Cap Juluca, A Belmond Hotel

It’s hard to put into words how special Cap Juluca is. Pictures don’t do the property justice - it is truly stunning. I have never seen a beach like this and the way that every room is situated along the bay, steps from the beach, is surreal. But beyond the beautiful hotel, pristine beaches and picture perfect setting… is the service. My husband and I just spent 5 days at Cap Juluca to celebrate my birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make sure it was the perfect week. Every little detail was thought of and the little extra moments were so thoughtful. Our host, DeAndre, was wonderful. Attentive would be an understatement. He entertained all of our silly asks and made any ask come true. On the beach, Jessica and Damien greeted us every day with bright smiles and made sure we were always taken care of. The breakfast was fantastic every morning! A special shout out to Priscilla who was the sweetest and even sang me a special birthday song. And Jackie who made our mornings lovely! Getting around the property was always a breeze, thanks to Gene! And the pool at Uchu was always immaculate and picturesque - we loved spending time there with Delano! The spa was incredible, maybe the best we have ever been to. I missed their names but a huge thank you to all of the women working there who helped me find my perfect fragrance! I’d run back to Cap Juluca in a heartbeat. A true gem.

We just returned from our 15th anniversary trip to Cap Juluca - I was SO not ready to come home! What a beautiful resort! The grounds are lovely, the rooms are absolutely gorgeous and have amazing views. The beautiful water and soft sand is just steps from your room. It's like its own private paradise. If you are looking for romance, quiet relaxation, privacy, absolutely beautiful views, great service, and delicious food, look no further than Cap Juluca. We typically keep to ourselves on vacation and this was the perfect place for that. This was our first trip to Anguilla and I have never been to an island with nicer, friendlier people. Everyone is SO kind, so warm, and so helpful. We loved all the on-site restaurants and were excited to try each one throughout our stay - we did go to Uchu twice because, the Peruvian ceviche!! SO good! Pimm's was very special and our server team were so sweet and so kind, they also had the sweetest hostess. Get the lobster roll at the Cap Shack! The spa was absolutely beautiful and we had a fantastic couples massage - definitely do not skip the spa! All the beach attendants, the hosts, housekeepers, servers, valets - everyone was so kind and provided great service - thank you to each of them. We don't get the opportunity to get away alone often, and we are so glad we chose CJ for this special trip. I very much look forward to returning in the future!

We returned to Cap Jaluca after we were married there 20 years ago. We regret not returning sooner. The service, the beach and the villas were incredible. Our villa was right on the beach with just a small lawn between the door and the beach. Chairs were super comfortable and yeti with water was appreciated. The rooms are beautiful and spacious as well as the bathroom was luxurious. Deandre our villa host made our stay special. Arranging dinner reservations and taxis was very much appreciated. Service at the resteraunts and bars were exceptional. Damian and Koreann took great care of us on the beach. Martha and Soya at Uchu bar, Franklin and Albert at Cips and Ian, the GM made us feel welcome. Patty and the team at Cap Shack were some of the best service on our trip. Gene at the front was excellent in assisting with taxis and was always warm and friendly. The beach was stunning and food at all restaurants was excellent. The spa is a must. It's beautiful and relaxing and couples massage was excellent. This was truly a 5 star resort. We can't wait to return to Anguilla and Cap Jaluca. This is a true gem.

My wife and I just spent one week at Cap Juluca in Anguilla. This property is outstanding. It is set on a beautiful beach (Maunday's Bay) and is extremely well maintained. Each guest is pre-assigned chairs and umbrella, so there is no need to reserve space at the beach each morning. The staff on the beach are attentive and bring periodic complimentary drinks or you can order from their beach menu. The Cap Shack at the end of the property is another excellent option. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a junior king suite (we had reserved a premium beachfront king room). The property was not very busy (late June), so perhaps that facilitated getting the upgrade. The room was outstanding, only a few steps from the beach, and extremely well-appointed and maintained. We were assigned a concierge (Kera) who checked in with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed; she also handled off-site dinner reservation changes for us. Everyone at Cap Juluca is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There are four dining options on the property (Pimm's, Cip's, Uchu, and Cap Shack). The only one we did not try was Uchu, since we elected to have dinner off property several nights. Pimm's and Cip's are excellent and overlook the bay for a great sunset view if you time it correctly. The room was cleaned daily, in addition to turn-down service nightly. There are a few daily activities (we did the Myxology Class with Walter (who is awesome), rum tasting, and wine tasting). Cap Juluca is on the western end of Anguilla, so about a 15-minute drive from the airport. We rented a car (Island Car Rental - they drop off and pick up at Cap Juluca) and enjoyed traveling around the island on our own, both for finding different beaches and restaurants. Overall, this was a great experience and we hope to return soon with friends.

The trip started off a bit negative, with some hiccups with a private event closing some areas in the property and some lackluster service. I want to highlight the leadership of Ian who turned the trip around for us - it was an excellent stay and I respect his problem solving ability. Initially skeptical, I would 100% be back to cap Juluca and recommend it - Anguilla is a wonderful island to visit and explore. The beach, room designated chairs and breakfast spread were great. I also appreciated the champagne ceremony daily. If anything, would be nice to have a bar on property that stays open late and can watch some sports - could be an improved capshack. Cheers.

We enjoyed our time here. However, the experience was choppy for a 5 star property: To keep it simple: Beach: A+ gorgeous Welcome: A+ warm and easy Food: A- delicious Breakfast / Dinner service: B as expected Bar at Cap Shack: D slow, slow and slower acted like we weren't there half the time Bar in hotel: C- Slow and slower Room: B nice 4* Spa: B over priced $350+ for a massage not as good as we'd received at Eden Roc the week before for 20% less Management: A listened to my input. Comped us a night for our experiences. So - overall? good! Uneven service makes this 4* not 5*.

My sister and I just returned from six wonderful days at Cap Juluca, where we enjoyed our annual sisters’ trip to Cap Juluca for the second year in a row. Once again, it exceeded every expectation. Cap Juluca is truly a special place. The beach is breathtaking, the service is impeccable, and the food is outstanding. The spa was also exceptional and one of the highlights of our stay. It’s hard to imagine a more beautiful setting or a resort that delivers a higher level of hospitality. A special thank-you to Turvin, Eulalie, Ngozi, Erianne, Gene, Tyrone, and Priscilla—along with so many others. Every single team member we encountered was gracious, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay memorable. Thank you, Cap Juluca, for another fantastic vacation. We spent the first half of our honeymoon here- it’s probably the nicest place we’ll ever stay They think of EVERYTHING. Even showering was a luxurious experience. The beach loungers are sturdy and reserved for each room. Service at the restaurants, on the beach, and around the resort is great. Large fitness center, private beach, everything is made with comfort in mind. I don’t think we heard a single sound from another room while in our room, housekeeping kept everything spotless and we left feeling completely pampered. Food and drink do carry a hefty price tag though, which I’m sure goes in to all of the service but $10 for a 12oz light beer that goes for $3-5 outside the resort is the sort of price you pay to feel that pampered

Great trip to CJ and highly recommend this resort. Best beach on the Island. Incredible, helpful, friendly staff make CJ a destination year in and year out for us. A truly unique property unlike anything else we've experienced in the Caribbean. The architecture evokes a Moroccan-inspired aesthetic, while the interiors embrace a refined Caribbean elegance. Every accommodation is a standalone beachfront villa, meaning you're only steps from the sand and the sea, a feature that completely transforms the experience. Set across 178 acres, the resort wraps around a stunning stretch of beach, creating a sense of space, privacy, and exclusivity. Following its acquisition by Belmond in 2017, the property underwent a comprehensive renovation, and the attention to detail is evident throughout. The villas are spacious, beautifully appointed, and designed to maximize the natural beauty surrounding them. We traveled with our two young children, ages 2 and 5, and stayed for several days. Having visited many luxury resorts throughout the Caribbean, we found this property to be refreshingly different. It is quieter and more relaxed than many of the larger resorts, making it ideal for travelers who prioritize the beach over poolside activity. If your perfect morning involves waking up to panoramic ocean views and the sound of waves just outside your door, this is the place. One of our favorite aspects was the effortless access to the beach. Stepping out of our villa and being immediately on the sand made life incredibly easy with young children. The beach itself is spectacular, with crystal clear water and soft sand that stretches seemingly forever. Another thoughtful touch is the dedicated beach chair setup. Guests are assigned their own chairs associated with their room, and there is only a single row of chairs along the beach. Unlike larger resorts where chairs are stacked in multiple rows, this arrangement preserves the feeling of exclusivity and ensures unobstructed views of the water. The service was among the best we have experienced anywhere in the Caribbean. Every staff member genuinely seemed invested in making guests feel welcome and cared for. The open air lobby perfectly captures the spirit of the Caribbean, creating a relaxed yet luxurious first impression upon arrival. Dining was another highlight. The property features several excellent restaurants, including Cipriani, which serves outstanding Italian cuisine, and a Peruvian restaurant that was equally impressive. Both restaurants offered children's menus, making family dining easy and enjoyable. We booked through Chase Travel and received a room upgrade. We had specifically requested an upper level villa, which I highly recommend. The elevated views are breathtaking and create incredible photo opportunities. If possible, ask to be located toward the center of the property, where some of the best vantage points can be found. Breakfast was included with our stay and exceeded expectations. Guests can choose between the buffet or ordering directly from the menu, with both options included. Transportation around the property is handled via golf carts, and having one assigned to us proved extremely convenient throughout our stay. The only minor drawback is the pool, which is relatively small. In reality, it looks much like the photos and tends to be occupied by only a handful of guests at a time. However, given the extraordinary beach, we rarely felt compelled to spend time there. Overall, this is a special resort that excels at what matters most: a spectacular beachfront setting, spacious accommodations, exceptional service, and an atmosphere of understated luxury. We are huge fans of this property and can confidently say it ranks among our favorite Caribbean resorts. We will absolutely be returning. For travelers seeking a peaceful Caribbean escape centered around the ocean, it is difficult to imagine a better choice.

An absolutely stunning resort with outstanding service. From the moment you are met at the airport to arriving at the hotel, the level of service is remarkable. The general manager greeted us and the check in process was easy. Our butler Evan went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed every single day. The entire staff was so kind and thoughtful. Too many great team members to remember but Ricardo, Jerome and Anthony on the beach were fantastic. The Cap Shack is our new favorite beach bar and the Spa was over the top. And our special birthday dinner on the beach under the stars will never be forgotten. Thank you Cap Juluca for the best vacation ever!

Cap Juluca offers a beautiful beach and outstanding rooms. The food at their restaurants was excellent. However, for the premium price, the service was spotty. In most resorts that assign a host or butler to the guest, the host will visit the guest on a daily basis. The visits might be brief but the visits are in person. Our host visited with us only one time during our six day stay. During the other five days, I only received a daily text. In addition, on two separate days, our service at breakfast was mediocre. The waitress failed to come to the table to check if we needed more coffee. In both instances, I got up an retrieved my own coffee. I am certainly capable and willing to get my own coffee, but if I am paying $2500 per night, I would expect superior service.

We’ve stayed at Cap Juluca, multiple times over the years, and it continues to be one of our favorite places in the Caribbean. There’s something truly special about this property — every visit feels relaxing, effortless, and consistently exceptional. The beach at Maundays Bay is simply unmatched: calm turquoise water, perfect white sand, and an atmosphere that feels private and ultra luxurious. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and timeless, and waking up here never gets old. What keeps bringing us back year after year is the level of service. The staff always makes us feel genuinely welcomed and remembered, which creates such a warm and personal experience. The food, the beach service, the peaceful vibe, and the overall elegance of the resort are all done perfectly. Cap Juluca is one of those rare places that truly lives up to its reputation every single time. Already looking forward to our next stay.

OUR three day get away at Cap Juluca far exceeded our expectations. We are full time residents of St.Barths, so a trip to another island has to be special. The property with the expert team were highly professional, discreet and ever ready to provide us with advice and services. The cuisine was fresh, delicious with many choices of light and healthy fares. The setting is breathtaking turquoise waters and white sand beaches the epic Anguilla backdrop.. the sound of the waves and birds were such a pleasant touch adding to the ultimate joy of rest and relaxation. My wife and I recently celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at Cap Juluca, and the staff did a phenomenal job making an experience we will never forget. For the moment we arrive, every team member made us feel incredibly special and genuinely cared for. The restaurant staff, bartenders, housekeeping, management, and concierge team all went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Their warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail truly set this property apart. This spa was absolutely phenomenal, and the facilities are first class in every way. Cap Juluca is truly a special place, and we are so grateful for the memories made there during such an important milestone in our lives. We look forward to returning in the future. From day one of arriving at Cap Juluca, Xaria at the front desk made sure I was all set for an amazing stay and welcomed me back like I had never left. Breakfast was amazing—I loved the changes and thoughtful adjustments. Lunch at Cap Shack was incredible as always; it’s my #1 spot to eat whenever I’m at the hotel. The team there is truly amazing, and I appreciate them so much—they feel like family! Joann at the beach was wonderful and made sure to look out for me as soon as she found out I was there. Keanu and Delano at the pool are definitely my brothers away from home. A big thank you as well to Yoann and his reservations team for helping us even before we arrived. Cap Juluca is one of the most amazing places to stay in Anguilla. The gorgeous beachfront villas, the five star dining experiences, and the welcoming staff made this an unforgettable trip. Loved to be steps away from the beach, our dedicated chaise lounges and umbrella, and a stocked cooler. The beach staff were super attentive and friendly. Dining at Uchu and Cipriani’s was a highlight-enjoyed some of the most amazing food, definitely don’t miss the guac at Uchu! The spa is always a favorite on any vacation and the Arawak Spa was top notch. The interior was as beautiful as a Parisian boutique with all the Guerlain fragrances. The relaxation area was tropical, private, and stunning. Will definitely be returning to enjoy Cap Juluca again. Highly recommend!
