges and umbrella, and a stocked cooler. The beach staff were super attentive and friendly. Dining at Uchu and Cipriani’s was a highlight-enjoyed some of the most amazing food, definitely don’t miss the guac at Uchu! The spa is always a favorite on any vacation and the Arawak Spa was top notch. The interior was as beautiful as a Parisian boutique with all the Guerlain fragrances. The relaxation area was tropical, private, and stunning. Will definitely be returning to enjoy Cap Juluca again. Highly recommend!

Another trip to Cap J. One never tires of this exceptional resort . Consistently flawless. Staff warmth and attentiveness, All levels of staff , always a “ welcome back”with genuine smiles. Cap J feels like family and very difficult to leave as you prepare for departure. Yes the beach is a gem Fine dinning savored . Spa exceptional , Cap shack a favorite and Spirited Patty Keeps the shack hopping. A place of serenity and total relaxation . The hotel is ideally located on a long half-moon crescent of beach and doesn’t leave anything to be desired. Great architecture, good food, four different restaurants, very private and quiet. I would like to point out the quality of the service, which is truly exceptional. Not only were our comfortable, heavy beach beds loaded onto a van and transported to a spot of beach where the ocean was easier to access, but when I left two items behind on leaving, they were shipped by air to St. Barth at no cost. Another five-star hotel we stayed at in the US refused to forward something we had left in the room even though we asked that the cost be debited to our credit card!! The only weakness are the two swimming pools, which are relatively small and shallow and not up to standard.

We chose Cap Juluca for our honeymoon and it was truly the trip of a lifetime. The staff was detail-oriented and service focused, the dining, facilities and location were amazing and the beach itself is breathtaking. Ask for Deandre as a villa host, chat with Priscilla each morning at breakfast, do the champagne sabering and speak with Gopi in the evenings and go to Cip’s and ask for Miguel. What an experience. We’ll be back for future anniversaries!

For my wife's 50th birthday, we decided to celebrate it at Cap Juluca. We have visited several Caribbean islands in the past, but had never been to Anguilla, which was on her Bucket List. I picked Cap Juluca based on the online reviews I had read. What a brilliant idea that was! We arrived 2 days before her birthday and stayed 8 nights total. Everywhere we went on the property before and even days after her big day, the staff celebrated and wished her well. On the evening of her day, the staff helped me pull off a perfect surprise "Dinner Under the Stars". It was magical. Now to the resort itself - it is a wonderful place with a very pleasing aesthetic and immensely relaxing vibe. The rooms are spacious, well-lit, and clean. The staff is very caring and attentive. The resort sits at Maundays Bay on the southwest part of the island, and the beach there is absolutely breathtaking. The white buildings on that white, sandy beach contrast beautifully against the stunning turquoise water of the bay. The food at all four restaurants on the resort is exquisite. The view of the bay during the complimentary breakfast is a reason to have breakfast every morning. And I’ll make time to join the staff and other guests for “Savoring” every day at 6 pm. Please visit if you can. You won’t regret it.

We recently returned from a stay at Cap Juluca and had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful, the beach is truly exceptional, and the service from the staff was consistently warm and welcoming. We always felt safe and well taken care of, and the complimentary water activities like paddleboarding were a great touch that made it easy to enjoy the beach without additional fees. Our room itself was spacious, comfortable, and in a stunning location with gorgeous views. The setting of the resort is truly special and it’s easy to understand why so many people return. The only issue we encountered is related to sound insulation between rooms. Our room had adjoining doors on both sides (which we understand may allow the resort to combine rooms into larger villas). Unfortunately, the doors allowed a surprising amount of sound to pass through. We could clearly hear conversations, alarms, coughing, and other normal room noise from neighboring guests. Overall we had a lovely visit and would absolutely consider returning. The beach, the setting, and the kindness of the staff made it a memorable trip. Addressing the sound insulation between adjoining rooms would elevate the experience even further and better match the otherwise exceptional standard of the resort.

There are beautiful resorts in the Caribbean—and then there is Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel, where service and serenity meet in a setting that feels almost dreamlike. From the moment I arrived, the experience felt effortless. At reception I was welcomed with a cool towel before being escorted to a breezy outdoor patio for a refreshing welcome drink. There I met Ngozi, my dedicated villa host, who would thoughtfully curate each day of my stay. While my luggage and rental car were discreetly sent ahead to my room, Ngozi whisked me away in a golf cart to introduce me to the resort and its stunning surroundings. My home for the week was a beautifully appointed king suite with an oversized balcony overlooking the luminous turquoise sea. The room reflected classic Caribbean elegance—light-filled, refined, and inviting—with luxurious Frette robes, Anguillan-style slippers, and thoughtful touches throughout. Waiting on the desk was a small basket of the most delicious cheese puffs I’ve ever tasted. Each evening, turndown service brought a new surprise tucked inside, a small but delightful ritual I quickly came to anticipate. Ngozi’s attentiveness set the tone for the entire stay. He checked in regularly to confirm dinner reservations, arrange spa appointments, answer questions, and coordinate excursions—always present, yet never intrusive. Life at the beach was equally seamless. Each guest is assigned a chaise lounge for the duration of their stay, eliminating the all-too-common scramble to reserve the best spot in the sand. Every time I arrived, my lounger was already prepared with fresh towels and positioned perfectly for a day of relaxation. Beach service, overseen by Joann, was impeccable. Throughout the day, attentive staff circulated with thoughtful offerings—iced tea, sunscreen, frozen sorbets, spiced nuts, and even Painkiller shooters. One attendant in particular, Eulalie, embodied the warmth and generosity that defines Anguillian hospitality. Tireless, gracious, and genuinely attentive, she made every guest feel welcome and cared for. Dining across the property was exceptional, with menus that thoughtfully accommodate gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan preferences. I dined at three of the resort’s four restaurants, but the standout meal of the trip was at Uchu. This Peruvian-inspired gem delivers vibrant, beautifully balanced dishes that were among the most memorable of the entire vacation. The recently opened spa is another highlight—an elegant sanctuary dedicated to relaxation and renewal. My massage experience included additional facial treatments and luxurious skincare products at no extra charge, elevating the experience into something truly indulgent. All of this unfolds along one of the most breathtaking beaches in the Caribbean—powdery white sand meeting impossibly clear turquoise water. By the end of the week, the hardest part was leaving. Cap Juluca offers not just a vacation, but a rare sense of tranquility and care that lingers long after departure. I cannot recommend this extraordinary resort—and its exceptional staff—more highly. I feel fortunate to have experienced it and look forward to returning.

Serenely beautiful property. Gorgeous pristine wide white sand beach, great rooms, great food, seriously inventive bar talents. Lots of walking to and from, to stay fit, just getting to meals and gym… or using hotel bikes (freely available to ail). The huge breakfast buffet is amazing, such variety! All the food quality was so good, no reason to explore the rest of the island. We had more windy weather than would have been ideal, but no matter. The Shack, a seemingly authentic rustic island hideaway joint (w some legendary festive drinks i can’t quite recall), was a casual bar /lunch place at the far end of the beach. It was the perfect contrast to the full service restaurants. The 6 pm “Sabrage” where guests slice off the glass top off a champagne bottle w a sword was fun, and the complimentary champs quickly made fellow guests into friends. All the staff were well trained, not grumpy nor too friendly, and incredibly anticipatory for our needs. A discreet button you can push brings full service to your beach chaise! The impactful flavors of the Peruvian restaurant were a real surprise, we went there twice in 6 nights.

We spent 5 nights in a junior suite and it was paradise. Our room opened up onto a gorgeous patio that was just steps from our personal beach chairs. The beach is spectacular and relatively private. The service is top notch. Every person we encountered was beyond friendly and everybody knew our names. The service at the beach was fabulous. The guys all worked so hard and anticipated anything we could have possibly needed. The restaurants were all very good and the service was excellent. We had the most relaxing stay ever and will definitely be back.

This was our second time visiting this resort. The location is fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There have been many improvements since our stay last year. The rooms are spacious and all are beachfront. The three restaurants on site are all great. Excellent place to go for a relaxing break. The gym is one of the best i have seen at a resort of this size, and they plan to put in two pickleball courts and one Padel court. Worth a look.

In nearly 24 years of marriage, and having visited fabulous resorts and places throughout the world, Cap Jaluca is the very first resort that had me and my wife actually relax and chill for an entire week. The place is so unique, with our large, well furnished room steps away from a wonderful patio looking at to the beach and ocean, and literally 50 steps away from the beach, where our private lounge chairs and umbrellas awaited us. The spa was amazing, the restaurants were terrific, in particular Pimm's, and the breakfast - which is included, whether off the menu or buffet - was great. Our personal Concierge, Evan, was amazing and attentive to every need, question and requested recommendation. The Beverage Manager, Chris, was the lifeblood of the resort, always with a smile and a laugh. The champagne popping and toast at evening in the lobby at 6 pm was a must for us almost every day. He was such a pleasure. We loved it, and can't wait to go back next February.

This is an expensive hotel. But the value provided in terms of the facility, the room overlooking the beach, the immaculate setting on the bay, the dining, and the service made it a great investment. Anything that creates a hassle at a hotel doesn't happen at this one. Ever have your room cleaned twice a day? It's routine at this hotel. If you are looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, book at least 5 days in a room at this property. Spend the money. You won't regret it.
